Incompetent staff overcharged by $200 and refuse to release funds until I check out. There appears to be blood on the curtains and mold on the shower head! Find a better hotel in the area where they have actual people and not kiosks. You've been warned... Edited 10/27/24..... So after I wrote the initial review with the price gouging the plot thickens. The hotel has roofers working that blew debris all over the vehicles parked. The common sense to notify or block off the area apparently slipped past the staff! Apparently while I was resting in the hotel the roofers knocked a roof tile off and it struck my vehicle. I notified the people in the kiosk (remember there is no management on site.) and was told that someone would be here on Sunday morning to discuss the matter with me. I stayed on the property all day waiting for this manager to show up and nobody came. But someone did fix the roof tile that fell. Thank God I have pictures or these clowns would outright deny anything happened! This facility has gone from incompetent to downright criminal. I have attempted several times to contact the property by phone and cannot get an answer from anyone. STAY AWAY FROM HERE! I cannot stress this enough. Final Chapter this horrendous weekend. At 45 minutes before check out somebody claiming to be the manager finally contacted me. I was notified that there are no cameras on the property despite photo evidence to the contrary, and that they cannot prove that any damage happens from

The Baymont was a very comfortable stay. They've remodeled the interior with a modern look. The room was well furnished, had comfortable beds, and I had a patio on the pool deck. As a resident of the area, and staying here because of hurricane damage, I can tell you that it's conveniently located to much of the Bonita Springs offerings. Some other info: 1. The front desk is unstaffed. There's a kiosk that connects you to a video call center in India (presumed). It worked well, and the guy on the other end was friendly and efficient. The kiosk dispenses the room key, scans your license, etc. 2. They have a complementary breakfast, but it's pretty basic. Bread/muffins, cereal, and the standard waffle machine. Cold items included hard boiled eggs and yogurt.

This was a virtual check-in process. After I unloaded the car and the check-in was almost complete. The virtual attendant advised us that the TV's don't work in the hotel. They offered a discount or to move to another hotel after the car was unloaded in the rain. I took the discount thinking I could use the wi-fi to see where the hurricane was. We unpacked and I went to check and the wife didn't work. I couldn't even hotspot. I went to ask ask someone about this but the two workers I found didn't speak english. My 20% discount has not been applied and still waiting on the 100.00 dollars they applied to my credit card for incidentals as they stated. We didn't use incidentals and we left a day early due to the storm. The room was clean and comfortable.

Internet wasn't all that good / up and down like a toilet seat. Breakfast was above average/ kitchen was kept clean and food never ran out. Room cleanliness was above average and attendants were always available when needed. Still waiting for room damage deposit.

I am not a fan of the new trend of having a virtual agent check me in and out - a screen within someone from across the globe may be cheaper and it's not as comfortable as interacting with a real person. It just screams CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP to me. I will pay more to have the "luxury" of a real person watching the front door in the future. Who is watching the lobby if there was an emergency or a break in? Tourists are at risk and this is really poor stewardship of the establishment.

I liked that the room was well maintained and the housekeeping staff takes the extra mile to decorate with what they can every consecutive night that I stayed. The check in process was not personable as it is through virtual check in. When I needed help, it took a while for a human staff to come to the front desk. To add, the staff that is on does not speak English and had to call another individual to communicate with me. I do appreciate the offering of breakfast every morning, but it is subpar at best. The only protein source is cold hard boiled eggs and low-fat yogurt. The rest is carbs. More variety of protein sources and less of breads is recommended. Otherwise, it was an inexpensive stay over 5 nights. Would stay again for long-term stays.

This was a last minute stay and it did not disappoint. The hotel was very clean. Check in was by kiosk but was very efficient. Hotel was very clean! I would definitely stay again and recommend this hotel.

The staff is amazing the place is very very clean the cleaning staff is very responsive rooms are cleaned daily which is amazing the pool is awesome as well it's quite place the Internet is very snappy fastest Internet I've seen at a hotel so far and lets not forget the breakfast every morning which is a HUGE plus I give this place 100/100 and definitely recommend this place

The staff that was on the property were great. Even with a language barrier, they went above and beyond to help. The property is very clean. Housekeeping staff work very hard. The phone in our room didn't work, so I was unable to dial "0" for assistance. The check-in process is weird. That should be noted when people are making reservation.

The room was lovely, very spacious and clean. We had a nice little patio and could see our bikes parked directly in front of our room. The pool was awesome - large and very clean. Lots of chairs as well.

For the past ten years my family and I are always staying here for Mother's day weekend. We also come here for the summer. We've only missed one year because of the hurricane. This is our favorite place to stay. I've stay at other hotels in the area but they were not as good as Baymont. I totally recommend this hotel 100%. it provides everything you need for your stay. Very clean and comfortable.

The room was excellent. Clean and nice. The TV remote didnt work. They fixed it quickly. That was fine. I dont like the virtual check in kisok. There's only one and it can be a long wait at peak check in times. There is no staff at the front desk, at all. 3.5 of out 5. 4 5 out of 5 if they had staff working there. Not a guy on a screen half way around the world

The property is great. The hotel was nice. I don't usually sleep well in hotels. The room was great. The reason for my not so happy review was the check in. Not a real.person. it's a screen of someone overseas. I did have a. Issue with my room. I had a terrible time finding someone who spoke english to help.

Had trouble with the computer printing out my boarding pass and no help was available. There was no one at the front desk as this is all on computer at the Baymont you talk to someone on video. When I was on the video and I asked for help with the printer I was told by the computer, someone would come to assist me, but they never came to help with the printer. I would never again go to a Baymont that has an automated check in with a video. FaceTime check-in. I like a human at the front desk.

The check in process was a total nightmare. Took us an hour to get our room that was already paid for because they can’t hire an actual person for the front desk, just someone on a screen and many parties to check in ahead of us. The stay was fine other than this and if I had known this was how to check in I would not have booked here.

Not a fan of the check in kiosk. I guess I’m one of those old people who prefer a real live person. Bed was too hard for my taste but the room was clean. In fact the only staff I saw were the cleaners. No other actual humans apparently work there. But the price was very reasonable.
