When I did my check out with my family, they took away our bracelets that allowed us to get around the place. And we wait for 4 hour for our ride with being able to get any drinks due to them taking our bracelets.

It’s quiet and very familiar

If you want a real feel of what resort is, don’t come here. The whole place was completely underwhelming. There’s no communication between staff. They called my room 6x non stop while is was in the shower. All for just a signature. 1 call and a note on the door would’ve been sufficient. Prior to those 6calls they called me to tell me I owe them money and that I have snuck in someone. I paid for my 3rd party 4 hours prior to them accusing and harassing me. They made my family feel unwelcome. The room didn’t include a fridge or beverages or an ice bucket. They said members only. I had visited the park Royal in Cancun days before that and they had all that available for me. When I was in the restaurant’s I would sit for about 25 mins and have nobody offer me utensils or a drink. I had to tip money before eating to get attention. The food was limited they never made enough for the volume of people there. They obviously don’t know about hospitality in an all inclusive resort. It’s sad that I paid for all inclusive and didn’t get my moneys worth. They’re also doing construction. And staff uses the same elevators with guess. They’ll come in while it’s already tight with trash or food. Very rude. I won’t be going back. Also an apology would’ve been nice after making my family feel like they don’t belong.

Beautiful place, thank you!

No me gustó la comida, la habitación estaba algo lejos de lo principal, el cuarto tenía una fuga de agua.

Two workers (Mr. Hugo and Mr. Antonio) presented keen hospitality. They both were generous, kind, and helpful.

The staff was extremely friendly and ready to help all the time, very welcoming! We so much enjoyed our stay with 2 kids and my father-in-law and monther-in-law. Food was great! Atmosphere was amazing with all the tropical plants that they take care of so much! Highly recommend this resort!

Everything was fine until we tried to go to the beach and I kid you not, you had to take 4 different elevators to get to the beach crazy! It took us about 15 minutes to take the 4 elevators to get to the beach!

I had a reservation for 4 days & 3 nights, left after day 2. Would never go back. Most of the staff is rude, good luck trying to find a place at the tiny dirty pool. Ac didn’t work for nothing, First time to Acapulco and was really not enjoying any of it, until I went to Fiesta Americana! Was way better everything is very close to the heart of Acapulco. Oh and the security guards acting like they’re some hardened soldiers. Go at your own risk.

The staff is very friendly, only people that are staying in the hotel, live or work in that community are allowed to enter that part of that town therefore is very nice and quiet. The pool was under construction so I only had beach access
(limited) since you can only use the section on the hotel property.
The rooms smelled like humid the first day. Not a big deal to me, I had a relaxing long weekend.

I would not stay here ever again, there are so many more places to stay, try somewhere else.
Its old, our trip was late november and the hotels was super packed in Covid era, and to make it worse they have like 20 beds in the pool for like 2000 guests, supposedly is not allowed to reserve but all beds are reserved by 6am.
Worst of all there are drunks in the pool area and they pee out of the pool in plain view and nobody from the hotel does anything.
We had booked for 6 nights but took off by the 2nd night. Now comes the fight to see if I get my money back.

The kindness of the staff is the outstanding memory from my visit to Park Royal Beach Acapulco. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by friendly bell staff, gracious food and beverage employees, and a helpful concierge. My time at the resort was during rainy season and the property was relatively empty. The staff used this less busy time to dote upon me and ensure that I was well cared for. This can be especially said for the food and beverage team. I was rarely without a drink in hand and, when dining, Julio and his team went above and beyond in service. I also appreciate the staff's patience as I stumbled through my days using less-than-perfect Spanish.
Another great positive of this property was the private beach, albeit small.
The property itself is not a "luxury" property, per se. The buildings are several decades old and, while maintained, I would not say maintained very well. During rain storms the lobby was filled with towels and buckets to catch water from the leaking roof. The funicular frequently had issues where it wasn't working. The bathtub drained slowly and the AC was sporadic. Things along these lines. But we took it in stride and none of this was a great negative impact on our experience. And, to be honest, at the low price I paid for this trip I'm not sure that I could have expected more. It would be like paying for a Quality Inn and expecting the Montage.
Overall, I'd recommend the Park Royal. It also seems great for a family with children.

The hotel is nice. Had trouble with the AC, they took a long time to change us room. We didn’t even get an apology from the manager. Very confusing to find the hotel, it’s a little far from the center of Acapulco! Was not a big fan of the beach from the hotel.

Nice all inclusive hotel in the south side of Acapulco bay. Read previous messages of people complaining about the food and lack of amenities, this is a $75 (average) per person a day all inclusive resort what else do you expect for that price, the Four Season..!!!! If u’re traveling with family definitely this is the place to stay when visiting Acapulco.

