Hotel was very clean and well maintained. Bed was comfortable. Staff was great!! Hot breakfast had a good variety for everyone and was well stocked. Will definitely go back!! You can also rent a golf cart from the hotel to drive around the island and on the beach.

I love this hotel! The rooms are always so nice! I love the free breakfast and the happy hour they do each afternoon! It made me happy to see that they were working on projects during the off season to improve the property! I will always stay here!!! ❤️

The room has some small repairs done but it was patched up (visible signs) and the blanket on the bed had a visible burn spot. The price is good, breakfast is good and the location is good. The front desk was kind. If you don't want to spend a lot of money, stay here. All in all we did like our stay aside from those minor things.

The room they offered was really musty to the point where I could not imagine staying there. I had paid for two nights and talked to the manager who mansplained to me about how rooms are just going to be like that because we are in South Texas. They refunded me only for less than half of what I paid for the two nights, so I had to pay $115 to not stay there and then had to still find another place.

Enjoyable stay overall. Hotel is clean. It’s a no frills place but totally suitable for us n our pup for the weekend. Dog spot is astroturf n my picky pup was not a fan but out back was perfect place to take her. Check in was fine, staff was pleasant. They let us check in a bit early which was great. First room they gave was an error n not ready, but super fast fix and it was downstairs which we had requested, so perfect. Bottled water n popcorn gift was a nice touch. Breakfast was standard, again no frills. Second morning we hit up breakfast at 8, it goes to 9:30, no meat. Looks like it was sausage gravy but was out and no signs of a refill, but plenty of other items to choose from. Pool and outdoor area in the parking lot is open until 12am. We didn’t use either, but they seemed okay. We did appreciate no restrictions on golf cart parking! We were able to pull it up right to our door n leave the truck parked all weekend. The room itself was sufficient, a few things like wobbly faucet in the shower and flickering light above table, but everything worked n we weren’t bothered overall. Sound did carry from other rooms, tv possibly? Nice thing was smart TV! Overall we truly enjoyed our stay, loved having our pup with us. Great option if traveling with pets! We will stay here again. Thanks!

Breakfast was subpar at best, they are usually out of food by 8 am and nobody bothers to check the food and refill it as needed. OJ was out most of the time i was there. Food was either burnt or cold no in-between. The cleaning and front desk staff just hang out behind the counter in the mornings chit chatting and nobody is checking on guests making sure their stay is good, that they have what they need. Nobosy willing to check people out or answer questions even as simple as where is the ice machine without freaking out and getting someone. The cleaning people took our dirty towels never left clean towels so we had to get pool towels from fromt office just so we could shower. The room was really nice tile floors nice bathroom. There's a small stream waterway behind the hotel that has alligators in the water.

I was a little bummed out that the nice little seafood restaurant across the parking lot with Guinness on tap is now a bakery. We could walk back to our room from there. Of course, I don't blame the hotel for that. We enjoyed our stay. We were impressed that the floors were mopped and the towels were changed daily.

Greeting at front desk was so warm, friendly and upbeat! Clean rooms, large TVs, and comfy bedding. Love the mirror with interior lighting. Not only served bkfst, but had a happy hour. They offered beer andCocktail dogs in BBQ sauce the night we attended. They also had beer and spritzers. Nice offerings! Our stay was enjoyable, as usual! Thanks for everything.

Property was just ok. Pretty sure there was a puddle of unrobe in the walkway to our room. The price was great but probably would have spent more $$ had I known. The AC was struggling & sounded like a jet plane taking off every few minutes when it would kick on.

The roos were very clean and comfortable. It seemed to be maintained well. The only negative would be the loud cars and other people playing their tvs too loud. That of course is no fault of the property. To be expected. The breakfast was excellent! Highly recommend this place.

Everything was good with the hotel but unfortunately some terrible neighbors made it not so pleasant. If you want to smoke don’t do it inside your hotel room because all surrounding neighbors will be able to smell it.

This was our first time staying at the property. We thought it was convenient to everything and had good parking. The only issues that we had with the room was that there were no hooks in the bathroom to hang our PJ's or toiletry bags. There was a small "closet"type shelf in the bedroom, but that really wasn't very convenient to the bathroom. It also would have been nice to have a small table and chairs in the bedroom over by the window to sit and read and a place to put a snack and beverage. It is uncomfortable to sit in the bed and eat. There was a rolling desk chair in the room, but if you have a room that sleeps 2 people there should be accomodations for 2 people. Desk chairs are not very comfortable. The breakfast foods were good, but the coffee was kind of weak. If you like stronger coffee, bring your own coffee maker for the room and brew your own.

Location is great, staff if awesome, property and rooms are clean, pool closes @12am. The only bad thing or inconvenience is the parking….they have parking specifically for go-carts but people still take the regular parking spots!!…parking is limited

The location was good. The staff was amazing. It was clean the only thing I didn’t like which the hotel has nothing to do with unless they have a designated smoking area. Our neighbor put a chair out in front of his door to smoke and there were cigarette butts everywhere, dr pepper bottle full of butts he spilled his coffee all over the sidewalk his cigarette box on the air conditioner. It was just nasty.
