About this house rental

Cape Style Home, with air conditioning, that has been freshly painted throughout with brand new kitchen and granite countertops. Two living rooms with a gas fireplace in one of them. Freshly painted deck off the living room with above ground pool. Walk from living room to pool within two steps. There are two bedrooms upstairs (One has queen sized bed and the other has full sized bed) , along with a partially finished basement which has a big bedroom with a queen sized bed and big closet. There are beautiful gardens and a private backyard.

Valerie's house was clean and in a nice, quiet neighborhood. Great location for exploring Bar Harbor and Acadia, and close to anything you could need in Ellsworth. The pool was very refreshing after a day of hiking! We would definitely stay again in the future!

The house is very clean and we had plenty of room for our family. The pool and outside area are well kept and the kids enjoyed swimming. All the comforts of home and communication with owners was very easy.

I would definitely stay at this location again. The host was accommodating, the house was easy to access and close to Bar Harbor and outdoor activities, the house was well equipped with all the necessary supplies, the house was clean and spacious, and the community was pleasant. Our grandkids really loved the pool. The house was clean and spacious. It was about 20 miles from Acadia /Bar Harbor.areas. Communication was good with host. We requested extra towels and had them the next morning. SENIORS may not be comfortable in this house because the stairs are narrow, steep and have no hand rails, and there is no bathroom on the floors where the sleeping areas are. Also , if you mind the heat, only the LR and one bedroom are airconditioned. The other upstairs bedroom was too hot to sleep in, even with a fan, while we were there in July.

We really enjoyed our stay at Valerie’s house. It was very comfortable and a good location in a quiet area. It was just the right distance away from the busy Bar Harbor. It was too chilly to enjoy the above ground pool, but we loved the fire pit! The beds were comfortable and they have plenty of kitchen things for making a few meals at home. Loved the area and exploring Acadia! Would stay again.

Valerie was a wonderful host. The house was a great place for our family to land after busy days in and around Acadia. It's about a 30 minute drive to Acadia and Bar Harbor. Proximity to Ellsworth makes grocery runs and other necessities very convenient.

what a wonderful property. exactly what we needed for our family of 4. about 20-30min from Acadia and Bar Harbor. the house was perfect, the pool was an added bonus! Would highly recommend this house. very clean. easy to contact Valerie. you won't be disappointed :)

We had a great time and the kids loved the pool. There are a couple things I would change but honestly nothing to make a fuss over. It was in a quiet little area and away from the craziness of bar harbor traffic which was a bonus. We would return

Nice little cottage in a quiet neighborhood. The wonderful weather and setting made us not want to leave! So peaceful! It’s just a short drive to Walmart and other stores and convenient for visiting Acadia National Park and other area attractions. The only thing that could make it better is if the bathroom was on the same level as the bedrooms or if the stairs were less steep—a little difficult to navigate steep stairs in an unfamiliar house in the middle of the night, especially for an older person! Thankfully though, the sofas are both comfortable to sleep on. Valerie was so kind and communicated very quickly. She set up an air mattress for us in the basement and we were all comfortable. Thank you Valerie!

Wonderful house near Bar Harbor and convenient to Mt. Desert Island and Acadia National Park. 3 double or queen beds, full kitchen, laundry available, above-ground pool (not used, we were there for Acadia) and a fire pit. No air conditioning but even in July, we didn't need it. Quiet, would be a great place to relax, except too much to see and do in the area. My only regret? We didn't stay longer!

The home was in a nice quiet neighborhood located minutes from Lamoine beach and 20-30 min from bar harbor and Acadia National Park. So much to do in the area! No problem with communicating with the owners. They were great! Pool was an added bonus just not a lot of time to use it because there were so many other things to do! Valerie offered to leave an air mattress for us too, just for a little extra room with our 5 kids, which was nice of her to do! Thank you again! We loved Maine!

We had a great time at this property. As soon as we got there our kids jumped in the private pool. Communication with the owner via the app was easy and quick. Valerie left a comprehensive list of tips for the house and for things to do in the area. The drive to Acadia and Bar Harbor was easy and it was nice to be on the outskirts of the hustle and bustle. Shopping centers are within a close drive. The house had everything we needed and we even extended our stay by a day without issue. Thank you Valerie!

We stayed here for four nights while we did the sights in the area; Bar Harbor, Acadia, whale watching, etc. it was a very pleasant experience. The house had everything we needed and plenty of opportunities for our dog to run and burn off some steam. The owners were very helpful and accessible.

Worth every penny. We loved how comfortable is was to just relax when we weren't doing sight seeing. I would stay again next year for sure!
