The hotel is well located. The bed was comfortable and the room had all the necessities for a solo traveler. The room was clean thou the bed is a bit too long and to get to the other side of the bed its a little bit tricky. But its a good propery

I wouldn’t stay again. I like booking hotel rooms that offer complementary breakfast. This is the worst complimentary breakfast I ever have seen. You basically stand outside in a line and the breakfast is in a little closet that only 3 people can fit in and they don’t offer much. Don’t book this place for the breakfast. I drove in from out of state and have an SUV. The parking structure is tight and they charge you to park. The room was fine just when the next door people let the doors slam shut it is very loud. It’s an ok place but again. The breakfast is not a good incentive to book there. We ended going out for breakfast

My stay was terrible, the bathtub faucet was broken and when i told the front disk about they refused to change my room then few hours later maintenance came and fixed it, from going in and out the bathroom and shower they made a mess on all the room floor. No one came to clean the room after. I had to clean it myself.

Its walking distance from Old Town SD.
The staff could be a little more friendly.
Room was clean.

When we checked in, our room had a very strong smell - like really strong cleaner. Which was weird, because the room did not feel clean. We had a two queen room. My husband and I shared one of the queen beds. The mattress was more like a taco and we spent an uncomfortable night rolling into each other. The best thing that happened was the locking mechanism broke in our original room, so they had to move us to a new room, which had slightly better mattresses. The free breakfast was very limited and the parking felt unsafe. In fact, you couldn't pull out of their parking garage without scarping the bottom of the car. The staff attempted to be helpful with the room, but not by much. We won't stay here again when visiting our family in town.

Floors were dirty.
Parking is a little tight for suv

I have never stayed at this hotel although I have stayed at multiple hotels in San Diego. This hotel was available last minute for an excellent price. I will be staying there for now on due to the convenience for my job, the price, and the accommodations.
3.4
Perfect for solo overnight trip. Spacious room and bathroom. Only downside was the tv wasn't working or the hairdryer. 5 minute walk from Old Town and station. Good value.
3.4
Pretty bare bones hotel. Key cards/doors were touchy and didn't consistently work.

They are finally updating the look. New flooring and batbroom and beds, definitely better then before. Now they need to work on the garage parking. I swear every timw I exit the garage, all u derneath my car gets scraped and Im sk afraid my muffler will fall off and my car is a normal chevy cruze, its not a cusomized car where ita lowered or anything, and no we aren't overweight. Its just too steep when your exiting. They need to do something to fix this plz.

Great location

Rooms are basic (minimal furnishing in the room). For budget conscious travelers who just need a place to lay their head for the night, it meets this criteria.
Pluses: Price is reasonable. A few walkable blocks from Old Town San Diego, some
discounts given to local restaurants, also a short ride to the airport.
Minuses: Small lobby that can feel a bit sketchy, thin walls that you can hear other guests as they walk by your room, access to elevator and stairs adjacent to and outside of the small lobby area makes this property accessible to anyone walking by on the street.

Three towels in the room and stingy with the breakfast waffles. The place was clean but old and expensive.
3.4
Headboard had a big stain and was not previously cleaned. Killed 3 large spiders, i in the bathrooms and one next to the couch. Infored front desk and he said "it must be the summer"

Our room needs to have a fire rated door installed. Existing door lacked sealing the entire door. Day and night light could be seen around all edges. Bathroom door also needs to be replaced. Previously broken and patched three times on one side and once on the inside. Visible crack near door knob.

It was a good value. We went during comicon, when every place’s prices were high. This place was reasonably priced, and the location was good. Easy access to old town and the metro. Room was a little spartan, no Kleenex, no bath mats, and the free breakfast was very limited. But no major complaints
3.4
Good location to Old Town and freeways but would of liked a place to eat there for lunch and or dinner.
3.4
Wall had something smeared on it. Other than that, it was ok.
3.4
The saga was disgusting. It was torn and had what appeared to be food stain.
3.4
Very nice staff. Room and property was clean. The room was big as well.

This is an older hotel. Very very clean and comfortable. 2 short blocks to historic old town. This would be my choice hotel if ever in this area again

clean but no carpet in the rooms

Check in employee lady was nice and accommodating. When checking out the gentlemen was rude and when asked about the breakfast and he said no the guy called out.

Only complaint I had was having to pay to park
3.4
They’re in a great location walking distance to old town San Diego. I would definitely stay there again.

I didn't like the run around we got about early check in. First they tell me there may be a charge for early check in. Then we show up about 10am and they say we can check in by 12pm and no charge. Then we show up at 12pm and they say by 2pm, then at 2pm we checked in early and they said no charge. Now, I'm getting emails claiming if we check out late there's a late fee charge, but we checked out at 4am this morning. Also, the sheets on the bed had black and red ink marks that didn't wash off and they still put them on the bed!
3.4
My stay was fine
3.4
It's a very basic room. Similar to a Motel 6. I needed a nice bed to stay while waiting for my flight. There was no bugs. It was clean. No amenities. Just basic.
3.4
Very convenient to and from airport, minutes walk to old town shops and Whaley museum. Comfy bed and pleasant staff. Definitely stay here!
