Thought I was booking a room at the Emerald Queen Hotel in Tacoma for a concert. I was attending there later realized by looking closely at an email. I was booked into the Emerald Queen Casino in Fife, 4 miles down the road and my shoulder establishment. Later found out if the Tacoma facility is sold out, the hotels app will book you into the Fife facility

First of all we didn't know there were two Emerald Queen hotel & casinos within 3 miles of each other. We started with the wrong one. The one in Fife, where we stayed, needs a security check more strict than the airport to get in. Not very convenient place to stay.

First time I stayed at a casino hotel and surprised to be entering though the main casino entrance with our luggage. We received an advance email about this but still surprised. The casino is “dated” but the room was adequate. Although it was a non-smoking room the smell of cigarettes still made its way into the room. This was as only a few a night stay-over hotel during a road trip and I would NOT recommend unless you have limited baggage and want to do a little gambling.

THEY REALLY NEED TO HAVE MICROWAVES. UNDERSTAND THEY WANT GUEST TO USE RESTAURANT-BUT SOME PEOPLE CANT EAT THEIR FOOD. ALSO EXPENSIVE . I WAS TOLD THAT IS WHY THEY DO NOT HAVE MICROWAVE. BUT OTHER THEN THAT WAS A GOOD STAY

Although employees everywhere was top notch and restaurant food above par the overall smell of the room made wife’s breathing difficult.

Great staff for sure. They helped when we needed them to.. Can't say enough about their customer service.. Restaurant in hotel was great but a lil pricy but they do have a deli which is a lil more convenient.... Rooms are comfortable and location is right off the freeway.. would most definitely stay again Thank you to all great job

Apparently there are two hotels named Emerald Queen both within 5 miles of each other. One is Hotel and Casino the other is Casino and Hotel and they are significantly different The web site is not clear about this and to be honest I would have just thought it was a typo error. Well apparently I booked my stay at the lesser of these hotels. The Lyft driver dropped us off at the wrong side so after dragging our luggage down the street and around the corner. When I was informed that I was at the wrong location I was confused and I little upset. Why would they have two hotels with the same name. No shuttle service and since I booked through Hotels.com they would not make and changed or accommodations Unfortunately the other location was significantly lesser in quality and amenities They did not have table games only one restaurant that closed within 15 min of our eventual arrival, the pool was already closed, it was a smoking casino and we were almost strip search upon our entry to the hotel/casino. Apparently security is tight and I did not expect to have to open all my luggage on the casino floor because I dinged the metal detector. As you can imagine I was pretty upset by the time we actually got to the correct check in desk. At that point after finding out everything that I planned on doing while there at the hotel was by not available. No card games, no bar, no entertainment, no restaurant Then I asked for a close room, they put me in the very furtherest one

Would have been great except the bathroom was not very clean!! I always bring sanitizer so I wiped it down myself.
