I made a reservation over a month in advance because the location of the hotel was what I was looking for and the Hotels.com reviews were very good. We checked in at around 6:00pm, the check in was efficient and informative and we went to our room. We found that the sink didn’t drain so they moved us to another room right away. Now the big problem….at 7pm the road right our window was blocked off and road construction work started, sawing concrete, backhoes digging up the road, constant beeping when the equipment and trucks backed up, lots of shouting back and forth between the workers, basically complete mayhem that went on until 3:00am. Then the same drill happened the next night. For the two nights we were at the hotel we had no peace and quiet from 7:00pm until 3:00am. Did we get any compensation? NO, just a “I’m sorry.” They gave a very lame excuse that the work wasn’t supposed to start for three days after we’re leaving. I’m not buying that. Please stay away from this hotel!!!

We checked in the evening after a visit to Yosemite, and the front desk staff was very friendly and professional, telling us the location of the room and nearby restaurants at the door of the hotel. In this cold night, we feel as if we see relatives as cordial, thank the employee, unfortunately, we did not ask her name, I wish her a happy work!

The pool area is great! Except when you get out, burrr. The breakfast in the morning is good, I would recommend getting there early because it gets busy fast. The rooms are perfect size and parking is so convenient. The people in the office are so nice and helpful. Every time I'm in Mariposa I stay here. It's a great hotel

Room was spacious but mattress was very old, lower at the head and worn out..very uncomfortable. Stains on desk. Hotel is very old and needs some updating. Breakfast was good.

Everything about this property was very nice EXCEPT their was no elevator available and it was 3 story. Everyone not on the ground floor must carry their bags up 2 or 3 fights of stairs. At $200 a night… I want an elevator. But like I said everything else was exceptional!!

Exceeded expectations. Stayed on second floor in back. Easy parking. Room bigger than average. Bed and pillows very soft. Felt safe. Staff friendly and helpful. Complimentary breakfast offered more than typical and spacious dining area. Provided water bottle refilling stations with cold water. Grocery store and restaurants nearby. Nice drive into Yosemite.

I understand we were in a small county town near the mountains but you can NOT advertise you have Wi-Fi and then not have it. I visited the area and stayed here Saturday - Monday with the intention of being able to work Monday morning from the hotel and had no Wi-Fi. I had to leave early. Location/Area was also not convenient and did not have hardly any food options. Would not recommend this hotel or area to anyone.

The hotel is in downtown Mariposa and is walking distance to shops and restaurants. The room was simple but had everything we needed. The daily breakfast had a good variety of options. All of the employees were friendly and helpful. Our only problem was with the internet. The router went out the day before our three-night stay and was still not fixed when we checked out, and there is very little service available in the area. We would stay here again.

The town is so small, mile long....the front desk like speaking to your friendly neighbor.. I literally had to pull myself away from the desk I have people waiting in the car. Five stars for the ataff

Nice hotel, great location in Mariposa. Rooms are clean and staff is great. Breakfast included and it’s a great perk. Wish it was closer to Yosemite valley, this hotel is much better than the ones close to the park.

Gave this place a shot and honestly was not that bad. I took a chance because I booked at the very last minute. My girlfriend and I agreed that it was not as bad as we thought. I wouldn’t mind booking here again.

Myself and my family enjoyed our stay at best Western in Mariposa. I would say they exceeded expectations, perhaps mostly in the service area. My two suggestions would be to install a quieter ceiling fan for the bathroom, and to review the outlets in the unit we stayed in as the receptacle springs seem to have worn out and plugs don’t stay firmly in their sockets

Best Western was a great choice for our one day trip to Mariposa California. The room was very clean, bathroom, shower, and counters were clean. The front concierge was very nice and friendly. Love the location of the hotel in the dreamy, inviting, and friendly people of Mariposa. I have some pictures I took and was hoping I could share them. I have pictures on my Instagram if anybody is interested in looking at them❣️ We will be returning to Mariposa in a couple of weeks and will be sure to stay at BW.
