Staff was great. Room was nice. We got the Apartment which worked well for us to have some light meals in the room with an almost completely separate bedroom from living area. Garage is a little tight if you have a large vehicle.

The rooms are spacious and well-appointed, the breakfast is abundant and offers a good variety. The property is located right in front of a large, beautiful park where Goethe's garden house still stands. The personnel are friendly. In general, Weimar was a delight.

Spacious quiet rooms on the edge of beautiful Gothe Park. A short walk to historic Weimar attractions, shops and restaurants. The hotel restaurant was excellent for dinner with a reasonably priced wine list. Vegetarian offerings available. Even a shoe polisher available near the elevators to buff out scuff marks from your daily walks.

The hotel is ok for one or two nights. The staff at the reception is semi friendly, at breakfast the ladies were great and friendly! The bathroom floor was not clean, the rest was ok. All in all I can recommend the Hotel if you expect nothing special.

Hôtel service was weak at reception as we were sent to a parking 20 Minutes walk away from the hotel. (Our car is a 4x4 which is 2.10 meter high and could not enter the hotel parking) The next day the other receptionist was sorry for that (as we could have left the car in front of the hotel) and was very kind and offered us a compensation charging only half the breakfast cost.

Very attractive hotel facing parkland easy walking distance to beautiful old town of Weimar. We had booked a standard double room but were upgraded under Expedia VIP program to a Suite which was very classy. The room had everything we look for in a hotel and parking in the underground carpark was 20 Euro per night. We had a lovely dinner and drinks on the hotel terrace using our VIP vouchers. The Hotel and the sights and ambience of Weimer is highly recommended

Very comfortable, quiet, clean accommodations in an excellent location next door to Goethe Haus in classy, old Weimar. The Dorint features a spa but their response for massages was too slow to take advantage; best to book ahead. Tight squeeze getting in and out of the Dorint garage. Spartan restaurant design but food fresh.

A completely delightful hotel. A superb location for walking around Weimar. Extremely comfortable. The decor is first rate. Breakfasts are something to look forward to. Staff very courteous and helpful. A room overlooking Goethepark provides a wonderful view.

This property was very convenient to anything you would need in Weimar. I did have an issue with the AC and the front desk immediately sent a tech person to my room to see if it could be fixed. They could not fix it and promptly gave me another really nice room overlooking the garden at Goethe house. I was extremely pleased w the front desk and service overall. Hotel was clean and well maintained. If I had to complain about anything it would be the cost of breakfast.....so would anxiously stay here again in the future.

Clean and well appointed hotel in great city center location. Safe parking (but 20 Euros). Friendly staff and modern clean room. No kettle in room and Breakfast very expensive but plenty of local Cafes to choose from. Biggest issue - you pay extra for a park view room, which is nice but you cannot open the window as the smokers are below you outside the hotel entrance. I do not understand why well located luxury hotels let people mess up the front of the hotel and spoil the experience for those paying extra for rooms at the front!

I had never been to Weimar before and chose this hotel without much information. It was really very nice and extremely convenient. Its about two minutes walk from the Frauenplan and the rest of the center. Its also across the street from a large park in one direction and across the street from Goethes back yard in another direction (although he doesnt live there any more). The building is large and spacious and very pleasant. Breakfast was not included in the room rate. Im sure it must have been very nice, but it was quite expensive, so we opted to just walk a few minutes to one of the cafés in the center and have breakfast there.

Dorint Hotel is very well located. Adjacent to the main park and a short walk from the town centre. If silence is required this establishment fits the bill. To maximize your budget, opt out of breakfast and head to Elmi´s at the market square where the town hall is located.
