Nice hotel but old

Very friendly front desk attendant

Out of orange juice and apple juice again

At check in, front desk attendant was so interested in what she was watching on her phone that I had to address her four times before she acknowledged me. The next morning at checkout, the same attendant was there and it took me three times addressing her to wake her up from a sound sleep to get my deposit refund. I think Microtel would do well to have surprise visits to see just how poorly their hotels are being managed.

Front desk clerk queen latifa wanna—be was an absolute joke at check in trying to say they were 85% full and didn’t have any rooms left after I had booked the room 3 days prior. She had a terrible attitude. Then at check out another front desk clerk was asleep when we went for coffee at 8:00am. They told us at check in there would be doughnuts. That was not true. No doughnuts.

What i didn't like was that the person that us supposed to be at the desk was rarely there. Also there is a lot of cannabis smoked on the main floor.

I really liked the quietness. Woman at front desk was very nice, and it was faster than other hotels to get the key. The room was very comfortable and everything worked!

There was so many problems with this hotel. First, I was heading to the front door when I was asked by a drunk man if I wanted to go to his room. I immediately informed the front desk. The young girl behind the front desk informed me that this man was given a prior warning as he had approached another woman entering the hotel. My best guess is that this hotel is being used as a homeless shelter which is just appalling to me. While I am not against the homeless, they should not be given rooms in a hotel that advertises itself on Expedia and for which I am paying money to stay in. Lots of very unsavory "guests". Second, the room needs an insect exterminator. When I reached for the phone to call downstairs, two ants were crawling on the handset. Third, the small refrigerator freezes your food and drink. Fourth, the pillows on the bed are 16" square. They are NOT standard sized bed pillows. And you only get 3. Fifth and very important to me and I would imagine to anyone who stays at this hotel, there is no working internet. On my first night, I notified the front desk woman who said "It works". She lied. So for 6 nights, I had to drive down the street to McDonalds to use their internet. This morning when I checked out, another front desk clerk, who was honest, quickly informed me it has been out for a while, management knows it has been out and has failed to get it repaired. This hotel is unsafe, unhealthy and not what is advertised. I expect a full refund!

Nice

Dated, but very clean room. The hotel smelled like food; but once in my room, i didn't smell any of it. 97% rating. Very efficient check-in; great staff. I travelled alone while a loved one was in a nearby hospital- never felt unsafe. Comfortable mattress.

It was very dirty. Overall the hotel was run down and grungy. There were bodily fluid stains on the wall of the room. The bed sagged and was uncomfortable. The tv did not work. There were no outlets near the beds. We asked to be partially refunded because of the non-working tv. They refused, and instead moved us to a suite. It was trashed, had been occupied and not cleaned with literal trash everywhere and the AC unit ripped out of the wall and in the middle of the room. Were moved to a different suite and that was ok - still grungy like the rest of the hotel and the bathroom door wouldn’t shut. The breakfast was extremely limited, with no protein options. I’ll never stay here or book a microtel again.

This was our first stay there and we would not hesitate to book again. The housekeeping staff did an excellent job of cleaning the room and that was so important to us. Keep up the good work!!! Thanks also for providing so many choices for breakfast food. That sure was a plus.

Just so run down and filthy I thought I would catch something

The American flag is tattered and needs to be replaced on the flagpole. Another guest pointed this out to us. The shower curtain is a bit tattered also. The beds and linens were comfortable and the rooms were quiet. Mud was tracked in at the coffee/breakfast area. I mentioned there were cakes of mud there, but the front desk guy never got a broom and guests continued to walk through the mud...

The property"s public areas werenot thoroughly clean, like inside the elevator and in the foyer. Also there were wear marks on the carpeting. The wifi and the TV service were very good.

Room was not ready at 6:pm and the ice machine was not operational.

I thought that the hotel was nice. My mom got a good night sleep and really enjoyed your bathtub. It was a little noisy, but I think that was related to the construction going on. You need to restock your vending machines because they had no drinks available.

Stayed at this property a couple years ago. It’s gone downhill. Very dirty, carpets are a mess.

Room small like a dorm room

When I walked into the place it had a dirty smell. The rooms smelled like they had been smoked in before. When I got up the next morning there were two COCKROACHES in my room. This was not a $175 a night room. I WILL NEVER stay at a Microtel again. I also didn't like mirrors on the wall behind the bed. Gave me a feeling of being watched.

We did not stay at this hotel!!! We checked in, went to our room and the key did not work. The employee began to change our room number because the initial room had a faulty key reader. Why would she assign a room knowing there is a faulty reader? That’s unsafe. Upon entering the second assigned room, we were disgusted with the room condition! Immediately we saw two bugs. The walls and window seal was dirty. The room had a smell of lingering musty smoke despite signage stating smoking was not allowed. We gathered up our things and left as we felt the hotel was unsafe and unsanitary. We had to proceed to book another hotel with very short notice and pay a premium price. I have never seen a Wyndham hotel in such poor condition. The advertisement of this hotel on hotels.com is misleading based on actual condition.

Great quite place

Got to the room late. Went for ice from a first floor room. No ice. ALL signs say ice on first and second floors. Went to second floor like signs says. No ice maker at all. Asked front desk. Ice on third floor. Could have told me on checkout. Story goes on, remote didn’t work. Open sockets with no cover plates - FIRE SOURCE! You should know better. Hotel sucks with all of the smokers right out front. Bad management. Hotels.com should be ashamed. I’m back to Marriott.

Great hostess and nice breakfast choices

Staff was friendly. Facility was old and tired and worn.

Not having a microwave or refrigerator and they hallway was dirty the trash around the facility needed to be dumped.
