This is a great hotel only had one little problem. I turned the water on in room and it had a murky white look to it so I had to go get water from somewhere else. I think they’re fixing this.

Great overnight stop. Nice staff, decent little breakfast, simple rooms. Bathroom needed a deep clean, because the hotel was sold out breakfast was crowded, and the walls are THIN in the rooms.

Bathroom is the smallest I’ve seen. Sliding door to the bathroom with toilet and pod type shower. Vanity is outside with a spray faucet. Neither one of us slept well because of the outside noise. Sounded like semi’s revving their engines. The breakfast was great! Highly rated but didn’t live up to our expectations. Old and needs remodeled.

I am writing to express my disappointment with my recent stay at your Wytheville, VA location in Room 109. While the room was clean and the check-in process smooth, our overall experience was significantly affected by a persistent and disruptive noise that made our stay unpleasant. After returning from dinner and a movie, we discovered an obnoxious noise coming from what sounded like a compressor. The noise occurred every 2-3 minutes and lasted 1-2 minutes each time. Despite our efforts to rest, the sound made it nearly impossible to sleep. When I brought the issue to the attention of the front desk, I was told, “I am not sure; I get off duty in a few.” This dismissive response offered no resolution or assurance. I requested to be moved to another room but was informed the hotel was sold out. We managed to fall asleep around midnight, but the noise woke us again around 2:30am, after which we decided to check out early at 4am not being able to fall back asleep. Upon checking out, I voiced my concerns again and suggested that we should not be charged for the room due to the lack of rest we experienced. The response was, “There is nothing I can do,” without any apology or empathy for our situation. This experience was far below the standard we expected based on the positive reviews that influenced our decision to stay at your hotel. I strongly advise that Room 109, or any room in proximity to this issue, not be rented out until the problem is resolved

Asking for a credit card for a room already paid, no other hotel did that. No trash can in bathroom with toilet, shower door had no seal and water was everywhere, shower floor was dangerously slippery, walls are paper thin and can hear people talking in next room.

There is a compressor that would tire on every 4 to 5 minutes for about one minute all night very loud. Could not sleep for most of the night. I think I would have had a better rest in the car at a rest stop. I would not stay here again. I asked for another room they told me they did not have any.

Excellent place to stay. Comfortable, clean and quiet. Unfortunately, breakfast tables and chairs for people to sit down was limited. It was super easy to get back on the highway. We definitely will stop here again.

We have stayed in 3 different hotels on the last month and this was by far the best! Very friendly staff, very clean inside and out. The breakfast had an excellent selection, it was plentiful and hot. I will be looking to stay at a Sleep Inn on our next trip.

Room was current with nice furniture. Room was obviously clean and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was excellent, considering the price of the room and the breakfast area was well supplied of every option.

Aside from a few light bulbs in the room not working this is a great value. We have stayed here before and noted although the breakfast is good they need more room to enjoy it. I think there are only 16-18 chairs at 4 or 5 tables just very cramped. Even with that said we would stay there again.

This is a good place to stay if you are looking for a clean room to spend the night in. The hotel doesn't try to do anything more than that. However, the hotel was clean and the service was friendly. That's all I was expecting and they delivered.

If this hotel is any indication of the Sleep Inn chain we will definitely be staying in them. Friendly staff, nice clean room, wonderful breakfast and convenient to the interstate and the town of Wytheville. You must eat at the 1776 Log House which is in town.

Our room had a bad musty smell, most likely from old, outdated carpeting. There were stink bugs outside the side entrance door and they came in the hallway and into our room. Extremely pricey night stay for a less than quality room. Would not stay here again.
