This was our second stay at this hotel in the past year. The first time, we assumed the issues were a temporary. This time around, same issues, but worse. Elevator was out of service for the duration of the stay (again). Hallways and stairways smelled very strongly of cigarette smoke (again). The smell of sewage was so overwhelming the last night of the stay we got up at 3am and left despite knowing we had a long day followed by a very long drive home ahead of us. The entire hotel feels damp and musty, sometimes overwhelmingly so. If there is not a lot of mold in this hotel I would be shocked, though I did not see any in our room. The staff and their service was excellent during both of our stays but the building itself seems to be in a quickly worsening state of disrepair. The issues were not the fault of the staff - they were very friendly and polite. The location is fantastic. Wish they would overhaul the property or knock it down and rebuild.

We were in Parris island for grandson’s marine graduation. We stayed 3 nights. One of the things that impressed us was they opened up the breakfast VERY early (also had sack breakfast to go) because on Thursday and Friday we had to be on base very early. When I booked I figured we would be without breakfast but to my surprise we had it before leaving.

So we had to evacuate from hurricane Milton and found this place. All the staff was very nice and friendly but as far as the hotel not so much. The 3rd floor is under construction and all you smell is fumes and the noise is ridiculous from that. And other that the construction noise you can literally hear everything in your room at all hours of the day and night. Were completely booked so we were stuck and nothing we could do. And this wasn’t the go to cheap couple night hotel rate. Here is my thing if you are doing construction on half of the floor just shut the whole thing down period. We left and still not able to return home and checked in at a home2suites cheaper rate and wow what a difference. So as far as the staff wonderful the property was less than acceptable.

We came in with our service dog. I explained what her duty is and was told that she is not eligible to be a service dog. That lady behind the desk charged my credit card with USD 75 without asking for permission. After a costumer service center call from Hilton after my complaint that issue was fixed. Then we went into our room to find out that it was very dirty, dust all over the place and hair from someone else in the bathroom sink. So we had to go back to the front desk to ask for a clean room. Lucky enough we had taken pictures ‚to proof’ why we wanted a new room. We got into the new room that had a huge wet spot on the carpet..we assume the cleaning staff dropped a bottle full of some detergent on the floor…the hotel is outdated and dirty. The breakfast is ok. As a Hilton Gold Member we are used to stay in hotels of the Hilton Group. We do not recommend the Hampton Inn Beaufort, would rather stay in a competitor's hotel in the area.

Our stay was great. The breakfast was very tasteful, our room & bed were very clean. The sofa looked liked someone tried to clean it. Not clean enough for us to sit on, so I asked cleaning staff for an extra sheet. I used it to cover sofa. The staff were very nice and friendly. Would come here again.

The room was clean & staff friendly. Best hotel breakfast I’ve experienced. Fresh fruit, homemade oatmeal with toppings, waffles, breads, plus egg, sausage & potatoes. Cookies were available upon check in & popcorn through the day. Very nice & clean towels & sheets. Comfortable & spacious bed. Met our needs.

It was okay that sheets weren't changed for our 4 day stay but I think towels, supplies and trash disposal should have been done more often. Also, please put an awning or some kind of shade covering over the pool area! Cement and hand rails were very hot!

We visited this hotel on 2023 and it was horrible. However, this year was a complete turn around. Check in was a breeze. Front desk staff were very pleasant and friendly. Housekeeping was great. Kitchen staff friendly. We like this hotel because they offer a pool, breakfast is included, and the price is reasonable!

There appears to be mold on the bathroom wall. I had to clean dried poo off of the toilet paper holder. I didn’t call the front desk because the girl who checked us in, Stephanie, was less than helpful with any questions I asked at check-in. Day 2 of our stay the orange juice and apple juice were pouring water. I asked the attendant who said she’d check it out but she never did. We paid $200 per night for this. We paid Hampton Inn to give us ridiculously bad customer service. It was giving ‘it’s not my job’ vibes. I will never stay at a Hampton Inn EVER!

The property is nicely located off the main road, overlooking wetlands. It's a relaxing setting. The staff was very unfriendly. We stayed there over the 4th of July weekend. Property was understaffed, staff seemed annoyed that they had to help the guest. At the check-in, would not even direct us to the room, nor offer simple info about the breakfast hours. Breakfast area is rather tight, hard to maneuver. Only 3-4 guests at the breakfast buffet are creating a crowd.

Slightly below average facility for a Hampton. Rooms were a bit austere. They were clean-ish. A/C unit struggled with the humidity of the SC low country (sticky, but cool, in the room). Breakfast was average, but the attendant saw my plate and offered whip cream from the fridge for my waffle. She was a bright spot of the stay.

This particular Hampton Inn has probably not been touched for upgrades in 10 years. It is on a beautiful piece of property, and I can't imagine why they would not make it a true 5-star experience. Check in was a nightmare and the room was not ready ...1 1/2 hours late.... on a Friday evening. Good luck getting to my engagement by appointed time!! Desk clerk completely overwhelmed and not equipped for her job. Second person at the desk did nothing but give out water??? Humidity levels in the room was so high that the carpet was damp ...yuck. I live in Charleston, and I know about humidity and that is not normal. No water pressure in the sinks. Overall, a very poor property that needs immediate attention.

Hotel was convenient to the places we wanted to visit. The hotel pool was closed and we were not.informed at tge time of booking. Staff could not say when it would open again. Room did not ha e hair dryer, shower smelled mild dew each time water was turned on. Room was clean. We had to run fir washcloths. The breakfast was ok. Wish they would use real yogurt with live culture and scrambled eggs were loaded with salt.
