Noisy since the room’s windows are facing a street full of bars. Wish they mentioned that at Check-In so we could have a choice to change rooms.

We had an amazing stay. I am a paranormal investigator. We requested a particular room that is known for paranormal activity and the hotel was able to fill our request and we were happy to see it did not disappoint. Staff was very friendly and our room was clean and just what we needed.

Jasmine & Daniel were lovely. They made us feel very welcome. We would certainly stay here again.

Loved staying here. Loved the location and loved the history!

Run down, no hot water in the evening
Worst hotel we stayed at

Do NOT stay here. This hotel acts like it is a beautiful, historic landmark. It is old, run down, and flat out gross. I stayed here for a weekend and paid over $700 for two nights. The floor I was on had the horrific smell of raw sewage my entire stay. The room itself had no fridge and was extremely dark and felt old. There were two lamps in the entire room. You basically sat in the dark. The bathroom was nice enough yet the hot water barely worked. The breakfast was an absolute joke. Bread and cereal was just about all they offered. It was more continental BREAD than breakfast. Yes, the location is amazing. But whats the point of having a a great location if the place you're staying in is a dump? I would have rather stayed at much more affordable and clean hotel a few blocks away. The Canopy hotel was basically the same rate and offers a much cleaner, brighter, and overall more positive experience.
Please please do not be fooled by this hotel. It is not a place you want to close your eyes in. Trust me.

Excellent stay at an excellent hotel. The room had a couple small issues with the condition (minor flaws in the flooring and the old windows are hard to see out of as they're discolored.
That's the only thing keeping them from a 5 star review. Everything else from cost, location, and customer service were all top notch.
That is why this is our 4th stay at this hotel. Its a GREAT hotel.

Great location in a historic building. Our room was a bit warm and the building is old so there was no real way to get it cooler. Pillows were a little worn out but overall a wonderful stay. The staff was super helpful, the location was unbeatable and the lobby was well furnished/decorated. The bathroom was completely remodeled!

For the price, i expected much nicer rooms. Outdated and disappointing, took 25 minutes for the shower to warm up.

We have stayed at the Admiral Fell many times and this was the only time we were disappointed. The LPV flooring was cracked and chipped so you had to be very careful walking around barefoot. The bed was hard and lumpy, as were the pillows. The work desk in the room looked like it came off the curb on trash day. There was also no counter space in the bathroom, just a pedestal sink. As I mentioned this has not been our experience in the past, but this time comfort was not there. The area was sold out so no option to move. I would be very clear about what type of room you are expecting. We will.

Great location and super clean but the bed was too hard

The Admiral Fell Inn is an authentically historical property - right down to the bedding. Our room seemed to be in the midst of a remodel, but not quite finished.
No iron or board, towel bars, toilet tissue holder, closet rod - so hangers weren't necessary - or switch and outlet cover plates. There were USB outlets for charging, but no secure wifi. There was a coffee maker, no refrigerator. The selling point for us, a balcony space, was as per photo. The parapet walls are to tall to see over. The furniture is authentically weathered. The potted planting intended to separate our room from the next was dead, or barely living. Truthfully there was no separation. The balcony was shared. Drapery in the room did not cover the windows properly. It felt unsafe and non-private even inside. We did not see another guest though. Booking is done off-site through a group that is not familiar with the property. Be sure to call the hotel manager with questions. Ask about every detail - for example, there is no parking on site. The front entry has 4 concrete stairs right up to the door. No bellman. There is parking on a one way side street, if you can find any, for ADA access. Drag your bags in there. Park in a garage at least 4 blocks away. No "frills". Staff was kind.

**Scathing Review of Admiral Fell Inn**
My recent experience at the Admiral Fell Inn was nothing short of a nightmare. After a grueling 16-hour flight, my friend and I arrived, exhausted and ready to check into our pre-paid balcony suite. However, what followed was an ordeal that left us stranded.
The front desk staff demanded a $50 deposit but refused my Apple Pay, insisting on a physical card. Despite having a virtual card that the first staff member claimed was acceptable, the second staff member dismissed us with hostility, refusing to help. It felt as if we were an inconvenience rather than valued guests.
Adding to our frustration, we were denied restroom access while others were allowed in. After an hour of moving funds around—incurring fees and stress—we found ourselves unable to check in. With no money left for an Uber or another hotel, we were forced to sleep on the streets of Baltimore, where we faced harassment and robbery.
The Admiral Fell Inn not only failed to provide basic services but also placed us in a vulnerable situation. The staff’s lack of empathy and professionalism was astonishing. I urge anyone considering this hotel to think twice. Choose a place that values its guests—this one is not worth your time or money.

