An amazing stay!

I loved absolutely everything about this place. The room was beautiful and it felt like home. The staff are so friendly and helpful and it is located in such a great area that is close to everything. I couldn’t recommend this place enough! Thank you again :)

Perfect Stay with Easy Self Check-In

I recently stayed at this lovely house and had an amazing experience. The self check-in process was seamless, with clear instructions from the host, making it super convenient. Room: 5/5** The room was spotless, cozy, and well-equipped with everything I needed, including a comfortable bed and fresh amenities. Self Check-In: 5/5** Self check-in was quick and easy, ideal for any arrival time. Amenities: 5/5** The house had great amenities, including a well-stocked kitchen, fast Wi-Fi, and inviting common areas. Location: 5/5** Located in a quiet yet convenient area. Overall: 5/5** A fantastic stay with a perfect blend of comfort and convenience. Highly recommended!

Stunning

The location is easy to get to and out of the noisy city which was wonderful. The room was cozy and adorable..the whole entire space, is great. There is a kitchen and lounge area and honestly, I just really loved the vibe. Plus a rain shower head.

Sharing a bathroom with strangers. This was dull disclosed in the listing, but I still don't like it.

Lovely place to stay. Perfect for travellers.

Loved the decoration. The kitchen is fully-equiped. Everything is clean and organized. Easy check-in and check-out. Safe and quite neighbourhood.

A bit far from transit. Might not be suitable for seniors.

Nice, comfy and clean; walls are thin so some noise at night

It’s very clean and it has a very comfy and cozy vibe. The private bath of the private room is really nice.

The walls are a bit thin so caution if you get woken up easily by sound.

It is always a pleasure to stay here, it is my third or fourth time. It meets all my expectations, always clean bathrooms, a very spacious and organized kitchen and, above all, peace of mind.

Good, comfortable, would definitely do it again.

Nice, quiet location that's close to the bus station (5-15 min walk). The quiet ambiance at the hotel. The coffee machine with available pods. The quick responses by the host to the Whatsapp texts.

Linens can be cleaner.

Simplemente HERMOSA!!!

Es sencillamente hermosa!!! Una casa muy linda y bien preparada para que te sientas con privacidad. El personal extremadamente amable y atento con las necesidades. El café es un lindo detalle, poder tomar un café para iniciar el día fue perfecto. La cama increíblemente cómoda.

Un poco lejos del downtown, aún así con excelente comunicación. Además la tranquilidad de la zona hace que valga la pena.

Fijn en aangenaam verblijf met behulpzame host.

Leuke plek waar je volledig ingerichte keuken mag gebruiken. Vriendelijk ontvangst, leuke restaurants op wandelafstand. Nette kamers!

jammer van de gedeelde badkamers, maar dat was ook meteen het enige mindere puntje.

Neocolonial Nouveau Magic

We could have paid the same amount to stay in a crap hole downtown. I'm so glad we stayed here instead. The house was very charming. Beautiful artwork all around, furniture was antique, and the bed was very comfortable. I felt like I was in Europe, living like a queen. The house was clean and kept up to date with nice amenities. Easy to find street parking and neighbors felt safe. Overall, it was such a romantic and fun experience. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

The front of the house was beautiful. I wanted to take a picture, but there was some orange fencing that obstructed the photo. I think there was work being done or something. Not a big deal. Loved everything else about it.

Overall, found it to be a great location and stay.

Location was great! We rented bikes and were able to get into and around town easily. But the free parking on the street was nice as well. Really liked the ease of access and quiet neighbourhood.

The fridge in the room felt like overkill and the AC unit was extremely loud. Fortunately we didn't need the AC unit, we were able to keep the balcony door cracked open a bit overnight for some airflow. The shared kitchen has a giant fridge with labeled sections for each occupant, so the additional fridge in the room felt a bit redundant and could have been more space for luggage.

Delightful

Very lovely style of decor! The towels and bedsheets were so soft and we slept so well after a long flight. Easy access to the property using the information given beforehand. Arrived to some lovely snacks in the room. A shared bathroom but always very clean and never had to wait to use it. Very easy to park as lots of street parking. The staff were super helpful and fast to reply when I had questions and queries via message.

The TV kept loosing WiFi signal so I had to keep logging it back in but not a big issue.

Convenient & fair price for 1 night stay

Quirky decor that we liked. Good location easy to park. Kitchen is superbly equipped (but we didn't use) Fair price considering the astronomical cost of Vancouver hotels. The owners replied promptly to enquiries

Not fans of shared bathroom. The toilet space was more like an airplane toilet. Biggest complaint was the lock ,it was small fiddly & unreliable.. We appreciate that retrofitting an old house is hard. Consider a bolt lock & maybe a sign on outside occupied /free that can be turned by hand

Very good stay overall.

Clean room, comfy bed, good kitchen amenities, lovely welcome treats and drinks. Able to arrange later checkout. Easy walking distance to bus stop.

Room too hot despite using fan provided. Aircon would be much more comfortable. The TV stopped working on the last night.

Visiting Vancouver for nearby family gathering; suited our purpose. A little quirky but good!

Nice kitchen & dining nook setup for our (self-provided) breakfast before checking out.

We knew in advance that bathroom would be shared. Not our preference, but not many options that weekend and there was no problem.

I have struggled to come into the building with the code. At 12 o clock at night it was not a nice experience. The taxi driver phoned the owners and then the door opened.

Very clean and though out.

Very Clean. So clean that at first I was uncomfortable about using anything. All decor and furnishings were top of the line. It was a quiet place to stay and very well organized. I would recommend it for any traveler who likes cleanliness and organization.

There was little interaction with the host. Getting information about the city from the host or any venue associated with the home was not available. It took me the first night to understand the organization method and expectations.

A truly quintessential Airbnb experience.

The neighborhood felt safe and was quiet. The Decor was insanely cool! The pictures don’t do this place justice because I am still floored by the attention to details and overall aesthetic! The bed was incredibly comfy and I considered booking another night for the mattress alone!

Not a super walkable place, but that’s also Vancouver in general. But parking was free so I can’t complain!

Fantastic stay for solo/ couple travelers

The space was gorgeous. I enjoyed the steps to ensure privacy. As well the kitchen space available was fantastic. I wish I had taken advantage of the kitchen. The rooms were clean and cozy. The owners were kind and helpful.

The stay was perfect for me since I am a solo traveler. I don't have any gripes or nitpicks regarding the stay. I think the owners did a great job at ensuring my comfort and helping me throughout my stay.

The house was beautifully decorated in a nice quiet neighborhood. The other travellers staying there were nice too.

Nice place but price a bit too high for location

The rooms where really good, beds comfy and clean. Great kitchen with everything to prepare ur own meals. We never met the host but comms where going very well via chat. Checkin process was well explained and all the codes worked to get in and out. Charlo was super supportive with the blocked toilet and fixed immediately while we were downtown.

Place is a bit remote. We booked months in advance and since Vancouver akkomodation prices have gone crazy, this was the best deal we got, but expect to commute 45 minute by public transport to the interesting areas. Hence the rating is not top. Host did his best and room was fine, but for this price its too far away from the center.
