This is just my 2nd trip ever to Honolulu. My last visit was in 1976 and I also stayed at the Hyatt Regency Waikiki that time. This trip brought back great memories and I was so happy to be back and enjoyed my stay very much!!! I was very happy to see that the hotel is still great!!! On the not so good side.....the parking for hotel guests was very expensive, hard to find open spaces, very narrow and hard to maneuver to be able to park properly.....

The aloha spirit lives at the Hyatt Waikiki from the time we checked in until our departure.
The room accommodations modern and clean. Loved the hot tub, which culminated a very restful and relaxing stay.
We will be back, possibly for more than a night.

Staff was amazing and very helpful. The location of the hotel was the best and we had easy access to shops, food and the beach. I wouldn't stay anywhere else!

The room was run down and smelled of mold. Awful. Paid a fortune for an ocean view and woke up feeling sick. Requesting a refund. Do not book. Not worth the $500 I paid to upgrade. Poor experience and room was completely falling apart. Refund please. Wet and moldy walls.

Excellent location.
Room was very clean with some nice thought about features - like water bottles, etc.
Getting in and out of the hotel was a bit of a maze, as the floors are a bit odd and elevators don't go all the way down to street level!
I don't really think that the Resort Fee can be legitimately charged. The main pool was cold. Hot tub wayyyy to busy. Towels limited, or charged $25. Guests noisy, even at 3am. The breakfast at $45 is rip off, and was poor value......even the evening buffet at $85 was terrible value for money

A few hiccups with my card but the front desk was so helpful and even comped a few things to make up for issues on their end. Will definitely be staying here again. Beautiful area. Close to everything that I wanted to do with my toddler.

Lovely beach front hotel. gorgeous views. We loved the shopping and dining on the hotel property. Loved the pool grill.

Staffs aren’t friendly. Rooms were okay, it’s too expensive for an outdated room.

The rooms are spacious, needed space for 3 teenagers… beautiful view, high floor, comfortable beds!!! Everyone was super friendly. Fast service, plenty of towels!!!!! Only reason not 5 stars, the hotel is very large, can get lost easy. But that’s literally the only thing. Would def recommend 100%.

The jacuzzi was old and the jets in the jacuzzi were weak. Kids were allowed in the pool and jacuzzi all hours of the night which made it hard to relax. Other than that the place was nice.

The parking is very inconvenient. I’m handicapped and I to park across the street and pray that you find a decent parking space, while the first five floors are for valet parking only. You enter the property find ground level, walk to the other end to the elevator to go to the 2nd floor to check in, then you have to walk to the other side to get the elevator to get to your room. The view and room was beautiful - but parking and the elevators suck.

The location is very nice, basically across the street from the Waikiki beach. There are lots of places to shop and many restaurants. I was very disappointed with the tiny hotel pool because that would have also been a nice option. All of the staff we encountered were extremely nice and helpful.

The only amenities are coconut scented shampoo, treatment, and body cream. If you don't tell me, you won't bring me a bathrobe, and it's a pity that you won't be in the room every day.
Other than that, I was able to spend my time comfortably.

Great location right across the beach. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean. Unlimited clean towels service. You can also borrow beach chairs and toys from the hotel.

Staff were rude and did not communicate for over 48 hrs that our bag had arrived from the airport. Staff were short in regards to allowing us to use robes due to our lost luggage and were not polite due to late check in

We stayed here 2 years ago it was great. Restuarants change to 84.00 each all you can eat But took away the really good food. We rebooked because of the food and convience. House keeping was very poor no one vacuumed they didn't clean the room or the bathrooms unless you left them directions on paper. My wife who was a house keeper said don't tip they can't clean properly the mirror was dirty for 3 days and know one cleaned it. We ask to have the bedding changed and there was either blood or lipstick on the pillow caseafter they changed it, again not sure what laundry gets done. Next time when we go back to Hawaii we will stay at a different Hotel 1 star only.

Decent hotel but too many kids, the pool is far too small for a hotel this size. Area is quite busy and crowded. Across from beach which is convenient but also mobbed.

Our washroom had mold on the ceiling outdated hotel and super expensive. You don’t get what you pay for basically.

Hotel clean, staff was very friendly. Elevators ran extremely slow, leave yourself adequate time to catch ubers, get to reservations, etc. Would stay there again for sure.

Stayed here the night before our cruise. Amazing location in the heart to Waikiki, could see Diamond Head from our balcony! The seafood buffet was amazing; great way to start our trip!

The location is great. Walking distance to many shops and restaurants. The property is clean but the rooms are dated and not very welcoming. The elevator takes a long time especially during the busy morning hours.
