Wonderful place to stay. Excellent views and service. Very pricey and the resort fee seems too high. Overall it was great.

Stay was just OK. Rooms were quite small and the room was in need of repairs. Overall prices were very expensive at the resort, way up from last year when we stayed. The resort was very short staffed. We had to track housekeepers down just to get fresh towels and a few days would go by before the room was cleaned . The sister property, The Beach Club is much nicer. Our second time on the property and I definitely would not stay at Harborside the next time, if there is a next time.

Nice location, nice extras but alittle dated regarding the anctual building and can use a refresh of paint. Relaxing space and pet friendly so we were happy with the trip.

The view was amazing, the room was clean and comfortable but a little older. The shuttle to downtown was convenient. Would definitely recommend.

It was beautiful. Loved every bit of it. I do wish you could buy snacks/drinks in the Beach Club hotel. Instead of going to the Harborside. Also, I wish there were a kid friendly meal at the tiki bar or the reel bar. I felt like there was nothing for kids to have for lunch by the pool. But besides that, we loved it. Next time, I will pack kid food!

Everything was great! Wish i could have stayed longer. I only put cleanliness as a 4 instead of a 5 because there was a bit of sand on the floor, which then got in the bed etc.

Great views of the harbor and wonderful pool areas. Unfortunately, there is no where to go to eat/sightsee within walking distance. Restaurants on site are barely adequate. I did enjoy the sun laying near the pool.

The safe didn’t work. We would have had to wait in our room for someone to come and reset it so we passed. We had a leak in the ceiling above the toilet, water all over the floor after a shower, bed too soft and sagging on one side. When we requested another room we had to wait until maintenance checked out the leak. Maintenance agreed that we needed to move and we were placed in a very nice room in the beach side resort.

Really nice resort with a great view overlooking the Harbor and the USS Yorktown WII aircraft carrier 👍 Enjoyed the big balcony in the evenings Charleston is a great city with lots of history

Staff was extremely helpful and explained to us exactly what they offered. Transportation to and from historical Charleston was fantastic. We saw Charleston from the night seen then the day seen with the market place. We will definitely come back.

We enjoyed our stay very much, in general satisfied with the accommodations, value for price was good as well as location to nearby restaurants and visitor attractions. A couple things that could be better, we called front desk for add'l towels + tp and waited over an hour + more than 1 trip to deliver. Bathroom could use some upgrades: barn door did not stay closed, sink faucet water pressure very light and drain clogged easily, shower/tub only had half glass door meant water easily sprayed all over the floor. Mini fridge needs replacement as temp dial was broken and freezer portion was full of ice. Rest of room was comfortable including bed, ceiling fan, temp control, good size, nice desk/sitting area, quiet room location with nice views, safe parking. Resort overall had great amenities we used (outdoor games, beach, store, bar, marina walks on the docks). Our trip was short, if longer would've gone to pool/hot tub and spa. It was nice stay overall and not busy with too many guests.

This is our second visit to the Charleston area. We will go back to Charleston but not this hotel. It was well overpriced to begin with but we had hopes it would be worth it. Go for the view - the view of the marina and pools was lovely. But, that's it. First, the jacuzzi tub in our room was dirty and in bad condition. It barely worked so we didn't try it. The shower barely turned on (its not hard to replace a faucet!) and there was not always hot water. The ceiling in the bathroom had bubbling paint - due to no venting and humidity. Second, the fireplace didn't work. The remote was missing and after asking for 2 days, we gave up. Why have a room with promised amenities if we can't use them? Third, cleanliness was at a basic level. Fourth, bed was uncomfortable. Fifth, no drawers to put clothes Its obvious this hotel relies on its views to charge this much. In all, we spent close to $400 per night for a tiny room with stated amenities that we could not use.

Absolutely beautifully decorated hotel with much attention to details! Great location with views of water and wildlife including adorable ducks, pelicans and flocks of ibis. Loved seeing the bridge and the naval ship lit up at night. Every meal in Charleston was scrumptious! We enjoyed touring the historic homes. All tour guides did a great job of being completely honest about Charleston’s unfortunate history regarding the slave trade and making sure African Americans are recognized for their tremendous contributions to Charleston and the United States.

While the property is amazing, the staff was not so good. I’ve had better service at the Holiday Inn. The restaurant staff wasn’t friendly, they seamed to be stressed. The problem was it wasn’t that busy. The whole place needs new management. I speculate that they are having trouble finding good help.

The stay at the Charleston Harbor Side hotel was wonderful. The hotel was very nice and we had a room with a beautiful view of the Charleston Harbor. Room was cleaned daily.

This hotel is in a perfect location with free shuttle to Charleston. Nice clean rooms but a bit small. The staff was courteous and attentive to your needs. Very Safe, quiet area, with plenty of parking

The overall stay was good. The hotel is a bit outdated in terms of decoration as well as technology but the shuttle service is super convenient And drivers are extremely nice and friendly!

The staff, bar, pool and exterior amenities were excellent not to mention the picturesque views. Our bathroom vanity was a pedestal so there wasn't much room to keep items in there. The shower head and water pressure were "sub-subpar" and the glass only went halfway so water got on to the floor each time. Also, our bathroom ceiling looked like it had amateurish repair done from a previous leak above. The Fish House restaurant on site was not even a remotely decent experience. We had the crab bisque soup, shrimp & grits and mahi tacos. The food was bland or 0 out of 5 stars. The server could have made it a better experience but she did not have a pleasant attitude and screwed up our order. On top of that she did not bring us a beverage that was requested twice and did not refill our other beverages despite requesting it. I took the opportunity to leave the server a note on the back of our receipt. I hope she learned from it. If it were not for hotel staff (including room service), interior bar staff, shuttle bus/staff (our driver was awesome),location, views, and pool/hot tub, I would give this resort experience a 1 out of 5.