No hot water. Very old. Huge noises

Was going through renovations and there was issues seen everywhere. Staff was courteous. No room upgrade. Police helicopter was roaming the street one night. We didn't have a mini fridge though our friends room did. Hot water took forever to get through to sink and shower. Never were given information that the hotel was going through some renovations, would not recommend

The location is great but it's the phenomenal staff who take this hotel to the next level, they are so kind, knowledgable and polite - a truly wonderful elevation to an already lovely experience.

This property has gone downhill. I used to live staying here. Maybe the new competition in the Fells point area is too much for them to compete with.
There was no hot water in my room. The sink clogged. The sheets and comforter were very old and dingy.
The tv got poor reception and only had a few channels. Although they do offer free HBO. No PPV or streaming though.
Great location but there are much nicer places to stay. Sad. Again, I used to love this hotel.
The free continental breakfast is a joke.

Pet friendly means that the dog down the hall can bark all morning starting before 6am.

We ended up not staying at the hotel and asking for a refund. The property was dirty as there was a lot of construction going on inside the hotel, the front desk worker didn’t know how to prepare the room keys so she sent us upstairs three different times with room keys that didn’t work. When we finally got a room it was not the room we had reserved and it was not clean and some of the furniture was broken. At that point we let the receptionist know that we wouldn’t be staying at that hotel and left.

Be aware there is some construction in the hotel during the day. We paid extra to check in at 1pm to get a little rest, but there was construction on the other side of the wall. We ended up waiting over an hour on another room. In the end we should not have paid for early check in. The guy at the desk from 6am-pm daily was very friendly and so was the head house keeper.

The hotel we originally booked was unavailable and this one was one of Expedia's suggested alternatives. We stayed for two nights. The location in Fell’s Point is great and safe, you can walk or take a water taxi to get to all the main sights around the harbor. Breakfast ($9.95 per night) was not that good. The pictures on Expedia show a scope that is far from the reality offered. In addition, the rooms on several floors were being completely renovated during our stay. This led to inconveniences. For example, one day the water was turned off from 9 to 10 a.m. as announced.

The room we were initially given had a window that wouldn’t shut. We were moved to another room which was mostly to our satisfaction, but the wi-fi service was not very good. The hotel is nice and we liked the colonial feel, but the hallway was a bit of a mess due to ongoing renovations.

The service was amazing even though the hotel/room had little to no AC for the first 3-4 hours of our stay.

I read the reviews previously and was prepared for the construction that the hotel was going under and understood it was being updated. With that being said, this was NOT a good experience! I had a whirlpool tub which was not clean and could of used a good bleaching, even the stopper was a light brown from being old, I would not even venture to take a bath in that tub but the mat was new so I ventured to use the shower.. the handle for the hot size turned all the way around, when switching from the tub to the shower, half the water was still coming out of the tub spout and half was coming out of the shower head and it was extremely hot and could not change the temperature. Woke up in the morning and found a huge water puddle on the floor coming from a leak that was coming from above. I did make the front desk aware of the issues and just got a lame apology and they said they will make someone aware. Definitely not worth the money paid for the room and the only good thing I can say is the location and convenience of it being in the heart of Fells Point. I would never stay here again and would advise others to find somewhere else.

This is a quaint hotel — old timey with four poster beds. The staff were all lovely welcoming people and there was an amazing restaurant very nearby. It’s right off a pier. We loved it.

It was, well, fine. We stayed one night, and it was decent price and right in the middle of Fells Point. The bathroom was recently upgraded. But... Well...It was old, but not in an antique way. Sure, some antique charm throughout. But much of the hotel just seemed old. Dirty floors, sloppy repairs, very basic sheets... Not even a comforter, which was weird. Thin walls, uncomfortable bed. The mattress was very old... Again, not antique. Worn. Again, served its purpose, and we spent most of our time out in Fells Point. Stay here for the location for sure... But not the digs.

Check in was way too long , once in the room 1 pillow case was yellow, looked like they never swept the floor, bathroom looked original as built years ago, shower was dirty and would not stop dripping, while getting out of the shower some kind of bug about an inch and a half long ran under the door, save yourself some money and look elsewhere !

Funky and pretty cool boutique hotel. Clean and replace items only if requested. Nice enough staff. No snacks or soda machines. 2 miles from Camden Yards. Walkable.
