Great and very characterful hotel right on a beautiful beach. Every eco-friendly and the salt water pool is a smashing feature with overhead walkway. Super breakfast and bar/restaurant.

The location on the beach in Le Touquet

The air-conditioning did not work very well. Both our room and the common areas (restaurant, bar, lobby) were all very warm. We did not realise that it would be full of families with small children. There were are lot of little kids running around. If you are going with kids I suppose it is good, but as a couple we did not find it very relaxing.

We were upgraded to a sea view room and what a view it is. 180 degrees of beach and big sky.
There is a large indoor pool (salt water).
The Novotel & Ibis share reception and facilities so worth checking prices for both.

Amazing views, nive hotels but swimming pool was honestly a bit cold...

The view is 5 star. Absolutely gorgeous! The swimming pool is fabulous and nd the staff is lovely. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, from the reception to the room cleaners and the bar/restaurant waiters, they did everything to accommodate our needs.
Now let's face it, the hotel rooms are clean but tired and poorly decorated (the painting on the wall was done unprofessionally). If it was not for the view, it is worth a 2 or 3 stars. The food at the restaurant is terrible, unfortunately. It is bland, no seasoning, no flavour. The service was good though by our lovely waitress.
Overall, I would recommend this hotel for the view which makes it unique but would not recommend to have dinner there and loser your expectations with the rooms.

Very slow check-in, extra charges for many things, no mini bar, no powdered milk for coffee in room, staff not very helpful, potted plants with weeds, perfume smells in hallway—-all in an expensive hotel.

Really enjoyable couple of days. Used the very friendly bar daily, had meals on the beach and in town, so cant comment on the food.

A beautiful location, and a stunning room. Highly recommend this place.

Pretty lovely place. Spaces to relax and enjoy, cool water on tap. Our room was tight for two adults and two children. Just about ok.
Views and breakfast were amazing. Loved the pool and steam room. Access to main beach a little tricky.

Room design and location as well as beachfront view was perfect! Overall hotel maintenance, needs more attention in order to keep they ***

The location of the hotel is superb, right on the enormous beach. Definitely worth getting a sea view room. The pool is great, and the fitness centre has modern equipment including 2 excellent treadmills. The bar is also great, with views across the beach. Service was a little slow. We ate in the restaurant, the food was ok and reasonably priced, the service ok but the choice of beer was poor. There looked to be plenty of options in town, a 20 min walk away. Along the corridor to our room, there were 5 or 6 rooms with glasses and plates evidently from room service which remained uncollected for several hours.

The view from the room was wonderful, directly over the beach. But the hotel room was basic, with the most depressing toilet cubicle ever! Staff were fairly efficient but not friendly except at reception.
Drinks in the bar expensive. Pool area busy but if your lucky enough to get a lounger excellent view.

This wasn’t a pleasant stay for the family. Language is a major barrier, and I wonder why an effort can’t be made to speak English. The lady at the shop next to the reception was extremely rude
and racist. My wife stood there waiting for her to serve her, but she kept chatting away to another French person, with no care in the world. Not even a greeting when my wife was finally served. I wonder how she got into the hospitality industry.

We made a 24 hour trip as I had a free night to use from Hotels.com. The location was perfect hotel situated right on the beach with a 10 minute walk into town. Would return.

Excellent hotel with swimming, spa and amazing restaurant

This hotel is magnificently situated with extraordinary views over a magnificently long beach. They are views to die for but the hotel, with a four star rating, does not live up to the views. The rooms are small, the service is pathetic (on arrival we were left to discover luggage trolleys to take our cases to our rooms) and lacks direction. The young staff need to be shown how a four star hotel should present itself. The price of €370 for a small room in the middle of June was excessive. With proper management and bigger spaces this could be an exceptional hotel given the views. It is up to management to learn how to adapt the hotel to modern day requirements.

Fabulous! On the beach. Just wish we’d booked sea view. Breakfast was good and choice of where to take it. Room spacious and comfortable. Cocktails rather expensive 😕

We had a water leak from the ceiling dripping all night from midnight - a free car park ticket was offered as compensation as we had already paid upfront..!
The 'family room' was small for 4 (and the price).
The pre-packed 'Covid-19' refreshment pack in the room had a stained coffee cup inside..
Facilities and breakfast limited due to Covid - which is understood, but no reflection in price reductions..

