If you visit this hotel, make sure your room doesn’t face Monsignor Rd. Cars blasted this music all night. Additionally, road construction with jackhammers started promptly at 7:00 am.

Hotel is older and it's insane that it was $400 to stay there but it was comfortable and clean. The problem I had was that housekeeping staff was outside my door in the hallway screaming back-and-forth at 8:30 and didn't stop until 11 at one point I asked them if they could please turn down the walkie-talkies they were using because the volume was very loud and I couldn't get back to sleep. I just got a blank look, but they turned it down and just continued yelling back-and-forth.

Reasonable rates because the location is out of core Boston. Walkable to the tram lines. A negative ... Only two elevators (floor level lights and some buttons) so house keeping and trash bins use the same as the full house guests. Breakfast was always spot on, even with full house dining.

The hotel was a convenient choice near downtown and transportation options. One major issue was a leaking ceiling and mold in our room discovered upon check-in. The other surprise was the addition of an overnight parking charge. The premium price should have included parking. Breakfast and amenities were on the mark for a HI express. Friendly staff definitely helped smooth h over the rough start by finding us another room on a ‘sold out’ weekend.

The hotel was fairly nice, and I would’ve given it a much higher rating had they had not allowed a car alarm to go off all night and instead taken care of the problem. Being in Boston, you pay for your parking at the hotel. Which is fine, because there’s limited space. But that being said It is also would’ve been easier to figure out whose car it was that the alarm was going of. The first time was understandable, but the second time they should’ve warned them they would be towed or ask them to move their car if their car alarm continued going off. It was directly under our room in a covered parking spot, and it was left going off for like 10 min each time if not longer. The could’ve easily figured out who it was and asked them to move. It went off all night long, making it hard to sleep.

Convenient location close to many attractions. Friendly front desk. Limited space in room. No view on 2nd level. Didn’t receive correct number of towels each night of our stay. Didn’t try out any of roof deck.

A cost effective hotel. Reasonable location, reasonable service, reasonable breakfast. Positives: comfortable bed. Negatives: breakfast lacking a little imagination and healthier options. During our stay one lift of two was not functional creating some inconvenience for guests.

Nice hotel in good proximity to the city. Highlights include the large size of the room, nice walk in shower, complimentary Dove bathroom products, very comfy bed. The breakfast room was nice, modern and clean. A great selection of food, and it was replenished promptly. Exactly what you would expect from a large chain hotel. We were very happy with our stay. The only drawback was the parking fee of 50$ per night- we did not park here as we found that to be quite pricey. We parked in private lot in walking distance for 50$ for two days.

The location is very convenient since it is right next to the green line D,E Lechmere station and it is walkable to Charles River and Kendall MIT as well as Central Square.

First thing we noticed was how friendly the staff was at check in. The room was a good size and clean. There’s a shopping plaza within walking distance (under 10 minutes) and the area seems safe. There were very faint sounds from truck passing periodically but it was not noticeable nor disruptive to sleep for us (floor 6). Breakfast was pretty typical of Holiday Inn (eggs, sausage/bacon, hash brown, cereals, yogurts, juices & coffee, breads/pastries and a couple fruit options.) The elevator does get a tiny bit slower in the last hour of breakfast but nothing too bad. It’s not the most updated but overall a great stay and pretty convenient to the colleges, downtown, and airport.

Great location but the room had plumbing issues which were never fixed even though we told the reception twice. The door didn’t close properly either. We had a twin bed room and when we came back, we found out that housekeeping had made one bed but not the other. Strange!

Nice hotel and room but our room could have been cleaned a little better. Paid $52 for parking and had to walk ton offsite parking because the 20 spot lot was full. Front desk said they would reimburse us $25 for parking but at checkout said since we booked through a 3rd party ($52) we could not get the refund.

Our room was extremely hot like the AC was not working correctly. Breakfast and the amount of people in mornings could be a little much. The front lobby is tight.
