The room was very old and dirty and smelt bad. Stains everywhere… from bathtub to towels. Need renovations, not much love, put into it by the owners. Website says free breakfast, but there was only coffee. No cream or milk. The bed was comfortable.

The room very dated, with rusty refrigerator and light fixtures in bathroom, the room has a damp odor with poor ventilation, floor sticky. Was supposed to have breakfast and they had nothing but coffee. The exterior of the building was deceiving and we thought inside be also new and nice. The staff were pleasant.

The hotel was nice and staff was excellent, my only problem is that the people across the hall kept me up all night playing Ang screaming in the hallway and slamming doors and falling against the ways, I went there to relax but that didn’t happen a waste of my money

The area was very safe. The room was pretty decent. Bathroom was clean. The kitchen was clean. The top sheet kept coming off the bed so I don't know if that was on there correctly but beyond that it was a great stay and they were awesome with me and my pets that I was traveling with. The grab and go breakfast was good. We needed extra towels and they were right there ready to give them to us! When we got there they gave us a choice between two different rooms. They had a picnic patio area that had picnic tables and a grill. Even though we didn't utilize that that was nice to see that for people to use! The location was great as it was very near a few good restaurants! Would definitely stay there again!

The location of this hotel was perfect for my business meetings. Less than 1.5 miles to Oakland University. Very nice surroundings, wooded area with sidewalks. Plenty of restaurant choices all within a 5 minute drive. My room was very large and the bed comfortable. Floors were dated. There is no in room coffee maker, but there is coffee with breakfast in the morning. Breakfast is sparse - oatmeal, muffins and nutrigrain bars. Overall, I had a good budget experience.

Check in was quick and easy. I noticed a slight, unpleasant smell when I entered the room. There was a stain on the comforter. The floor seemed dirty. I attempted to take a shower, but the water was only freezing or scalding, and the tub would not drain. (Water was still in the tub more than 12 hours later.) The breakfast is very minimal.

When we arrived I was informed the hotel overbooked the double queen rooms so we would have to have a single bed and pullout sofa. The pullout sofa had no bedding and also a dirty towel was stuffed inside the sofa when we opened it. After one use the keys stopped working so my family had to wait in the hall why I went to the front desk. The shower towels had hairs on them. The breakfast was poor. The best parts were the location and the people.

So old & outdated but the outside is nice. They advertise all over about being able yo cook in ur "kitchen" yet there was No....NONE....NOTHING to cook with. Not a single dish or pan or even a fork for that matter. Bathroom is gross i didnt even want to take a shower The breakfast they also advertised is packets or oatmeal & ceral bars

Unfriendly night staff, we had to come back and change rooms because one of them had the additional lock broken and other time because the keys wouldn’t work. Guests expect the hotel would proactively take care of these. Rooms definitely need more and deep cleaning

The room wasn’t clean and the lamp shades and the kitchen cabinets were very sticky. The bathtub had gunk coming out as we shower which indicates it may not have been cleaned before. The facility doesn’t even have drinking water on site. Will not return here

Good price if you are on a tight budget. The place is run down and needs some remodeling. If you are one to complain about things, dont stay here. The kicker was no one on staff when we tried to check out. Yes it was 5:30AM. But I had to call the reservation number. The guy tried telling me that check out time wasnt until 11AM. They finally called someone that lives close to come in.

The hotel is not properly staffed with a cleaning service. Rooms are not cleaned or sanitized on a rotation that is needed for business. I had to ask for a new room 2 times for a total of 3 rooms. One room was missing a mattress. One room had a mattress that looked like a crime scene. The staff was sweet and let me know why it’s designed like this; however, pick an extended stay in the surrounding areas, not this one.

We had to find another hotel. No one was at the front desk totalk with about moving rooms. So we left. There was toothpaste in thre spots on the carpet, the air conditioning wasn't working, the bathroom was filthy, there was food in the kitchen drawers.
