Reception staff were very friendly and helpful, breakfast was very good value. Station is across the road and the harbour just behind that,so ideal for exploring the lake and trips further afield.

Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Our room was fairly comfortable and clean however, there was a bad smell coming out of the shower. It was manageable by keeping the bathroom door closed. Being across from the train station was very convenient.

The room was ok but the bed was not comfortable. There was a mix up with our room because I had done two separate bookings and they had put us in the wrong room. We didn’t want to change half way the so just put up with it. They give you a welcome drink but you only have a choice of Prosecco or water. The location is great.

Hotel Halm is a lovely place to stay in central Konstanz. The WiFi in our room was a bit unstable. Everything else was close to perfection during my stay.

Lovely hotel. Reception staff. Courteous and efficient. Room great. Air conditioning was a relief due to high summer temps. Comfortable bed. Nice bathroom and shower. Well worth the money. Hotel exceptionally clean. Downside.... bar service poor, slow, did not give a receipt at end of evening despite asking for one. Resorted to demanding receipt. This was disappointing as it is a Lovely hotel.

The hotel is absolutely beautiful! The check-in staff was outstanding! They went out of their way to welcome us and make our check-in easy! The room was clean, comfortable, quiet and plenty of pillows. Any time we had a request for ice or any other item needed for us in our room, they were at our door within 5 minutes. The best thing is the hotel is located around 75 feet in front of the train station.

The hotel is very well located, there are many shops and restaurants around it. There’s no garage in the hotel but we found a parking close by. Our room was quiet but very simple. To shower it was a challenge because the drain was clogged and the bathtub was full very quickly! The shower head fell off when my husband was taking his shower, not very pleasant…

It was centrally located next to the train station. However, with a street facing room you do get a lot of street noise when the windows are open. The hotel seems to be gradually updated. I had one of the older rooms facing the street. On a Saturday evening it was difficult to sleep, even with the windows closed!

Stayed at this hotel early Feb 2020, for 120 euro. We drove in and found parking around the corner for 20 euro for 24 hrs. The hotel was beautiful, excellent location if you take the train, and comfortable clean room. One issue was the glasses for water were not totally clean. The restaurant looked amazing but we did not plan ahead and were unable to get reservations

The location was very good, close to the places we wanted yo go. Staff was friendly, bed very comfortable, soft and crisp and the Moroccan restaurant was very good.

The location is FANTASTIC!! It's directly across from the train station and the bus station. Our room faced the stations and when our windows were closed it was pretty quiet. If you leave your windows open (like we do) there is lots of talking going at the bus station at all hours of the night (college students going back to campus) but it didn't really bother us much. the hotel itself is very nice. The rooms are large and the beds are very comfortable. The staff is quite friendly and very helpful. Everything is within walking distance. Tons of cafe's, lots and lots of ice cream shops. The water front is across the street but it is a few minute walk because you have to go around the train station. We didn't get the breakfast at the hotel, we went across the street to the bread shop. They have all the coffees, breads, pastries and sandwiches. We will definitely stay here next time we come to Konstanz.

The staff that we exchanged communication was excellent. Mr. Jarek Spychala was very kind in making sure we get checked. Breakfast was lovely - great atmosphere and staff very warm and friendly. We also had a glitch with our reservation, but Mr.Christian Trabitz managed to handle the situation very professionally and fair. So, we are definitely going back. We loved the entrance atmosphere, lovely remodeled, great taste of decoration. The hotel is very old, and most of the floors are being remodeled. The location excellent for everything you need to do for shopping, eating, etc. We will definitely return...until next time. Thank you for making our visit pleasant.

We spent 24 hours here on our way to Fussen. The room was spacious with a separate sitting area and the view of the lake was marvelous. Staff at this hotel are helpful and very friendly. The location was perfect for walking to the lake, cafes, shopping - right in the heart of the Konstanz. Parking was a short distance from the hotel and easy to locate. If you are coming by train the station is literally across the street from the hotel. Ask for a water view on a higher floor.

Great location, great place. We enjoyed our stay in Konstanz. It’s a great hotel with clean and fairy large rooms. They had a fan in the room which was so nice to have.
