The stay was because of Hurricane Milton evacuation in October 2024. Needed an affordable getaway not in the path of the storm where our daughter's family could also get lodging with their 3 kids and wiener dog. We ended up extending our stay 2 extra nights to make sure it was safe to go home, so stayed 5 nights total. The room had a desk, desk chair and a small very hard chair, but no table to eat at. Must note here the microwave worked, but was really in need of being replaced as what I thought was cooked on food, and tried to clean, turned out to be burned through holes or rot in the ceiling of the microwave. Mini fridge was like any other--froze half of the contents. We had a 2 queen bed room, and although my bed was comfortable, my husband's bed squeaked horribly with every move, and he said he could not get comfortable on it. THERE WAS NO GRAB BAR IN THE TUB/SHOWER AND THE TUB WAS VERY SLIPPERY TO STAND ON. VERY DANGEROUS, ESPECIALLY FOR OLDER FOLKS. We place the bath mat/towel in the tub to stand on. THRESHOLD TO THE BATHROOM WAS RAISED AND UNSECURED PROPERLY, A TRIPPING HAZZARD. Hinges/hardware in bathroom were very rusty. BUT, NO BUGS/INSECTS!!!!!! THAT'S A BIG PLUS!!!! TV reception was only ok..... Cannot comment on the breakfast items as we brought our own food. Grandkids had fun in the small pool. Staff was very friendly and helpful. All in all it was a safe haven and that was all we could ask for.

The room was infected with cockroaches. In the bathroom, bed and tables. Also the bed sheets dirty, with cigarette marks, outside dirty, balcony broke. Refrigerator dirty

Rooms were nasty and full of mold Switched rooms Toilet backed up, switched rooms again had problems with long-term tenant below four of us left sick

Very convenient to family friends and restaurants. Tv in the room didnt work but ok

Holes in the walls, bugs in the bathroom, stains on the doors, walls, tv screen. Smelled musty.

The rooms looked nothing like the pictures online. I was traveling alone with 3 children and on our first night in, the security latch fell completely out of the door. When I went downstairs and demanded another room or a refund, I was told “I’m working all night, nobody is going to try and get in your door, just trust me babe.” Only after I said choice words and began crying was I able to move to a different room. When we got to the second room, the “deluxe” room, it was no better. The bathroom light switch wouldn’t stay on unless you held it down, there was paw print stains on the sheets (I didn’t have any pets with us) and when we woke up to shower the next morning, the water didn’t work. We checked out immediately and found a room further down in Orange Beach. Jeanie in the office was very nice and helpful, I know it wasn’t her fault but I definitely would not recommend staying here to anyone. I went and bought cans of Lysol and sprayed the bed down completely before we even got in it. LESSON LEARNED, cheaper is not always better. Save your money and your time and find another place to stay.

The staff was very polite that’s the good now the bad it’s too noisy you can all the movements in all I guess that what impact the price. Thanks Exp.

Its was good for what we needed when we are working in the area. They staff is always accommodating.
