Slow check in otherwise excellent stay room immaculate and fabulous views from balcony. Highly recommend

If its location you are looking for this hotel is right in amongst all the bars, restaurants and right on the sea front. The hotel itself is dated, but for the price it was comfortable enough. Superb staff. Excellent breakfast choice. Pool area can get busy, but the sea is on your doorstep.

Kids club was amazing!

We were ment to be in a quite room, never slept for 4 nights for the noise from the strip breakfast was ok not out standing food cold at times. Sunbeds were so uncomfortable unless you were lucky enough to get one if the few good ones, the pool needs a good clean and a paint . Definitely would not book again !!!!

Shocking hotel and standards

Unfortunately this place was poorly managed and not maintained. Would not stay here again. The food options were disgusting.

Third time staying at Sol Tenerife
Perfect location
Staff are so welcoming

The hotel overall is nice and does the job, cold tap for the shower/bath didn’t work properly, the walls and balcony door block out noise very well but then the front doors are very hollow to the point you can hear the lift at 3am from all the party goers, bit counter productive. The pools are great although many rules such as no diving or inflatables which I can assume is because of the English drunks. The view was amazing being by the ocean front, entertainment was consistent and great and with the access to the seafront through the gate made it very convenient to access the restaurants with out having to go by the Veronica strip. If you want to avoid the noise I’d suggest booking with the oceanfront view and request a room as high as possible in B block.

The whole building was Old and unclean furnitures.
Sliding door was almost Come off. No sealant between frame and glass, it was scary for all of us.
This room was the 2nd time changed after balcony fence was fallen down while we were out. And they changed the room for us.
Not recommended.

Parking was a joke, no spaces for guests as folk parking then going shopping elsewhere

Excellent hotel and facilities.nearly every review i read before booking complained of the night time noise and music coming from the nearby veronicas, but with having our 9 year old son,we planned carefully and paid for an ocean view room right at the back of the hotel and WE DIDNT HEAR A THING!so its worth paying the extra to get a good nights sleep in the comfortable rooms, all the staff were very friendly and having chose the all inclusive option, the food and drink in the restaurant and hotel bar was of the highest quality!special mention to all the entertainment staff-especially the guys that ran the regular kids clubs who were very professional, polite and laid on endless activities for all the kids in a safe environment and our son loved every minute!i highly recommend this hotel and we will be back for sure!

Food excellent if a tad monotonous at lunch , room in desperate need of update i.e hand painted bath , badly chipped sink area , safe in room but no lock !
Staff could have been more friendly and attentive .

I think that the property was overrated. The rooms were small, bathrooms were old, even the towels were old! The beddings were and linens are limited. The pillows were small and uncomfortable. The hotel boast a front beach but you can't swim in it because it's deep. The pools are not heated and you have to fight for a space to stay by the pool. The service is also mediocre. I think I was over charged for what I paid for. For some reason, my Versailles Astoria stay cost the same price as Sol Tenerife and it is nothing close to a 4 star hotel.

Hotel was nice, right on the water.
But no plugs are a weird thing… except for the fridge and tv so you need to unplug these if you want a phone charger….

To noisy at night from local clubs and shops would not recommend getting room that backs on to the nightmare night life for young ravers shame as front beach great and poolside good a little tied the hotel
3.0
Terribly noisy and out-dated. Busy location and everything within reach but it’s impossible to sleep due to the noise from the bars and live music

This hotel was nice and clean. The noise from the night clubs is real! The rooms are not very sound proof. The location is very central and convenient. There are many restaurants and shops close by. Lots of pool chairs available and two pools.
Our morning walks had the beautiful backdrops of mountains on one side and the ocean on the other but we constantly had to step over broken glass, garbage, vomit and other unpleasant things! So sad that the tourists are so incredibly disrespectful of the Island.

Hotel and rooms very old and tired. Completely overpriced compared to other hotels in the area.

