Denise checked us in and was extremely pleasant. When we needed something like toothpaste and a blanket, the staff that helped each time was very kind and friendly. The only uncomfortable thing was coming in after a movie to our door being opened. Whoever cleaned our room left it ajar with the bathroom light on.

Booked through Expedia Showed up to check in and were told our reservation would not honored They gave us a paper to to go to nearby hotel for a room We went to that one and they said they nothing for us The second place tried some of there partners But we’re not able to help So drove home at 1130pm Not very happy Expedia made good on the refund

We stayed for two nights. In town for a 40th high school reunion. The hotel from the outside looked nice and was located near many restaurants and stores. The room looked nice until my husband started looking for an outlet for his CPAP. That is when he found spider webs, spiders, other bugs all around the base of the bed. As I was walking to the bathroom I felt something fall in my hair. After running my fingers through my hair I found nothing, but a few minutes later I felt something biting my shoulder under my dress. The spider that fell from the ceiling ended up in my dress. The next night my husband found another spider on the ceiling. It was black and had a very hard body. The bathroom had a few bugs in it too. The breakfast wasn’t very good. The selection was limited. At check out I told the person at the desk about the spiders and the lack of cleanliness of the room. She proceeded to tell me that she too had seen a spider as I described on her desk that morning and pill bug (roly-poly) in the hallway. Hopefully they will invest in some extermination.

Very bad smell in the elevators. Pool has been shutdown for two years. Air condition is very loud and very close to the bed. Found multiple kinds of insects. Bathroom shower head is very bad. Drain was clogged. Bathroom is very small you can't close the door without squeezing yourself. Breakfast is very poor. Receptionist was rude because we asked for shower drain to be opened. I should've taken pictures to upload them here.

Location is convenient for the Detroit Metro area, but if you actually like to sleep at night go elsewhere. We reserved a King in one reservation and got a Accessible room. The A/C was incredibly loud and made it difficult to even watch TV. For the second reservation there, they couldn't even get the two King rooms ready by mid-afternoon. These rooms also had the deafening A/C. They invested in modern controllers but have ancient A/C units.

This property is definitely unlike the pictures I’m not quite sure how it has a high review ranking. For the location i expected better but it was absolutely terrible the building is old needs much renovation permanent stains in carpet and couch i felt very uncomfortable there. The first room we check in the shower was so bad the shower liner was dirty with mold and smelled terrible when we asked to switch rooms there was no issue but the head of housekeeping i assume came to look at the room we were in i told her the room bath tub was dirty which it was too me or permanent staining I guess because she told me it wasn’t dirty. We did switch rooms but it was just not comfortable the place needs serious renovation it’s old and outdated and just doesn’t seem like the rooms get a real clean, build up on dust/dirt on the switches like really just terrible. We ended up checking out a day early because i truly couldn’t take it anymore, and I’ve stayed a plenty Hyatt hotels before but this was just terrible. Though the room itself was bad the staff at the front desk were very nice and helpful

The room was clean, comfortable and well lit. Except for the make up area, which is actually in the living room by the sink, which I thought was kind of weird having half the bathroom in your bedroom. Also, the hairdryer had like a 1 foot cord on it, which makes it incredibly difficult to blow dry anyone’s hair. My first initial call to this hotel to see if I could check in early was greeted by not so pleasant Woman whoever picked up the phone. I would’ve given my trip Five stars, however, upon checking out, they charged me an additional $125.50? They’re claiming it was a glitch? I stayed on them with a call to my credit union making sure that charge was dropped. It seems like every hotel has hidden charges. It’s always good to call the hotel before and ask specifically what I’m going to be charged for. But then when I went to the front desk, it was kind of straightened out? But I highly doubt if I will use this hotel again.

Everyone was very nice. I was greatly disappointed due to no pool. Everywhere i looked about property pool was available. Staff say haven't been up and running in about 2 years . Brearkfast buffet was borderline continental. Wouldn't stay there again.

house keeping was ask for 3 times we stayed 7 days the 1st time they came took dirty towels and empty trash. 2nd time came in made beds did not take out trash or dirty towels .Never clean the bathroom. We went to get clean towels every days .3rd time was the night before we left they came in and clean . I do have to say the 2nd day we were there, a wonderful women at the front desk I think her name is Alice maybe I know it starts with A sorry help with a room change.

I can’t give very much on our stay, because we were unable to stay at the hotel. The experience with the management and representatives of Hyatt I can speak on. I wasn’t able to board our plane due to me loosing my wallet. Right away I tried to get another flight but they had nothing available same day. So in turn we had to cancel our plans. I called the hotel and since I purchased the trip with Expedia they wouldn’t even talk to me. The Hyatt said we had to talk to Expedia regarding if they can refund or a partial refund. I called Expedia, they said it was up to the hotel to reimburse for the stay. The Hyatt said no refund so we lost money on a hotel for something that was an accident. I tried speaking with the hotel and they wouldn’t talk to me they tried to put it back on Expedia. So I won’t ever stay at any Hyatt hotel going forward, I know it’s not there problem I lost my wallet that’s my fault, but I thought they would at lease only charge me for 1 night not both nights knowing the situation.

It was kids knocking on my door for a hour we caught them, they said they was going to call the front desk and tell them we was smoking weed in the room after confronting them about kicking my door hard, we was down stairs trying to complain, because we couldnt call, and she came at us and told us no smoking in the room, i told her to come in and smell for herself she denied and i only came because google said pool, get here they said no pool since 2022 and cant get a refund because though google say it the website dont.
