Great location if you don’t mind to walk. Excellent hotel. Number of cafes near by for great breakfast and coffee. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

Property is in good overall condition. One disappointment is therr is no any welcome water bottle included in the stay! So make sure you have your bottle for start as shops are closed around 9pm if you arriving later. Location of the property is in walkable distance to public transport links

Great location-hotel is located in close proximity to the Metro so you can easily navigate your way throughout the city. Hotel was clean, staff was pleasant, plenty of dining options within walking distance.

Really nice rooms and great breakfast buffet. Only complaint is room doors close very loudly so you can hear doors slamming in the hallway. Nice bath and beds. Very nice staff.

This is really a 3.5 hotel and striving to be a 4 star hotel, location is great and one side of the hotel is renovated but the other half is not! Make sure you request the new rooms!

we stayed at HOTEL GRAN VERSALLES for the first time and were very pleased. the hotel is very well situated near ALONSO MARTINEZ tube station (take the santa barbara exit and it's a 2min walk) in a quiet little avenue. the staff were very friendly, and we got an upgrade as our room wasn't ready yet. the breakfast was euros 11.50 per person and you got everything you needed for a perfect start into the day, omelette, juices, water galore, fruits, vegetables, cheese and ham, jam and a vast array of bread and sweet nibbles. THE PRADO and the THYSSEN COLLECTION are only a few tube stations away and there is no shortage of nice little cafes and restaurants around- do go to have dinner at SANTANDERS, it's worth it. thanks for an unforgettable stay, we'll definitely come back! *SG&SF*

We stayed here 3 days in September 2023. Hotel was great and location was good very near to metro station for easy access to all Madrid has to offer. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful ! Breakfast was very good as well !

A very small, dark room with only a window to an internal space. No tea or coffee making facilities. Tiny TV with limited channels. For a weekend rate of 400 Euros per night it is very expensive for what you get.

Reception staff were helpful and friendly. If you stay at this hotel, be aware that one portion of the hotel, there are 15 marble steps that you have to haul your luggage up to get to the elevator on Floor zero. We were not aware of this and no offer of a bell hop. The other part of the hotel has elevators at reception level, so hope you can get a room on that side! Also no elevator down to the breakfast buffet so we saw people carrying strollers down and up. The room was lovely and clean. The hotel was very close to the Metro, a lovely plaza with many restaurants and shopping. The buffet had a wide variety of breakfast and lunch food. Coffee machine coffee was ok, not great. Lobby is nicely decorated, great bathroom and comfortable seating. We felt it was worth the price.

Never go again to this hotel. Expensive, unfriendly staff. Pay a little bit more go to a proper hotel.... When you are paying not so much (230euros) in an expensive city in a very old hotel you minimum expect good service. Service here is NOT good

The hotel was everything we expected: efficient and pleasant staff, clean and modern facilities and all the main things we needed working as we wanted. Good location very close to a Metro station but nevertheless quiet. Pleasant room with comfortable beds. Excellent walk-in shower. Minor gripes: No facial tissues or coffee-making facilities are provided and the hairdryer was difficult to operate. Breakfast (the only meal we had at the hotel) was fine for the price.

The only reason why I gave 4 starts in the condition is only because the bed mattress was extremely hard like sleeping on top of a board.
