Overall a good hotel. Nice location. Good size rooms. ++ very dog friendly and my dog was very welcome everywhere - - the spa was not a spa but more like a pool in a charter hotel in Crete. It was terrible with kids all over and no room for other guest - - no compensation for not being able to use the spa - - the breakfast was okay but often empty

We loved our stay at Holiday Inn. Reception was kind and helpful and efficient. The rooms were clean and well maintained. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast had a lot of different options, which was nice since we were there five days. Everything was delicious. We paid for parking. It was expensive, but we were here during the festival and we didn’t want to fight for parking-so we thought it was worth it. Walking distance to the island which was were we did a lot of exploring, so a great location. I would definitely choose to stay here again.

Conveniently located just outside Lübeck's north city portal, Burgtor. It's just a few minutes walk into the altstadt with churches, squares, passageways, courtyards, and a variety of beautiful gabled buildings. Loved the breakfast at the hotel and the rainwater shower head. There are a limited number of free outdoor parking spaces which I luckily obtained. Lübeck is wonderful.

Coincidentally had stayed here before several years ago but didn’t realise till arrived, and room was great, location perfect, ate in the restaurant which has great and handy and luckily we had prebooked as it was busy. Would recommend and stay here again

Isabelle at the front desk could not have been more welcoming. The room was perfect and the breakfast was exceptional. So easy to walk to the Old Town. Also an excellent family-owned Italian restaurant across the street.

This hotel is conveniently located just outside the city walls. Our room was decently sized for a European city. It was nicely decorated and had functional AC. We chose the place in part for the pool, but it was even more chaotic than usual bc the desk was giving away beach balls. The floor was also subway tile--horribly slippery. Some of the windows created weird privacy issues too. Breakfast had quite a bit of variety, but good luck getting there or to the pool because of the elevator situation. There were only 2 tiny ones for the whole hotel, and the stairs were for emergencies only. COVID concerns further limit people's willingness to share a tight space with a stranger, so the lines for elevators were horrible. If you have issues with claustrophobia or similar, beware that you might feel trapped on your floor. Maybe this will clear up once they have their remodeling done, but it seems generally silly that the stairs aren't currently open for anyone willing to take them.

A very clean modern hotel close to the Old Town of Luebeck. The hotel was clean and spacious with a great selection of breakfast. The rooms are so big with enough space, the shower was very good. The indoor pool is awesome. The staff was very friendly and polite. Parking was free in front of the hotel. This is a good location if you want to explore Luebeck!

Our room where very hot (25+ degrees) and after the first night we got the information that air conditioning where turned off for the season. The window could only be opened 4 cm, but we managed by expectation to have it fully opened to get a decent temperature. The hotel where fully booked so hardly room for breakfast and with disturbing music (German hard rock at 8.30 in the morning) The hotel seemed a bit of wormed out compared with our stay some years where we had a good experience.

The lady at the reception was very competent and friendly. But the windows at the hotel were too small such that it felt like I was in a prison. They also made the breakfast very complicated. Apparently, there's a voucher system for the breakfast. There were so many questions at the reception to the breakfast room. I didn't have my wallet with me to pay and asked them to write this to my room during check-out. It should be anyways this way but they kept asking about the voucher or pay there. I mean this is a hotel, of course they take our names and make us pay during checkout. The breakfast was also very poor despite this complicated reception to the breakfast hall. Very disappointed.

The hotel and the rooms are fair average, and a bit below expectations. Good and friendly service. We missed the daily cleaning and makeover of the rooms, which was limited due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The price was too high when taking all aspects into account.

Very pleasant and modern hotel close to the city center. We were happy about the extremely great air con in our room and the king sized bed. The restaurant offered good meals and the atmosphere was quiet and calm. Great breakfast buffet with many options. There are parking area for cars around the hotel and also a garage available. The hotel and our room were very clean. Only negative point was the worn out and dirtylooking carpeting.

Positives: - Decent bed - Decent size room - Location of hotel Negatives: - The room was not very clean when we arrived. There were dust everywhere. The walls look very dirty, like they haven’t been cleaned in a long time. The shower curtain had weird stains on it - that should have been cleaned or changed! - The walls between the rooms are very thin. It’s very loud. - The breakfast buffet is not worth the money. Small selection and nothing seems to be really fresh. - Dogs are allowed (which is fine), but there was a dog barking from 7 am in another room 2-3 days in a row. In relation to COVID-19: All guest must wear masks in the hotel. All in all - Not worth the 4 stars! I expect more from a 4* hotel.
