Wonderful hotel and great staff. Its my go to when i visit Jax Beach

It started out rough, but if you can get past the lack of housekeeping and overall service, the location and live music more than make up for it. The pool was clean. The guys make awesome drinks at the bar if you like them strong. Stick with the ladies if you’re a lightweight. Overall, I’d return here—just bring some decent coffee and enjoy paradise.

Great location directly on the beach. Nice outdoor pool and little beach bar. Great customer service. Plenty of parking. Walking distance to many restaurants. Dryer was briken when we were there but laundry mat was only 1 mile away.

Eric at the front desk was amazing. He upgraded our room to ocean view. The hotel was incredible. Great breakfast.

The front desk staff and housekeeping are not friendly and if you ask for anything—you are most certainly being ‘extra.’ It’s an old hotel, crumbling concrete on the outside, years of repainted hunks of caulk on the inside. The bar staff and food was excellent. Parking is tight, leave the big trucks at home —$19/day not included in price (common, not a biggy). If this hotel wasn’t on one of the most beautiful beaches in America, I would definitely not stay here again. Ah, but the location. Two stars for hotel (food and drinks), 5-star overall vacation.

Good beach front location. Older hotel with dirty carpets and poor room maintenance. Broken hinges on closet door. Missing drawer. Dated mismatched decor.

The hotel was very welcoming and the best part was the beach right behind the hotel. It was incredible, you can rent chairs, umbrellas, paddle boards and more! Great area and you can walk to Cookies and Creme for a sweet treat! Def would stay again.

The staff here is very accommodating. We wanted a room with a balcony and paid for one. We got to the room unpacked and headed to the balcony to find the door wouldn’t open. It was screwed shut. I called downstairs and was told that I should have been made aware of the issue and offered me another room with a balcony. I was happy they had another room but had to repack to unpack a second time.
Also, I think the rugs in the hallways need to be replaced. There’s the same odor on several floors, like body odors.

The hotel was a great place for families with young children, however we are not that. For us there were too many kids and you could not even get in the pool. Everyone was pleasant and the even the kids were well behaved.

Very accommodating! We checked in to our ocean front room , it was blocked by several palm trees and on 2nd floor. Carole was very clear that there wasn’t any other rooms available and that tomorrow we could move to another room. Carole moved us to the 7th floor ocean front. Beautiful view each morning with a sunrise that was prettier each day. They made sure we were happy and got what we paid for.

The Hotel was clean and comfortable and the swimming pool and restaurant area on the beach was great. Breakfast was substantial and there was coffee and tea available all day. For great r&r, this is the place. Loved it!

The whole experience was perfect. We stayed after our cruise and arrived at the hotel around 9:30 am. The front desk welcomed us, held our luggage and let us access the beach and pool for the day even though check in was 4 pm. The room was clean and very large with easy access to the beach, pool and bar.

We really enjoy Hampton inn Jacksonville Beach spot. The ocean view is so great! This is our second time coming here. And we will be back. The restaurant onsite is really good too. We have had many meals there. Ask for a rum runner--yum!

We’ve been coming and staying here for about 5 years now and we love it. Always a good time, the pool is one of our kids favorite spots.

We were at the hotel for just one night prior to a cruise, but we flew in in the morning. We were able to check in early, as soon as we arrived. We enjoyed a delicious lunch at the patio bar/restaurant and had an amazing waitress. We then enjoyed the beautiful beach for the afternoon. Beach chairs and umbrellas were available for a typical charge. We were for to our room, and all of us found the beds extremely comfortable. Everything was spotlessly clean. The breakfast in the morning was great! We ate poolside. Our departure was delayed, and again the staff was so accommodating, allowing us to stay after the usual checkout time. We were able to enjoy the pool and hot tub and beautiful Jacksonville weather.

The hotel was located on the beach, had a partial beach view but loved sitting on the balcony. The hotel was extremely clean. Hotel staff very friendly and wanted to guarantee a great experience. Breakfast was good. The beds were comfy. My only complaint is the towels need fabric softener.

Firstly the bed was unbelievable comfortable and I didn’t want to get up. Slept so well! Need to find out the mattress so we can buy one. The suite was so spacious and perfect for relaxing and getting ready for family wedding.
The carpets in hotel could have been better but overall we really loved our stay!! The complimentary parking and the coffee were also really great!
Will definitely stay again and highly recommend!

This location is an amazing beach front property. The staff was very friendly throughout my stay. This location felt like a resort. The pool area is large with a water fall design and seperate hot tub. Hot buffet breakfast every morning, ocean front bar and indoor restaurant. Coffee in lobby 24/7. There was plenty of parking (combined on either side of building and across the street). Room key required for parking which prevents outside visitors from taking spots. Our room was clean & spacious with a great view of the beach. This location is definitely on my favorites list! I highly recommend.

Everyone that I talked to was nice the only complaint that I have is that they were supposed to clean my room everyday and didn’t the whole stay.

We stayed for 4 nights and enjoy our stay. The pool is fantastic, just as pictures show. The carpet in our room could use a good cleaning. The air conditioner was either running and cold or off and muggy. There was no in between which made it uncomfortable at times. The breakfast was great and had a good variety!

Great location, staff were super friendly and helpful. It was very busy with Spring Break going on but the only issues were running out of pool towels, people saving their pool chairs all day by leaving their stuff on them and then maybe coming back hours later, and the bed not being what i am used too. Other then those hiccups we had a great time. The room bathroom could use a redo but we had a marvelous view from our window!

Hotel was great location. The house keeping wasn't so much. Stayed 4 nights had to call to get towels daily and had to take own trash out.

Customer service was terrible. Felt mistreated by the front staffs during the evening. They tried to say I couldn’t check in because they thought I looked too young. They were incompetent and did not know how to read a drivers license to identify my real age which is 36. Also gave a disgusting attitude and gave no eye contact which made it seem a racist. While the rooms were nice, I just wanted to leave because of their bad service.

We loved the Oceanfront - Balcony room. The pool and the hot tub were amazing! The breakfast & bar food was really good as well. We enjoyed our mini vacation here at Jacksonville Beach
