The bathroom was dirty. Looked like it wasnt cleaned in a while. The towels were gross. They looked like there were stains on them and one had a hair in it.

Room was very clean but the tub was a bit scary for seniors to get in and out of and the beds were a bit hard and the pillows were flat.

When I pulled up to the hotel it looked like a low-income apartment housing. Check in was ok, however when I got to my room the room was not cleaned at all-, I took pics of the room and went back to the front office. The person at the front desk apologized and moved me another room. The new room was a bit better. I went out for a couple hours and when I got back to my room and tried to turn on the heater and the heater did not work. I went back to the front desk and the front desk worker went to the room with me and also saw the heater was not working. He advised that they'll have maintenance come look at it the next day (no one came). I requested to have the manager contact me regarding issues to my room. Manager Alex called me, and I advised him of the issues, and he advised that they could move my room again. Communication with cleaning service and the front desk needs to improve

The room was not properly cleaned from the last tenant. There was unknown dried substances on all different parts of the room (including curtains). Stains on sheets. The bathroom was not cleaned either. We won’t be staying again.

We had three rooms for a week, when we arrived the pillows were mildewy and moldy. We complained and they changed them out. During the week our guys were waking up with bites all over them. When we told the front desk they dismissed our complaint and asked for photos. We left our stay early to go to another hotel. I emailed Soneta the mother company and the actual property. We’ve not heard back.

We checked in around midnight after the fair. When we got to our room it was 80° inside and smelt of smoke. When I booked I chose a non smoking room but this room absolutely had been smoked in before. The ac got to work quick and cooled down after about an hour. The shower had hair and other dirt inside. The carpet was a little sticky. The bedding was clean thankfully. For $85 I guess that’s what I should expect but I noticed 4 stars rating so I assumed it would be better.

The stay was great at first.unfortunately we we’re told tht we had to check out because i didn’t pay before 10:30 when ✅ out is 11o’clock? I never gave them any problem always paid 2 to 3 days in advance ; So my credibility was valid. I stay here for 2-3 weeks with no problems. Even though house keeping didn’t clean the room every day (etc). I didn’t complain.3⭐️

Breakfast was a bust. Only a few cello-wrapped items, a banana and coffee. Old motel cheaply renovated. When we came in a worker hustled in to sweep up the dead crickets from the floor.

Could use a little work but overall was decent and clean.price is too high for the area, pillows are too soft I had to purchase my own. For over 7,000.00 dollars for 27 nights after I booked and paid for rooms with kitchenettes and then I was told I had to be moved other rooms but they were upgraded rooms I was told. They were just basic double rooms and I wasn’t offered a discount, extra night or anything. For paying upfront for three rooms for 27 nights I feel like I should have gotten better treatment.

Room had a bad smell. Walls looked like they’d been splashed with urine or feces. Pubic hair all over bathroom floor. Bathroom fan hanging loose out of ceiling. Bed cover didn’t smell fresh, was fraying and had a cigarette hole. Air conditioner smelled moldy. Large black crickets climbing the bedroom walls. Front desk staff was very nice.

An emergency situation post Hurricane Beryl. I needed a place for my wife, daughter and visiting elderly in-laws and their dog. This was one of a few hotels that had any availability. They had AC and working Wi-Fi and water. This place is a average physical facility with average amenities. But there isa restaurant next door, and HEB, Walmart and dining, shopping 3 minutes away. This hotel was a godsend. It was dangerous for myself and family to remain in a home without any AC. Especially considering health conditions of several of my family.

Outer picture of hotel is not updated. Has been updated and it looks so nice. Rooms are roomy, clean and fresh. Close to downtown Brenham and other interests. Asked for ADA and got it !! Outside hotel has wonderful curb appeal.

Check in was ok. The new guy was being trained and I had the patience to wait. I got the room key, and went over to where I would park, grabbed my bag and headed up the stairs to an heavy cigarette smoke smell only to find the key card would not work. Grabbed my bag and put it in the truck, walked back over to office. The young woman called maintenance, and was told that that door doesn’t work. We had asked for the kitchenette and that was the last one…Young woman asked if room #2 would be ok, and I said sure. She made the key and showed me to the room. It was in the building where you check in… walking over to the room, the smell of urine or bad pot or combo hit me. In the room the smell was ok, so I moved my truck and grabbed my stuff. Got set up, and lo and behold no remote for tv. I called the front desk at this point and she sent the maintenance guy over. He brought the remote, and the tv was not going to work. He went to the next room over and came back to let me know it worked and could I move my stuff over there. I did. I had driven 2 hours prior to arrival, and was tired. This room seemed ok, until I discover the bugs in the middle of the night scurrying in the bathroom. Overall it looks ok, but it’s dirty. Floors were tacky and my socks showed the dirt. Maintenance did pinesol the hall for a better smell, but by morning it was back. I think they are trying to make it better, and need more staff to help with their upgrades. I will not go back.

The tv nor the phone worked. Tried talking to the manager but was told there wasn’t one available at the time. Went to the office a little bit before check out and was told there still wasn’t one on the premises and was told that I would be contacted the following day but I still haven’t received a call from anyone

The only complaint is the TV wouldn't load a channel.you can see the guide but not a show. Also, couldn't sleep too well on the bed, probably because I'm used to mypillow

Our room was clean. The outside of the building was a bit run down, but our room was just fine. The inside was definitely dated, but it was clean; and for the price, it was a great stay. We felt safe, and didn't have any animals staying near us, which was a nice thing. My daughter and I stayed there for a local half marathon. For the money, it was a good stay.

I was scared because of the reviews, but the vibe here is nice, the staff are friendly, nothing feels dangerous or anything. The pillows were thin so I brought my own and things definitely need updates but I hope this place makes some small changes because it is retro and had more character than some of the more "upscale" chains next to the highway

This property was great for a no frills stay. Everything was clean. There was some slight cosmetic damage but nothing that truly affected my stay. Free parking and the rooms are inside a hallway not drive up in the parking lot. They staff were very kind. There was also breakfast every morning!

Overall this place is acceptable. It needs a fresh coat of paint inside and out, a better room refresher, new doors inside rooms and a better selection of breakfast items. Instead of just 'acceptable", it needs to be "exceptional".

Did not like the fact that the people upstairs had kids that were just running around in the room and i could hear it all in the room also the sink bathroom in that room had a leak and i called the front desk to let them know about it and it never got fixed

Way overpriced for this type of motel/hotel. Very outdated. Rooms stink. A/c didn't work in 1 of rooms. For construction workers only type cheap place. Doors to buildings don’t lock. Room doors deadbolt doesn’t work. No roaches seen but fully expected type place.