Very good

Overall, fairly mediocre. Some staff went above and beyond. Some staff could use improvement.
A maid came into our room every day, even though we had the 'do not disturb' sign on. The beds were very hard. The pool area was often dirty, but partial blame can go to the families with kids who didn't clean up after themselves. Much more of a 'locals' hotel then a tourists resort. I wished for more entertainment.

The hotel had a great location, with a small private beach, good ro rest on the sea. People working on the hotel showed a great service attitude. Not much options for the "all inclusive" food and drinks. The cons is that hotel is kind of old.

Very poor internet service.... Buffet had the same food everyday... Not fresh at all. Lobby was so cold...had to wear a sweater and long jeans just to feel comfortable. To get to our room we had to take 4 elevators...plus walk through 3 corridors. It’s was not a pleasant experience.

Overall we enjoyed the hotel. I guess you could say you get what you pay for with a 3.5 star hotel. To start with the positive... the staff was very friendly, although many didn't speak English, and the secluded beach was absolutely amazing. The food was mediocre. There were a lot of families with small kids so if you're looking for a private or quiet relaxing hotel, this is not for you. Of course if you're going with a family then this would be perfect. The rooms were clean but old an a bit musty. Also, the thermostat was broken so we were frozen all night, the beds were hard and gave us back aches, the beach chairs didn't have padding so we couldn't relax, and we didn't always have hot water in our room. But I guess overall it was ok.
2.5
Beautiful location away from all of the noise and traffic of downtown. Very clean and well maintained.

The hotel was very clean and located in a quiet area. We went on our honeymoon, and were disappointed that there were only 2 full-size (hard!) beds in the rooms, no queen or kings. There were plenty of families - not exclusive to adults. There are only 3 restaurants to eat, so the selection was limited. Buffet was not great, but other two were good. The pools were very comfortable and the beach was cozy. Cab into town was about $10 each way, and is a needed break from the monotony of only two decent restaurants.
1.5
Hotel is adequate at best. Pool is ok, beach is small but secluded. There is a second kiddie pool. Get to pool early to get a lounge chair / umbrella, as there is only one large pool.... Food is ok, but variety is not great. Snack bar by pool is a good choice, (again limited menu: dogs, burgers, nachos, pizza, etc)as is the Pool area restauarant (el Pecatore) for lunch. (Good salads / seafood) Dinners in main Dining room are mediocre at best. Best bet is the Italian restaurant....well worth making the time to make a reservation. Excellent meals...ok wine. This is an ok hotel for families. The worst part of the hotel is the staff. They are not geared towards a welcoming or hospitable mannner. I don't know if its that they just don't like anyone who is not Mexican, or the fact that the management does not stress a friendly atmosphere. I did not get a hello, welcome, or even a 'thankyou-come again' upon check out. A very cold and maybe even unpleasant staff! The Hotel looks as if they are trying to cut corners. The lobby is very sparse, the bars are not well stocked, food choices are recycled throughout the week. Best tip: Avoid this hotel, avoid overcrowded and dirty Acapulco, and go to Playa or Puerto Viarta!

We arrived at the hotel before we could check in but they gave us our all inclusive wrist bands and towels for the pool without a problem. There were no surprises when we arrived, the price we paid was the price advertised. The food and drinks were good. There are multiple restaurants within the hotel with different menus and atmospheres. The private beach was small but nice and did not have beach vendors. The previous trip to Acapulco we stayed on the other side of the bay on a busy beach with lots of beach vendors. The hotel had kayaks and snorkel gear. There were areas and activities for kids and adults, it is a well organized place. It is more than a walk away from many of the night spots. They are easily reachable by a 3-4 minute taxi ride, but if you want to be right in the middle of the action try a place on the other side of the bay. If you are ok with taxis then this is definitely a great place.

The pool was okay if it was cleaned more...The food was not good at all...the service was not good as well....the entertainment was horrible...I would not recommend this hotel at all but the city it's self was every nice.

Although the service was very friendly, we found that to be the only satisfactory part. They had to change our room because of the sewage smell, however they had to show me three other rooms before i found one with no sewer smell. Our lunch consisted of Talapia. When we requested salmon or maui maui they never had it. There was only four or five other choices for lunch, mostly fish. Our dinner menu was not any better. There was no dial tone on our phone for four days and when my daughter called asking for us they said she never checked in. Hotel is very dated and we would not recommend this hotel at all.

I decided to take a last minute trip and get away for a few days and it was perfect. It was quiet and there were mostly families there, so no worries about people being obnoxious or loud or out of control. The staff was very friendly and my room was immaculate. The beach is very nice and the pools are great!
