My one-night holiday stay was comfortable and relaxing in the King Superior Room with the nice gas fireplace.
This was indeed a great place to de-stress from the holiday mayhem. (smile). Having a winter lakeview while having breakfast is always a great treat!

We booked this place for a one-night stay to check out the Berkshires. This was pretty much centrally located from everything we wanted to visit. We chose this place for the country feel rather than the big city type hotels. The place was a little outdated but had the more of a home feel. There is some updating due there, but it wasn't a disappointment. We will book again when we visit the area to go hiking. Plus, the lake view was ok, and the water looked very clean. I will say this is an excellent spot if you're an outdoor person for fishing. Kayaking etc.

The room and property was clean and the staff was accommodating and friendly. In the morning we had a very nice breakfast with a great view of the lake. There is a restaurant on the premises that served Indian cuisine. We did not have enough time to have dinner there but it did smell good.

Nice little boutique motel type property in the Bekshires. Very, very dated decor and style. 1970's decor. Room was nice with jet tub and fireplace. Not too many amenities. No pool. Ok place to stay. The front desk staff is very helpful, knowledgeable and kind. Overall enjoyed our stay.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were large and beds comfortable and very clean. Only drawback was our rooms were on the second floor with no elevator and one lady in our party had difficulty climbing stairs.

Although the property is in a great location for concert venue access, it is dated, dark, and service spotty. Certainly not worth the price.

The lake view was the best part. Bed was very comfortable as was stated in other reviews. We had no issues with noise. The property was not the most modern but I wasn’t looking for modern, I came from NYC for a “country” getaway. We loved the balcony and the breakfast.

We enjoyed several things about our stay at the Black Swan Inn. The onsite Indian cuisine restaurant Mint was delicious and the smell of the spices through the property was lovely. We had a great time taking the kayaks out on Lake Laurel. The view was beautiful. The location was perfect for our trip. We were not familiar with the area and this was a great launching spot for our day trips. It was a really nice stay.

The Black Swan was the best deal for the area, though I still found it on the expensive side. The rooms are clean and the porch is a plus. The view of the pond was also nice. The hotel itself could use a bit of an update. It does have wifi but it’s not a very strong signal and we had no Verizon Cell Service.
The Indian restaurant attached to the Hotel was an awesome surprise to the point that we went there twice.

This is our go-to place to stay when we go skiing in Mass. It is clean, the staff is always accommodating and we love the Indian Restaurant! Breakfast is good and coffee, tea and hot chocolate at all hours is great too! Definitely recommend!

My friend & I enjoyed two days here & loved the setting overlooking the lake where we were able to relax. We slept well because the inn is quiet & the beds are comfortable. The room was clean. The location is excellent for activities in Lenox. We enjoyed a delicious dinner of Indian food at the on site restaurant with a view of the lake. I’ll be back to stay here, for sure!

Dull decor-rust and brown! Worn out dark wood furniture. Thin ceilings- footsteps from floor above were noisy. No hot water one morning (told something needed to be reset). Mediocre breakfast offerings. Noisy air conditioning unit.

Pleasant stay. Room with lakeside balcony quiet & relaxing. Great location, easy ride to Tanglewood & town of Lee. On site restaurant was great. Dog friendly added plus. Overall wonderful experience, would def stay again!

Beautiful view of the lake, if you get a room with the view, also you can rent a boat, or drive to the nearby beach.
Very friendly greeting/check in staff. They keep it pretty clean, but it looks like this hotel has not been updated since the 70th.
Breakfast area is very nice, with a large window facing the lake, but the food is from a supermarket shelf, some cut into pieces. Coffee was great though.
Convenient location to stay if you're going to Tanglewood.

A lot to like here, a lot that needs improvement. The service is often super-friendly, the ambience of the lake is excellent, the Indian restaurant on-site is terrific. This wants to be a luxury hotel, though, and the breakfast is very ordinary, the gym is woefully out of date (not even water refills) and the shower in the room was absurdly old, the drains did not work. There's a luxury hotel in here, it just requires more from the owner. As-is, you're better off staying at one of the newer chains in town. I hope these easily fixable changes happen, though! It's a fun property and can get there.

The lakeside location made for a special stay. My wife and I rented the pontoon boat and took a cruise around the lake. Just beautiful.

My family stayed here for two nights. We enjoyed paddle boarding on the lake and just having a drink lake side. Comfy and cozy beds.

Was very pleased with everything about this property. The room was large, comfortable and quiet, with firm, clean bedding. The lake view was beautiful, with multiple geese families. There is a good dining option, and the complimentary breakfast was excellent, with a varied selection in a large, attractive room facing the lake. Staff was friendly and helpful, identifying a more convenient room due to mobility issues. Highly recommend.
