The room was perfect. The balcony was amazing and the view of Mackinac island was even better. Very clean, and pleasant hotel. Breakfast was also amazing! Overall, great place to stay.

Exceptional breakfast bar. Friendly staff. Check in was easy. Rooms were clean but had an odor. Walls and floors are thin able to hear above us walking and the person next door turn the water on for a shower. Great balcony over looking a fire pit and the lake.

The room was clean but it had a musky wet smell. And a dehumidifier and that was loud . The pool and hot tub was great very clean and the water was warm in the pool. Over all was a nice stay.

For the cost of the room, it was very poor. The room needed to be updated in all aspects and carpets renewed. The room smelled musty. Nice breakfast and the breakfast attendant was very nice and hard working.

The room was always clean and ready for the next day. Laura at the front desk was very helpful when we first arrived because the extras that I had asked and called to confirm was not in their system. This lady made it all possible for an exciting and fun vacation. The breakfast was EXCELLENT!!

This hotel was possibly one of the cleaniest i have EVER stayed at and i am a travel softball and travel baseball mom so i stay at a lot of hotels. At least once a year my husband and i pick a random dream trip and go away together. This year was Mackinaw Island. Im so happy that we opted to stay in St Ignass instead of on the island. If you stay at the holiday inn make sure you head over to the sister hotel to eat and have drinks!! I wish the gal working the front desk when we checked in would have told us that these two hotels operated under the same owner. The Club had phenomenal bartenders and waitresses!! The crab cakes and ravioli are amazing snacks/Appetizers!! The 2nd night we had the fish and it was delicious!

Excellent staff on property! Lacy was amazing! Overall it was good, the pool was great. Breakfast was shut down by 9:30, and the rooms were very dated. Doors looked old, tvs were tiny, and the ac kept shutting off. Definitely not worth the price

Brought our 4 and 5 yr old boys here for a family vaca and trip to Mackinac Island. We had a nice big room with a jetted tub in it, view of the beach and island and easy access to the restaurant/bar on the property. Would return.

For $400 a night I would have liked to have a room that didn’t overlook the parking lot. Additionally the staff were incredibly rude at the continental breakfast. We come to this area every year and will be looking for a better option in the future.

Decent hotel for the price point, but the air conditioning units were inordinately loud. We all had trouble sleeping. And the people above us were super loud - floor didn’t block out their running around rooms, slamming doors, etc.

It was only for one day and we had our dog. It was a long hike through the lobby, elevator, and then the maze to get to our room. Glad we got the end unit with the balcony on the first floor since we had the dog, however we, use the outside to get in and out of the hotel. It was a hike. We were only there for one night and never used the pool. The breakfast was not it outstanding.

We enjoyed our stay overall, but a few cons before the pros: first of all we didn't get into the property we booked. We apparently were 2 seconds behind someone else who booked the exact same so we got bumped to the property next door; Breakers. It would have been nice to know this before arriving! The front desk staff were amazing! No issues there at all. When we got to our room we couldn't get any hot water so maintenance had to come up and check it out. Turns out the taps are backwards to what they say, so the cold was hot & hot was cold. This should either be fixed or labelled! Our bathroom floor did not look like it had been cleaned so I wiped up what I could. Our Air Con unit made a rattling noise that didn't prevent me from going to sleep initially, but when I woke up in the night it was hard to get back to sleep. I normally don't mind if housekeeping doesn't come every day, but we were only here 2 nights and paid WAY TOO MUCH for this room to not have it cleaned. We were here in June for 2 nights. Loved the area and did find our room comfy. The balcony was nice to have and had a great view. Nice extras like coffee always on and cold water available all the time!

We spent one night at this hotel to avoid traffic on the bridge. Hotel was located by the bridge near the bridge, and is a Holiday Inn Express so we chose to stay here. Room was ok, furniture and carpet has seen better days. Lake view from room was fantastic except the weather was not great when we were there. We had our dog with us, hotel was pet friendly and it made it easy for us.
