Liked the hotel very much, and would stay again. We loved having the tea and coffee bar available. Didn't feel as though the windows kept the noise out well, but hey it's New York. Great location. Even though we had a "do not disturb" sign out, a cleaning person entered our room. I had one concern where a door man seemed to be riding a cleaning gentleman. I could be wrong, but he seemed to be bullying the man cleaning the floors and tables. It made me very uncomfortable. The man was speaking in another language, so I'm hoping that I misread the vibe.

Fabulous hotel in a superb location. The staff are all very friendly, polite and helpful and the facilities are wonderful. Rooms are spotless and very comfortable, and breakfast in the lobby is so comfortable and relaxing. We plan to be back!

From check-in to check-out, we were greeted with genuine smiles from the doormen and front desk agents. Though it is a boutique hotel without a gym, gift shop, or pool, we appreciated the views of Park Avenue from our Juliette balcony in our suite, the beautiful rooftop, and the complimentary continental breakfast offerings in the lobby. The midtown location was also ideal. We loved being within walking distance to the Union Square Greenmarket and many local dining, entertainment, and shopping options. We’ve stayed at other NYC properties in the past, and this was our favorite. Can’t wait to return!

I just love my stay at this hotel. It’s not over-the-top glitzy, but very, very comfortable, quiet, with an incredibly nice staff. Everything was ideal for me.

This is my fourth stay at The Giraffe. The bed (firmness, linens, pillows) is probably the most comfortable I've ever slept in while away from home. For the price, would like them to update their lighting and bathrooms. I usually get upgraded to a larger room and/or balcony, but no dice this time -- still, one of the largest rooms you'll find in NYC and in a great neighborhood.

Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Continental breakfast was substantial. Coffee bar was available 24 hours in the lobby and generally there was fruit and some pastries available all day. Room was spacious and although the bathroom was small, it worked. There was a small step out balcony that allowed some fresh air (and NYC ambiance). The area is walkable and Madison Square Park nearby.

It was my first stay at Hotel Giraffe and I will certainly be back. My room was clean, attractive, a good size, and had a balcony. The service was terrific and the free snacks and continental breakfast, with healthy options, was very much appreciated. The NoMad/Flatiron area is my favorite place to stay in the city because it has some great restaurants and is walkable (for more serious walkers) to more. The hotel is a very short walk to subway and bus connections. Highly recommend.

Breakfast buffet was small but great. We came in contact with multiple staff who were all very friendly and helpful. Got an upgraded room which was a plus. The area around had great breakfast options and food and was very close to the subway stop. There were some people begging near the subway stop but overall the area was great and the hotel was beautiful.

This is a lovely boutique hotel on the east side. One block from a subway station. The hotel room was spacious and very comfortable. I received a call in advance of my arrival, asking if there were any special requests. I asked for no down pillows, and on arrival, all pillow were memory foam or non-down alternative. They also put a memory foam mattress topper instead of the usual feather bed. Service was therefore excellent. The continental breakfast in the lobby in the mornings was very nice, with a wide variety of foods, including bagels, pastries, croissants, hard boiled eggs, cereals, yogurt and fruit. Throughout the day, one could stop by and get some fruit or snack bars. I highly recommend Hotel Giraffe and will certainly stay there again!

It was clean but needs serious updating on furniture. The furniture was clearly older but little dirty as well. However the bed and pillows are comfy and clean!! Hidden gem I would say it’s in a great location and the views from balcony were beautiful. Staff was very friendly and welcoming!!
