Beautiful resort. We went on a busy weekend so parking was a little hard to find on the resort. Restaurant/Bar staff & housekeeping were very friendly. Transportation to downtown is very easily accessible.

Great stay as a quiet hotel. Some weekend party activities… but shut down for sleep at night. Interior of rooms a little dated but serviceable. Would go again for a work trip.

It can use a semi-remodel. Very cute but worn out. Things like coffee downstairs were always with lines and waiting. Pool bar service was lacking except for Adam. The smaller pool needed regular cleaning. Not a lot of food choices during the day and later evening.

It was a perfect overnight get away for a date night child free. This was our second time being here.

The Charleston Harbor Resort and Marina is an aesthetic paradise. Truly. We learned upon arrival that both Harborside and Beach Club share amenities, so the options are unparalleled to other hotels in the area. Whether you get a friendly front desk staff is apparently a gamble. We went twice in a month and had entirety different experiences. Can't beat the visuals though. Highly recommend.

Everything was good except dining facilities were limited. There was a large private party that had overrun the bar area and we had trouble getting our food.

We stayed two nights at the main hotel. It was super clean! My only qualms were the small bathroom without a vanity area and the barn door to the bathroom that was rather squeaky and beat up in high touch point areas on said barn door. It had been painted over many times.
Otherwise, all the employees we encountered were kind and gracious, there were fun freebies like popsicles! We had harbor views which were absolutely worth the upgrades. Sitting on the balcony and watching the ships go past was so relaxing.

Resort in great location - walking distance to the harbor and provides a shuttle to downtown. Short drive to all the restaurants and bars. Room was inviting and clean with a view of the harbor. Pool area is like a resort with plenty of lounge chairs. Plan on returning for a family trip next time.

The room itself was adequate. The management appears to care more about the groups that book meetings there than about individual guests. The group played loud music that permeated the entire complex until 10 pm. Also, my wife took a quick shower (less than three minutes) with barely warm water, and when I tried to shower 30 minutes later, there was no hot or warm water at all!!

Enjoyed the stay but got stuck in the bathroom because the door got stuck. The jets didn’t work in the Jacuzzi tub.

Stay was just OK. Rooms were quite small and the room was in need of repairs.
Overall prices were very expensive at the resort, way up from last year when we stayed. The resort was very short staffed. We had to track housekeepers down just to get fresh towels and a few days would go by before the room was cleaned . The sister property, The Beach Club is much nicer. Our second time on the property and I definitely would not stay at Harborside the next time, if there is a next time.

Nice location, nice extras but alittle dated regarding the anctual building and can use a refresh of paint. Relaxing space and pet friendly so we were happy with the trip.

Room was cute and cozy and had sliding doors that opened up to the sand walkway and ocean. Beautiful!

The resort and amenities are amazing. My only complaint was that the room was very dirty.

The view was amazing, the room was clean and comfortable but a little older.
The shuttle to downtown was convenient. Would definitely recommend.

It was beautiful. Loved every bit of it. I do wish you could buy snacks/drinks in the Beach Club hotel. Instead of going to the Harborside. Also, I wish there were a kid friendly meal at the tiki bar or the reel bar. I felt like there was nothing for kids to have for lunch by the pool. But besides that, we loved it. Next time, I will pack kid food!

Everything was great! Wish i could have stayed longer. I only put cleanliness as a 4 instead of a 5 because there was a bit of sand on the floor, which then got in the bed etc.

Great views of the harbor and wonderful pool areas. Unfortunately, there is no where to go to eat/sightsee within walking distance. Restaurants on site are barely adequate. I did enjoy the sun laying near the pool.

They gave me the worst room in the hotel“resort”. Toilet didn’t work, walked down told the front desk. Next no door lock inside front door. Heat didn’t work the whole time I was there.
After complaining to “resort” staff they fixed toilet and second day fixed the broken lock.
For my inconvenience. They took off the resort amenity charges. I won’t return. How can you call a run down place a resort!

The resort is quite large with multiple buildings. Our room was in the older building. It was very nice but the bathroom was small and the vanity lighting was poor.

Hotel is nice and clean, but due for some upgrades. We had a great time and the property is beautiful. Would stay again.

Our only real complaint was the bathroom. Lightning was very inadequate (wife couldn't see to do her makeup; I couldn't see to trim facial hair). And the shower door was VERY weird. It only covered the front half of the shower, leaving the rear half opened, which led to a very wet floor and bathmat...and a cold booty during the shower!

The safe didn’t work. We would have had to wait in our room for someone to come and reset it so we passed. We had a leak in the ceiling above the toilet, water all over the floor after a shower, bed too soft and sagging on one side. When we requested another room we had to wait until maintenance checked out the leak. Maintenance agreed that we needed to move and we were placed in a very nice room in the beach side resort.

Very disappointed in the room. Bathroom door was coming off the hinges (pocket door) and horrible shower - not hot water and low flow. For the price paid, we expected something far superior. If our stay had been for more than 2 nights, we would have requested another room but it wasn't worth the hassle to move rooms.
