The hotel was good but I did not stay long enough to be able to provide an in-depth review. Diego, the person at the front desk during check in, was extremely friendly and helpful. He left a great impression. In contrast, the person at the front desk the morning that I was checking out was unfriendly and rude. When I told him that the shower did not have hot water, he suggested I was lying. The facilities are great but the lack of hot water in a winter morning was disappointing.

Staff is very helpful at check-in, passionate about helping with local attractions, directions, making reservations to the shows that we liked. Checkout process,arranging Transportation to the airport at the end of our stay is commendable. We are extremely happy with convenience of the location, walk-ability, and close to the park makes this a convenient and economical location. Room is clean and comfortable. watch-out for the HIGH wall of the bathtub when getting out of the shower !

Hotel is in prime location. Service is good. Bed was terrible- sinking at the middle, it was hard to sleep. All towels are so old and in bad condition from over use. Breakfast was great.

The staff were very helpful. My initial room was not what I expected - it was an internal room with a window into a dark lightwell. The hotel staff found me the sort of room I was expecting, and remembered I had the room upgrade as part of Expedia. Without complaining, they got me the room I expected with little fuss.

The location of the Howard Johnson's on Florida Street is fantastic. It was an easy walk to many bars, restaurants, and tourist sites like the Obelisk. The staff was very nice snd attentive. They were very happy to help with anything we needed, including money exchange. Their rate was almost as good as the dollar blue rate and we felt much safer than exchanging on Florida Street. The staff recommended Tango Portena as the best Tango show and we LOVED the show. The hotel got us a much better rate than we could get anywhere else, including hotel pick up. We had phenomenal seats and the food was great. Breakfast was included everyday and was fairly good. We ate one dinner at the hotel and we enjoyed it. The hotel is fairly small and a little dated, but the location, staff, and cleanliness more than make up for that. We enjoyed the smaller, more intimate feel. If we had one complaint, it would be that the bed was not very comfortable.

We were booked for 2 nights due to a late flight departure. Our flight times changed and we did not need the second night wecontacted the front desk to check out 1 day early they said contact hotels.com and they waived any penalties said it was upto the property. When we checked out 1 day early the property still charged us for 2 nights. Sad you have to rob your customers to make money we have 1 more pre reserved night at this property but after our booking are done we will never be back there

I wasn't aware that the hotel entrance is not accessible to taxis and other vehicles! I had to walk 500 yards into a pedestrian to get someone from the hotel to help with the luggage. There ia another hotel called Howard Johnson Plaza Buenos Aires on LIMA street. The taxi driver took me from the airport to the WRONG FACILITY due to the similar names. I had to take another taxi to the right hotel!

Grand hotel showing its age a bit, but very roomy and nice. Comfortable beds. Excellent breakfast. The reception was super helpful and accommodating. You do need to walk 1/3 of a block to enter, so no curbside access. They can exchange currency at close to blue dollar rate which is very helpful.

Love smaller boutique hotels. Although on a pedestrian street, able to be dropped off close by. Staff was great, especially the owner/manager. Also thumbs up to Diego, helped us with dinner RSVP's and cabs.

I really enjoyed the convenience of being so close to the subway, shopping areas and also breakfast was very nice. I wasn’t happy at all with the wifi signal. But in general we really enjoyed staying at this accommodation.
