The room stunk, the TV didn’t work, the room was dirty, the towels had holes in them, the pillows were old and stained and stunk, I received no help whatsoever from the people at the front desk, there is no pool, contrary to the advertisement that says that there is a fence around the pool for young young children. I could go on forever, however the real kicker was that my $200 deposit collected at the front desk when I checked in was NOT RETURNED Because apparently, Housekeeping said that my room had an odour after I checked out and they went into clean. MY ROOM HAD AN ODOUR BEFORE I EVEN CHECKED IN! I alerted the staff up upon my arrival, they offered nothing to compensate me, not even to change rooms, AND THEN HAD THE AUDACITY TO CHARGE ME $200 BECAUSE OF IT. Getting a hold of head office has proven fruitless, so I’ve had to file a customer protection complaint with the ministry. What a headache. Needless to say, I’ll never be returning to this hotel, and I suggest you save yourself the trouble and book somewhere else.

It was much better than I was expecting. The price was very reasonable and the room was in great condition. The bed was very comfortable and the sheets were soft. Overall I was pleased with what I saw.

Very basic hotel but that was reflected in the price. The room was fine. The towels had holes in them and the pillows on the bed were awful. They were old and smelled bad.

Not what they used to be. But for what I needed it was good enough.

We tried out Travelodge a couple of weeks ago to see if it could be the new place to stay, as I’m in Windsor typically every other week and it wasn’t BAD, aside from the hotel not having more towels after I gave ours to room service and having to wait for the towels we originally had at arrival to be done in the dryer before I could even shower, which was extremely bizarre for a hotel, but again, the stay overall wasn’t awful and it was affordable in this messed up economy, so we gave it another go because we ended up having to book a hotel last minute this week. This time I walked into the room we were given and it hadn’t even been cleaned yet from the previous guest, so I had to go back and tell the front desk. I was given a new room, which was on the ground floor and was at least clean, but I noticed had a broken lock on the window, so I just blocked it from being able to open, especially since it backed onto a field. Then the shower drain was clogged so when I had a shower, the tub started filling up with water right away. Like the room service people must know this, since they’re the ones who have to turn it on to clean it. The pillows are old and absolute crap. I typically feel bad complaining, but the list of poor qualities of this hotel grew so quickly that an honest review seems most appropriate because overall, this place just seems like it’s run by people who really don’t give a sh.t, so we’ll definitely find another hotel and you probably should too.

The room wasn’t the best Travelodge we’ve stayed in but nor was is the worst. The room was large and all the areas used were clean. The bathroom had areas which could have had more attention to the cleanliness, like under the sink and inside the toilet roll holder area as well as skirting areas and joins of the floor to the walls. There were no signs for the door to not disturb and every morning house keeping knocked about half past ten, which was a bit annoying. Breakfast was between 7am and 9am so too early for us to take advantage of.