Clean, staff good , room bit small but nice , pools nice but cold , sun beds mostly taken up with towels that are there for hours before used . Food ok pleanty of choice but not very hot . Behind reception needs attention. Kettles needed in room .

Checking in was a bit of a chore as only one person checking in.
Christmas Dinner on the 25th exceeded my expectations, the staff were brilliant.

Being in Tenerife for the 5th time… this was the worse hotel I have stayed in the Canary Island so far, that’s rated as a “4star”
Rooms and hallways need to be renovated. Super outdated. Only 1 outlet in the room. Washroom ceiling/soffits are disgusting. Over priced for quality and service. Food quality is acceptable not the best for a 4 star. Laundry and gym hours are very limited . Would not recommend. Rooms have no sound Barrier… good luck sleeping at night around the excessive music … Checked out after 4 nights and switched over. Only good thing is it is near the beach side/view. Don’t recommend.

This is not a 4 * hotel. It is very noisy due to being beside Veronicas so take ear plugs if you won’t be out partying all night. Rooms badly need modernised, was there 4 nights and killed 6 cockroaches in my room, asked reception if they had a spray I could use to kill them but they didn’t have anything. Breakfast was good with plenty variety, pool area is too small for the size of the hotel, takes ages to get served at the pool bar.

The music lasted till 6:30 every morning and we had people next to us screaming and shouting. Plus arguyinh.

We had a family holiday here and loved every minute. Amazing entertainment staff with a big shout out to Nadia, Alex and Daniel who were fun and very friendly :) The acts were great as well. The nicest buffet food we’ve ever had, so many choices and lovely fresh meats and fish. Great location, right on the beach with a nice walk along the front. Lovely hotel, rooms and clean swimming pools. Would definitely come back again, thank you :)

Having been to this hotel before we chose to return. We were looking for an all inclusive relaxing holiday by a pool and were not disappointed. Couple of observations. The entertainment was not quite as good as on the previous visit. When the Disco next-door is operating the noise can be a little intrusive in the early hours. Balance this with an enthusiastic events team with plenty of activities for those who want them. The location on the sea front is excellent

The absolute worse hotel I’ve been to in my life. The hotel looks very dirty and to top it off when we got into our room we was greeted by cockroaches on the kitchen top and sink. I didn’t even get to explore the rest of the room before leaving. We went back to the concierge, he was a nice person, to get another room and the room we went into the toilets wasn’t working and there was red/blood looking liquids inside the bath. I was in and out of that hotel within 10 minutes! Absolutely horrendous I’ve also notified the hotel about this and got no response 0/5 experience!

Fabulous hotel right on the beach. Staff were amazing and very considerate. A little noisy at night but quietened down outside about midnight on our side. My only gripe was that the second lift was out of action for at least half the week which meant large queues at busy times and as I am not good on my legs this was an issue. All told wa lovely hotel but need to address the lift issues, as I believe it was just the same in Tower B.

Excellent location, the hotel & pools are very clean, exceptional housekeeping, a wide selection of food & drinks! The staff is extremely polite and helpful, thank you all for my amazing vacation at Sol Tenerife!

Great location by the sea and lovely for a walk along the promenade - right into Los Cristianos.Very clean and efficient. Staff work very hard from the lovely girls at reception checking in, to the dining room staff and the cleaning team. I read the negative reviews and emailed the Manager, Pablo, requesting Block B (away from noise of bars) and near my family. He emailed back and actioned my request - great customer service. I would say this hotel ticks the boxes for functional and efficiency - you get what you pay for. It was great sunbathing and listening to the Atlantic rolling sea.
Improvement: Sunbeds - better system should be used so people are not putting towels on beds and then leaving them unoccupied for hours. I stayed in another hotel where people booked their beds 2 days in advance. They came down and lady ticked off their name on the list. If they didn't come down by 10:00 a.m., then their sunbed was available for anyone to use.
I've stayed in a variety of different hotels in my time from basic to luxury and I would say that for the cost, including breakfast, location - it's fine.
