Quick check in, great staff and room was as expected. Hot tub was a little disappointing as the jets didn’t seem to be working very well if at all. I’d definitely stay here again.

Excellent stay! Rooms were comfortable, clean and cozy. They even upgraded us. I traveled with my 4 year old and it was super kid friendly. Steps from the ski shuttle out front and 2 blocks from all the action in Banff center. Highly recommend.

A very clean older hotel situated on main street very close to everything. It was very quiet and we enjoyed our stay. Parking is very limited but we were able to find a spot so was very convenient not have to drive and use bus tickets provided. One of hot tubs didn’t work so there was only one to use and there was no info about during booking. Restaurant didn’t look too nice so we didn’t go there.

I have stayed at this hotel many times with great experiences everytime I’ve been there. This time was so bad, I will not go back. When I checked in, I was thanked for coming back as it is a regular stay for me. I was told that I was getting an “upgrade” and I would really enjoy my room and my stay. The last few times I had massive rooms with a fire place and it was beautiful so I figured this time would be really special. Boy was I wrong. The room was about as big as my bathroom (tiny). You couldn’t even fit 2 people in the bathroom at one time. The only difference in this room that maybe could consider it an upgrade is that there was a vaulted ceiling. There was two double beds in this “superior” room. It was absolutely freezing!! The door to come into the room was right beside a vent that was pumping out cold air (outside it was -5 Cel) so why ice cold ac!? Then the door to the balcony which overlooked a parking lot and another hotel which was so close you couldn’t open the blinds cause everyone could see in from the other hotel. The door leaked cold air from the outside really bad. The heating unit was about 6” from the bed so you couldn’t keep the heat on to warm up the room cause it felt like the bed was gonna catch fire. I paid almost 600$ cad for two nights. Never again! There are plenty of other nice hotels in Banff that I’m sure would love my business. Upgrade she says. Upgrade!! Shameful Oh and the room was filthy!

Very nice hotel and great location. Hotel and room was very clean. Check-in service was excellent and the customer representative was friendly and provided great information for using the bus service. Would definitely stay again and recommend this hotel.

The worst lazy housekeeping I’ve ever experienced. Come in makes ONE of 3 beds, same bugs on floor in bathroom entire stay, sloppy housekeeping, basically have to ask for refill of everything. Kleenex just left empty, conditioner left empty, just pure sloppy. Twice asked for conditioner never did come. Very tired furniture. Very old crusty tiles in hot tub. New towels just thrown in. What a joke. Get a proper housekeeper who actually cares and doesn’t tarnish your brand. Would not recommend this hotel.

When we checked in the girl in the reception did not have a friendly attitude. It was difficult to find parking so when she came out to help she looked annoyed and treated me as If I was blind and could not see. The room had little light and was smelly but it was cleaned.

When i first checked in… 1) the room smelled like a mixer of tomato sauce and harsh cleaning fluid 2) the pillows reeked of dandruff and sweat 3) there was no underpad for the flat sheet 4) cheap and thin comforter 5) clogged toilet Called down to the front desk… They moved us to a new room on the second night… and all of the above was corrected. We were happy after that but… Why have this low level of preparedness for incoming guests? Where is the management overlooking the team? Overall good stay and great location but really suffered on the first night…

We are still staying there right now, but we had a horrible smell in our bedroom and we are switching rooms after our first night… Also the pillows smell like dirty hair and the comforters are not thick enough so we were cold last night no matter how high we turn up the heat

The Hotel is very conveniently located to all the shopping, restaurants, groceries and transportation. The staff were very friendly and helpful However, the property is somewhat dated, the room lighting was poor and it was very dark in the room. Also, the bathroom is somewhat small and the vanity in the bathroom definitely needs replacing. See picture below.

I stayed here for my daughter’s birthday and it was absolutely amazing. I parked my car in the underground parking and didn’t have to use gas the whole time as we were able to use the free bus pass provided to us. The restaurant service and food and pricing was amazing! Will definitely be back.

Really nice hotel in a good position for easy walking into Banff. Room was large, spacious and clean. Check in was quick and they let us have our room early. Parking under the hotel, for free, was super easy and you could go straight up to your floor on the lift. Would stay again

Courteous service. We never used the restaurant as there are many other restaurants in the area. The rooms are a bit dated and the ac seems very loud. Overall, it was a comfortable experience.

PRACTICAL ACCOMMODATION It is located on the main street and that a plus point, close to the bus station, restaurants, IGA supermarket and many shopping areas. Room was very dark, needed to keep lights on all the time, the only window/balcony faces the atrium so no privacy at all, you must keep the blinds down at all times and that makes feel a little claustrophobic, bed was comfortable, pillows were small and sheets were clean. Underground parking was included as well as a pass for the Roam but only for the basic public transportation around the city. Air conditioning was very quiet and in general is a pleasant and a decent spot to stay for a short time. Good communication and friendly staff.

While the staff was nice and the place was conveniently located, the facility was dated; 1970s theme, floral carpets, narrow and dark hallways, poor lighting in the rooms, and ridiculously expensive. $500 /night.
