The hotel lacked sufficient staff. Our room was not ready until after 5pm. Rooms are small and very outdated and dirty. Pull out couch was very uncomfortable.

Stay was fine. Upstairs guests were rude and made noise for 2 1/2 hours. It was a private residence so there was nothing we could do. The ceiling fan didn’t work and the room smelled disturbing.

For a $300 /night resort, one expects top notch service and an immaculate room. You will not get this at Aston IOB. You will have a daily $29/resort fee and still need to pay $30 to have someone come service you with towels/remove trash/change sheets/clean room. YOU take your dirty towels to lobby and exchange your towels if you don’t want to be charged $30. Then what is the $29/day “resort fee” for? Rooms are musty and smell of mold. Laundry room had a piece of wood on the window, window louvres broke/missing, old rusty washers/dryers ($2.50 wash/$2.00 dry). During our stay there was a power outage. This “resort” does NOT have a backup generator nor solar power. While the grounds are beautiful, you may not be able to enjoy a peaceful, restful, relaxing time on your lanai because someone is blowing leaves constantly. Thus, the noise and smell of fumes will prevent you from enjoying the lanai. Although the location is walkable to Coconut Marketplace which makes Aston IOB convenient, it most definitely is not worth the nightly room rate and daily resort fee. Do you work tremendously hard all year and look forward to an amazing vacation? If so, do yourself a favor…choose another “resort”.

The bed was hard and kinda lumpy. The pillows on the beds smelled (like sweat or urine) and were generally not good. Are they ever washed/sanitized? …not the pillow cases …the actual pillow. Just gross if they are not cleaned weekly.

We liked the location and the proximity to the ocean. Would be nice if they rented or had beach chairs and boogie boards for rent. TV didn’t work and the laundry keys were limited and rare so we had to wait a day to do laundry.

Great location and comfortable stay with pool at the beach. Very close to shopping and dining at the Coconut Shopping center. We used the pool and hot tub almost everyday of vacation. Very relaxing spot.

When checking in they sent me to a room that the key did not work on the 3rd floor. Went back down to get a key that works. After entering the room, the room wasn't clean. Went back down. Now they said they sent me to the wrong room. Went back up to get my stuff, went back down and walked across the yard and back up to the 3rd floor of another building. Now after settling in the TV doesn't work. After 3 more phone calls to the front desk and an hour later they say they can put me in another room in the same building and floor but I'd have to go back down to get the key. And on top of that, Peggy said there's no guarantee that the TV in that room works. That is the poorest service I have ever encountered.

Being right on the water is a big plus. However, the rooms are extremely dated. I would have to say the thing that bothered us the most was the constant yard work being done. It was loud and they were out there everyday, you couldn't get away from the noise of the lawn mowers and leaf blowers. But, the most concerning thing was they were spraying the plants and they also sprayed the screen of our unit with I can only assume bug spray there were droplets on our screen and windows and on the outside furniture. I have to assume it was most likely roundup or something similar. I stay away from all that and never use it and to be exposed to it on vacation very much concerned us.

Great location, right on the beach. Loved having a balcony with a view of the ocean. Lots of restaurants and shops within walking distance. Room was not great: terrible bed, low quality sheets, blankets, pillows, and bath towels. Coffee maker and TV worked sometimes but not other times. Some electrical outlets in the room didn't work. Housekeeping only came to the room once during a weeklong stay. This place is a weird timeshare/condo/hotel situation so maybe other rooms are better. Pool and hot tub were nice but the front desk didn't have towels half the time.

Roving security at night was great to see daily and all three guards were kind and professional. All of the front desk staff was amazing and always great to interact with. Great food nearby, Donny V's pizza is a must visit! I will be rebooking another stay here soon!

Wasn't able to check til almost 5:00 oclock. Ocean view was nice, room needs updating, shower pressure was horrible and the TV was problem. Close to the airport which was a plus. Parking was easy in & out. They did charge a reaort fee at the time of check in.

Uncomfortable stay. But Peggy at the front desk was very welcoming and sweet. We were given a double bed even though we booked a queen bed once we got to the room there was a bad leak from the fridge. They said it is common and we had to pick up towels from the front desk to mop it up. The beds are very uncomfortable and the room felt dirty and old. Bring your own beach and pool towels!

Nice hotel, but I was expecting more for $250 a night. I was angry that they wouldn't switch rooms for me, so I got STUCK on the ground floor. They inconsiderate people above me decided to move furniture around at 1130.at night until midnight I got about 3 hours of sleep because it was so noisy. Will not be back.

Great unit. Clear directions given for accessing the unit. Very clean, close to exit and shopping. Quiet and safe location. Great hosts for providing starter supplies. :)