When booked Itinerary number 7483068247167 states - 1 double, 2 singles and 1 double sofa bed.
The room we got had 1 double bed and 1 single sofa bed.
There was 3 us adults. Room small and we felt enclosed was pleased only booked one night.
Also when booking in was informed they have no rooms which included what was stated on our reservation.
On the plus side the view from room was good of the beach,
Normally when book with Expedia what you state we get.

Marilyn

I was VERY disappointed that the SALT WATER POOL still contained a LOT of chlorine - it was very salty (so good for my skin) but I smelt of chlorine on getting out. Subsequently I had VERY sore skin for the rest of my stay. Needless to say - I could not go in the pool again!!
In Spain, the pool was ONLY SALT and was really good for my poor itchy skin. I have Dead Sea Salt baths at home but my room in the hotel only had a shower

Location right on the beach is wonderful!! This is the best feature and walking to all that Le Touquet offers is easygoing even with kids. Staff is friendly, but they are currently highly understaffed. This was especially noticeable in the restaurant/bar. The saltwater pool was very nice. Be aware that the Thalassa Spa is under construction!! This was disappointing and somewhat effects the layout of the pool entrance, changing area and sunning lounge/deck. Breakfast has a lot to offer; no complaints. We spent 6 nights here in a single room with bunk beds for the kids. The room is much too small for 4 people, our booking was last minute and there were no other options. We would stay here again and recommend this hotel to others while providing the above information; small room, understaffed, spa renovation.

Lovely views of the beach and sea from the restaurant.
Didn’t like the fact they only publish their menu in French when they get many visitors from the UK as well as Belgium and Holland so why not cater for non French speakers, not too much to ask is it?
Also, very expensive with a coffee and coke coming out at 10 euros.

Booked a dune view and ended up with a view of a load of containers, payed a lot of money to stay here so very disappointing. Room condition was average so again not good for the money. Position of the hotel directly on the beach was only real positive

Staff in restaurant were rude and unhelpful, on our last night we had terrible service our orders were wrong and staff visibly arguing with each other about who should wIt on tables. With two young children a three hour meal left them overtired and too tired to eat when we spoke to the manager he offered us some free drink vouchers however being our last night and in a rush to get our children to bed we were not able to use them! Shame nice hotel, terrible unhelpful staff

This hotel was ideally placed for the beach with direct access to sun beds and chairs. The beach is literally 20m from the hotel entrance. Parking was fine though very busy at times. The hotel was clean and tidy at all times and the staff were excellent. The pool was large though it was warm it was salt water. Towels were provided at the pool and there were lockers, showers and changing rooms. The restaurant was beautiful with stunning views. The breakfast buffet had plenty of choice and was always well stocked. The room was lovely and the balcony a good size.

We stayed here for a night en route to further south in France. Parking spaces were at ba premium as the hotel was full and initially we were parked in a very windy spot with the car being blasted with sand from the nearby dunes. Fortunately we were able to move it soon afterwards. Lovely views from hotel and pool spectacular. We did not eat in restaurant as it was fully booked so went into town. Bed not very comfortable. Other than that a good stay.

The best location right on the edge of the beach in Le Touquet! A modern clean hotel with friendly staff and good facilities. The bar and terrace out onto the beach is magnificent.
We visited on a bank holiday weekend this time with great weather but it meant parking was a real problem. Luckily we had a big 4x4 so could bump up a kerb and park on the verge.

Beautiful beach location, can’t get better sea views. Food good. Rooms very tight, especially with child/children in room. Ok for short stay. Expensive.

Stunning pool and view from the hotel. Rooms are a little small and basic.

Great location. Large swimming pool , staff mostly very friendly.
Family room was cramped with 2 adults and 2 teenagers and also very basic. Good toiletries.

I booked the hotel due to spa and room sizes. On arrival we were told the spa was closed till June ... this wasn’t stated anywhere. This was a huge disappointment. We booked superior sea view room this room was smaller than on the pictures. They were clean but minimal.

Stayed here in the past. Hotel has undergone recent renovation and is all the better for it. Lovely location and worth the extra money to get an ocean view and balcony. Will definitely return!

Refurbished rooms, suberb views from ocean side, good breakfast at reasonable price.
