There was a severe problem with accessing a new reservation. The management at Ellis Island was not flexible at all when we needed to change our reservation to another date in order to see family members. We recently lost our Nephew and we needed to make changes. Hotels.com Expedia did their best to try to contact Ellis Island so we can make a no fee reservation change. Island was not flexible. We went ahead and stayed the night. We made the original reservation however, while we were there, Service was very satisfactory and the state was satisfactory. Would I stay here again? Yes, but I would definitely want to preview and make sure that I didn’t need to cancel or change my reservation with them. They were quite cold about it.

We enjoyed how close the walk was to the strip , the hot tub wasn't working and the pool was a little dirty. Overall it wasn't a bad experience.

This is always a good low key out of the way place to stay. I actually like it for the food specials and the Pizza place is pretty good for thin crust.

I just slept for the night from driving and couldn't find anything negative. Thus, 4 stars.

Inexpensive, clean, and best of all: non-smoking!! It is also very close to the Strip. It was hard to beat the combination of affordability, cleanliness, location, and non-smoking that seems to be actually enforced. Only the casino smelled badly of smoke. Unfortunately, all the restaurants but one are open to the casino, which though small was really noisy compared to casinos elsewhere. It made dining unpleasant. But food is not this hotel's strong point; location is. The only decent food venue at the hotel is the Front Yard, which is quiet (because it has doors separating it from the casino) and has pretty good food. But don't eat at the bar: there is no room for a plate of food because of the slot machines embedded at the counter at every seat. There are lots of food venues nearby, so enjoy the Ellis Island hotel for what it is and eat elsewhere.

Can't beat the price for 2 beds, expectations were met for the price

Overall a good hotel, especially for the price point. Good off strip location, close to Horseshoe for the wsop. Enough food and bar options, easy parking. Nothing fancy but recommended for a no-frills stay.
