The room was absolutely disgusting. The pictures on the site are not what it actually looks like. The are catfishing with the pictures. Place was very sketchy.

The room was very ran down. The carpets were filthy. The bed sheets were stained. The chair looked like it would collapse if you sat on it. The main room light switch didn’t work.

we tried checking in and the desk clerk said she had no reservations for us so i. called hotels they. called the hotel and tried to line it out and the hotel over booked and sold our room to someone else from the desk clerks own mouth and we had to get our money back and go elsewhere don’t ever stay here it’s nasty

Dirty bad experience bad service they treat us like a criminal or something they went and knocked in our room at 9 am and checked out it’s at 11 am I told the guy in front desk that we was staying one more night even though it was dirty but we was tired of long trip and we just wanted to rest and the guy in front desk ask for me to come downstairs with him to pay another day I told him I will as soonest I put my shoes and clothes he told me no if I want to stay one more night I have to pay now and that he will wait for me outside my room until I get my clothes and shoes I told him I was feeling uncomfortable with him outside my room that he can charge me on my card I have used that he don’t need me to go downstairs right now it’s not even check out time he told me he is going to call the cops than the cops showed up he made me feel uncomfortable we came to Topeka for my dad funeral and he treat us like a criminal so when the cops left and I pay another night one of the house cleaning guy knocked on my door and ask to talk to me than ask me if I was willing to help him out with something he needs help with I was confused and I ask what it was he ask me if I can meet him in one of the rooms I feel scare and did not feel comfortable than I close the door on him and told my husband we left from there asap bad experience will not recommend

This location does not even deserve a 1 star rating, it was so bad! Entire hotel smelled of weed (reservation was booked for a NON-Smoking room), window in room was wide open upon entering room (it was after Midnight when we checked in), room was NOT cleaned, did not have any towels in it at all & was gross to say the least. We booked this reservation last minute due to an overnight road trip for business & needed somewhere for a few hours rest & to be on the way. Ended up sleeping in truck due to the horrible conditions of this hotel. I would have requested a refund, but since it was booked last minute it was a non-refundable reservation. Would NOT recommend this hotel anyone to stay & HIGHLY UNSATISFIED!!!

There was a terrible smell in hallway and the room. I was afraid to walk in the room without my shoes on as the carpet was full of stains. The comforter had several cigarette burn holes. I was kept awake most of the night with doors slamming shut constantly and loud voices in the hallway. I had reserved for 2 nights but checked out in the morning as I left for a grief retreat (son died 2 years ago), and the guy was vacuuming the lobby and told me to just leave the card on the counter. I told him i was supposed to stay another night but chrcking out, and he acted too busy to talk. Attempted getting refunded for the 2nd night as I was paying for a reservation somewhere else that was a lot cleaner, but they refused to refund me. Don't waste your money and spend just a little more somewhere else. Have plenty of pics, but it will not let me upload any.

Filthy towels. Dangerous hair dryer, no battery in smoke detector. Brown streak on wall ??? Awful toilet seat. No drain stopper etc. Filthy carpet.

This hotel is great…….. if you like crackheads to literally meth up your trip! This reminds me of a hotel the people on Law and Order SVU visit when they are investigating a horrible crime. To be honest it’s probably worse. Now because of this dive hotel I can count on my wife bringing up “that night in Topeka” and I’ll instantly lose every argument. I’ll never forgive myself for this!

The bathroom had plaster around the shower that was cracked, no face cloths, only 1 towel. There was a cigarette stuck in the bathroom vent along with an air freshner One of the bedspreads appeared to have several burn holes in it. It was missing a pillowcase and the carpet looked filtjy.

Property appeared to be mostly original from the early 90's. It needs a complete remodel or torn down. The room was extremely dirty. I don't understand how it's still listed on Expedia as a Super 8.

I stepped into the room and tripped over a chair left directly in front of it. The room was so hot until 2 hours later that i spent time in my car cooling down. The sheets were dirty. Blankets were ripped. Breakfast was cereal. Juice machine didnt work and no sugar for coffee. There just wasn't anything good to say.

Just terrible it stunk stains everywhere on walls and floor. I asked for easy accessibility and they had stairs everywhere but we were exhausted and sick so we just crashed in our clothes. Left as soon as we woke. Breakfast was also a mess or ?

Photos do not match reality, dirty floor, bathroom with crumpled towels, dirty sheets and blankets, damaged walls, horrible smell, door with damaged lock. Me, my husband and my son arrived tired after 12 hours of driving, to check out at 12am and it was impossible to stay there, we had to look for another hotel.

This hotel is not up to a Super8 franchise standard. My room does not have a smoke detector (it is missing from the ceiling mount), the carpet has many stains, all of the towels are old & dingy - not even sure they are clean, and the building needs many repairs. I cannot recommend this Super8 hotel for anyone traveling through Topeka, KS - spend more $ and stay anywhere else in the area.

Most uncleanly hotel we have ever seen. We booked a room but never stayed. Got a room down the road so lost money for sure.Sheets and pillow cases appeared to not have not been washed. Large stains on all linens. Super strong smell of smokers. Grounds around the hotel littered with trash.

Clean, friendly, professional, respectful, and the pool was just as clean as my room. Hotels in this area at this price are more than hard to find. 2 BIG 👍. Keep up what your doing.

Staff very friendly. Room had problems. Dead bolt busted, refrigerator not working. Breakfast was terrible. Out of juice, waffle machine broken, only cold cereal, while we were eating some the milk ran out and no one replaced it.

Must have fake reviews to raise average rating. Filthy...carpet stained, towels so bad we didn't shower, bathroom floor sticky, fridge broken, no soap or shampoo, fire alarm hanging from ceiling, walls stained, ceiling showed bad patches, not completely painted, faucet sprayed so water ran over counter No real breakfast, no coffee,just 2 half bottles of juice seen in mini fridge and 2 choices of dry cereal - said milk was thrown out, no bowls or spoons since they really don't expect anyone to eat since they don't provide anything,

We had what I will call a basement room. It was very musty smelling and overall gross. Cigarette burns all over the bedspreads that had questionably not been washed, and burns all over the carpet. There were unidentifiable stains on the bedspread, and I found toenail clippings by the wall. The window was oddly on level with the outside sidewalk, and it would not lock, so we secured it with a hiking pole. We slept a while and booked it out of there. My teenage son wouldn’t take his shoes off if that says anything… a TEENAGE BOY! On a positive note: no bed bugs were seen (and I checked well because that would have been a dealbreaker for us), our car wasn’t broken into, and we left alive.

The bedding had burn marks from cigarettes, carpet did as well. It’s was supposed to be a non-smoking room, but there were smoking rooms in the same floor as mine. Also, mine wasn’t an exclusive noon-smoking room. It was also stained and dirty. You couldn’t pay me to stay there again.

Stay anywhere but here. Place was filthy, feces on the wall. One towel in the bathroom. No hairdryer. No soap, shampoo or anything in the bathroom. Window was left open and no screens on window. Smoke detector was covered up. Multiple holes in the wall poorly patched. There was no breakfast to speak off. Only cereal. No milk or juice. The waffle maker was broken and the waffle mix was watered down. Stay anywhere but here.

Was an alright place when we were short on time. A little dirty and some plumbing issues. Front desk service was great. Cheap room rate, so I guess you what you pay for.
