We booked due to previously good experiences with the Novotel brand. The hotel is excellent, there is a good pool, parking and loads of charging points for electric vehicles. The rooms are good. Our only problem was the service from the restaurant staff which slightly spoilt our stay. Having booked for 2 adults and 2 children on a half board basis in the restaurant we found out this didn't include the children at this point. Not a huge problem on its own but a surprise. There was a buffet starter option and 3 main courses on offer which were great, however my daughter aged 13 was disappointed she had to have this and wasn't allowed to order from the children menu which my 11 year old son was pleased to order from. She is 13 so arguably this is understandable but it was disappointing for her to have to wait (with the adults) over an hour for her main course to arrive whilst the children course arrived for the 11 year old almost immediately. In isolation none of these things would have been a big factor if it not for the fact we were ignored by the significant number of staff in the restaurant for long periods of time who seemed to find other things to occupy themselves with. Another couple we spoke to who joined later were having smiler issues with the service. There seemed no-one appropriate to speak to in the evening so we spoke to the reception staff on check out, the lady merely smiled at us and again offered no apology.

Stayed on way down to Dordogne. Easy to find. Free parking. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean room. Excellent food in the restaurant. Breakfast highly recommended. Would definitely return if passing

Very convenient for AutoRoute 71, en route back from Spain. Not beautiful, but looks newly refurbished inside. Bar and restaurant on site. Rooms standard but fine for overnight stay. Does what it says on the tin!

Refugee house next door fighting at night and not good for children to see. Staff friendly, rooms semi refurbished, but very hot and air con useless. Sheets a bit like sand paper too. Breakfast good and pool warm but hostile outside and fence has been covered in plastic to stop the view into this camp. Unfortunately from the top floor you can se straight in.

Lovely modern hotel, much classier than the two budget options on the same zone. Next to the motorway so very convenient yet with the lovely swimming pool and the patio dining it really felt quite luxurious. Lovely comfy beds and a nice buffet dinner.

Close to the highway, great for travelers. Pool is great to relax before hitting the road, and appreciated they have a small but basic enough fitness room.

The hotel is very good but no much activities are expected within the hotel or the city near the hotel.

The hotel room was clean on the 4th floor . Unfortunately it was not a walking distance from the Center of Bruges as we thought it would be . But as we had our car it was easily accessible.the Staff were very friendly and took their time to be helpful . Our only discomfort was the size of the bed . Even though it was a double bed , it was not a king size bed . Overall the experience was good and we recommend it to our friends .

The hotel is hard to find and away from the city centre . However it offers really nice facilities such as games , swimming pool and lovely restaurant . We had really nice dinner and fresh , tasty breakfast . The only downside is its location , convenient it is but not pretty at all.

Staff were pleasant and helpful especially when called at 00.40 to complain about the terrible noise coming from the children's play area. Not very amusing when you've just driven 400 miles with 300 ahead of you the next morning. Receptionist was very apologetic and having heard the reception phone ringing again I assume (rightly or wrongly) that other guests were complaining. I strongly suggest that this area is closed at 22.30. Towels and bedding spotless as usual but the rooms and bathrooms are in desperate need of refurbishment. Secure car park with plenty of spaces.

We stopped here as a family on our way back from Spain, the hotel was surprisingly geared to children with heated outdoor pool, a play area, a games console section, football table and childrens menu in the restaurant which all went down well with our 10 year old daughter.Overall no complaints, in my opinion the rooms, especially bathrooms are dated for a 4* standard but other facilities made up for this.

I stayed here on my way to Spain and following a day driving. It's location is easy access from the motorway and they have plenty of parking however the positives end there. The Hotel needs an upgrade. The building is old fashioned, felt like an old hospital and in the hallways there was a funny smell. I would not stay here again, although it served its purpose. A place to crash after a long drive.

We were traveling through France to Spain with our dog and it was the ideal driving distance from London to break the journey. There was plenty of space to walk the dog when we got there and again in the morning before we left. The staff were lovely and the dinner and breakfast were good. It was good value for money and the dog was very appy staying in our room with us. Am planning to stay there again on the return leg.

Welcoming staff and comfortable beds in a quad room for 2 teenagers and parents. Only disappointment was the smell of cold tobacco when we entered the room despite requesting a non smoking room but we kept the window open and the smell soon became a lot less significant.

We have stayed in this hotel three times now. It's our midway stop as we travel to the South of France. Its just of the motorway, with reasonable rates. We get a family room with four beds so it fits our purpose perfectly. We would normally arrive later afternoon and use the facilities such as the out door pool.

We stayed here on our way down to South of France and also on the way back it is the midway point and i would recommend anyone to use this hotel for the same reason. kids had fun in the pool and in the computer room.

Just like the Novotel we stayed in last year this was clean,comfortable and modern. Good pool and games for the kids.

Everything in my hotel room smelled very strongly of cigarette smoke, as I don't smoke I found it offensive. I didn't take any clothes out of my bag because of the smell & in the morning my nightie smelt as well! Apart from that, the service & food was good. My daughter, husband & children had a family room & that didn't smell.

You can see it fro, A71, but it is still hard to find without a gps; I had to stop at another hotel to ask directions. But once you are there, it is quiet, spacious, and has good food.

Very good food. But the service was the worst ever.
