On Arrival was told by the staff we hadn't paid for our room. produced our receipt for the stay, after 20mins of him being on the phone telling us we couldn't have a room key he someone else turned up and sorted it, (original guy) then swore at me and my husband. room was run down and very worn out, bathroom was very small, and had alot of mould, was extremely loud all day and night.

Check in is at 3pm! Thatnis super late. Upon arrival front desk person was very unprofessional. I was assigned a room that was not what I had reserved. I had reserved a queen size bed and this room had 2 twin beds together with a very thin bigger mattress holding them together. You could easily sink between the two beds. I went back to the front desk and showed that my reservation stated a "queen size bed". The front desk lady said she was busy and that she was working alone. She also said that she did not know which rooms had queen size beds bc she was new. I told her to call and ask housekeeping lady. She said she was too bisy and that she had other business she needed tot ake care off. She told.me to wait 20-30 minutes and then she could help me. I demanded her to give me the room I had paid for ASAP. I am a paying costumer that had been traveling for a long time and had to wait till 3pm to be checked in. I was not willing to wait another 30 minutes for her to finish whatever she was working on. After another 15 minutes I was moved to another room. This room was even smaller. Showe was extremely small even for one person. Whater splashes everywhere and floor gets soaked. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anybody. Definitely not worth the price!

They had problems locating my booking on arrival. Room extremely hot, no air conditioning and fan borrowed from reception did not work. No reply before trip to the question asked about parking so issue on arrival. Staff friendly and tried their best

first of all the hotel in in the center of Koln and you have the Dome within a nice stroll. I chose that for a night stop traveling with my family. I know that it was not a luxury hotel but the level is out of the standards of the hotels listed by expedia. the price psyd for one night was indeed 340 euros for three. The hotel is really un bad shape and needs a radical renowation. only the bathroom seem restored quite recently. the room is not certainly what was shown in the picture. I think that the room image is a fake. the carpet is full of stains and the odor is not pleasant. even the linens were not fully white. about the services, they are absent. the vendor machine has no water. really a bad experience. i suggest no one to step there an to expedia to remove from its advertisements.

Big and clean room. Hotel located in a small street but noisy outside and inside from the ventilation. Bad service and poor breakfast for the value. Parking available with no surveillance.

Very old interior with smelly carpets . The shower is very small and smell bad . Old furniture . Very limitted parking spot and I had to pay 1 euro perc15 min in street next to the hotel and even that was very difficult to find .

They gave away our reserved room. Then they gave us a room that was a single bed which was not equivalent to a kind bed. Then they gave us a better room but had no hot water and the toilet didn’t flush well. Overall I would stay away from here and the reception was rude if you can only speak English.

Nice little hotel; a bit tired but clean and tidy. Staff helpful. The area isn’t the best in Köln but safe. Breakfast very adequate, and chef is nice. Would recommend for a short stay.

Not a bad stay, all staff in hotel were friendly and helpful. Major downside was price and the level of amenties in the room. No tea and coffee making facility in room, very poor shower with intermittent hot water. I paid £250 for 3 nights and it was for sure not worth that

It is located in a small street, its quiet and clean overall. Its easy to reach, 4 stops by bus from central station, and a 25 mins walk if you choose to do so. In 5-10 mins walking distance, there are a lot good restaurant and bar and grocery store. Will stay here again if visit the city again.

Having used this hotel many times before I emailed well in advance requesting and early check in and room at the front of the hotel which was ignored. When I arrived I was refused an early check in and told I was on the 5th floor and the lift was broken, refused to try and find an alternative room On a lower floor no apology or explanation of any kind. Almost 80 stairs to climb. The room was tired and worn the bed was 2 singles pushed together the light switches were at the head of the bed behind the pillows so when you moved you either switched them on or off. There was no privacy as the window had to be wide open due to the intense heat the blind was attached to the velux style window so everyone in the building opposite could see in. Hot water was temperamental. The shower was over a very high sided bath where the shower curtain only covered half so more often than not you flooded the bathroom when taking a shower. I needed an Elastoplast and asked reception and was just told NO

Awful room. Nothing like pictures. Staff seemed to not want to be there. Whole building smelt. No air con. Opening window let stench of bins in. Parking is not really parking. Almost scratched car in process of parking. Left and had to book another hotel after seeing the room and they refused to refund. Absolutely DO NOT book this place

I booked a three bedroom for me and my two friends between April 6th-11th, we arrived late on April 6th to book in and sue to a slight mistake we had to pay an extra €200 on top of the €421 already charged, this ruined the rest of our break. Also one day I left the key behind reception to pass on to one of my friends, I told the receptionist his name and he refused to give my friend the key even with ID.
