Decent rooms with easy acces to the banhof and city transit. The area by the station is rather dirty, but if you are looking for reasonable rooms with walking distance from the main station, thats what the neighbourhood is but the hotel itself and the rooms were very good and comfortable with great breakfast to start our days off

Restaurant in front the hotel stays open until 4am. You can hear Guys speaks loadly even with windows closed and AC is on. Lets not foget the constant plice siren overnight back and forth as its a major street.

Room was smelling terrible, especially the bathroom. Hair in the beds. Close to central station but in a bad neighbourhood. Since it was high price we couldn't imagine it would be this bad.

Old, scruffy, dirty. No cleaning in the rooms. Much to expensive and located in not nice surroundings behind the main station. Very nice people in reception!

The hotel was well located with the walking distance to main attractions in the center. Our room was AC which was really good on the +30 degree weather. Beds were quite ok. Only bad side was that the curtains allowed too much light to pass through from outside. The staff was really nice and helpful.

The property is in a convenient location close to the centre and the train station. The staff is friendly and helpful. On the other hand facilities of the hotel needs an upgrade. The aircon in our room barely worked. It kept turning off on its own and we couldn’t adjust its level. The room has no central lamp so you rely on bedside lamps. The TV is very old so don’t expect to watch a movie or a match. The bathroom is clean but it would have been better if it had ventilation. The key they give you is bulky so you need to return it to the reception every time you leave the hotel and pick it up when you return.

Unfortunately we didn't realize this property had no air conditioning and it was a heat wave during our first 2 days. Did not feel safe leaving the window open since the fire escape was right outside. Also could see directly into other people's rooms. Location was convenient to main train HBF which was helpful unfortunately alot of construction going on. I don't think this property is for children as the red light district is just around the corner. However, there was coffee shop directly across the street and convenient store next door. I would not stay here again.

It’s a decent hotel in a less desirable neighbourhood…. I liked it being close to the main train station. The plentiful food options around the hotel were not great quality, but not awful. Bed was ok… weird BIG square pillows, but ok. Good Shower ! I wish the broom had a personal safe. I WOULD definitely stay here again though.

Old building but clean renovated rooms. Location is OK, only issue was loud noise from business across street until 2am. If you mostly just need a place to sleep then good value.

We stayed 1 night here, the AC is broken. They let the window open. It would be nice if they offer to move other room instead. It was hardly for us to sleep well because some people in the street were very loud and drinking at deep night.

This is an older property, the lift will take 3 people only. We had a triple room, very small very hot even with heating turned off, there was a fan in the room I guess for that reason, no tea making facilities but you can ask for a kettle, no cups either so had to buy one. Hotel is central and great for markets etc. our room had a shower door that was broken, and when you shower the water comes up the drain in the floor of the bathroom, having said that I couldn’t fault the staff, very friendly and helpful, but please find another system with the door keys !!! Having to hand them In every time you go out is such a pain.

Nice staff and hotel. The bed was comfortable, although the floor needed vacuuming. The location was good to go to Oktoberfest and other tourist sites, although there are a number of homeless people in the area.

20 minutes walk from the center and old town. Excellent breakfast, not included but at a very reasonable price. Was little noisy at night, noise came from the street.

It was walking distance from the central train station and to the places of interest around Marienplatz. There was a convenience store next door and several cafes/ small restaurants around. The room we had was quiet although it got too warm at night. There was fan made available though and the window can be opened. The hotel is old but we felt safe and comfortable there. Will recommend.

The hotel is located very conveniently within walking distance to the train station. It is also easy to walk into the old part of town from there. The staff is super nice and helpful. Rooms are clean, the breakfast buffet is excellent. Note that it is not in the old part of town, there is traffic in the streets outside, but our room was very quiet. Very good value for money.

First, there are a couple discrepancies in the description. There is a 12 Euro daily fee for parking. The garage is actually a block and a half away and is called HBF Sud. You get a ticket, park, and then the hotel checks it to get that daily fee. 2nd - there is not a free breakfast. That costs 9 euro. Other than that, the hotel is excellent for the location. Without a car, it is more ideal.

A beautiful hotel with attentive, friendly staff. The hotel is very old and charming. Every room appears to have been decorated recently and each has their own unique style. Also, it doesn't appear to have any deferred maintenance. The hotel is completely non-smoking (thank God!) except for a small enclosed, garden-patio in the center of the hotel. There is a smart tablet (like an Ipad) in every room, to make your stay user-friendly and fun. Public transportation is literally right outside the front door. It is impeccably clean down to every detail and the little perks, like free, cold, soft drinks, free wifi, and underground parking across the street (€50/day), made us feel like welcomed, valued customers. All the staff were so friendly and kind, I only want to stay here for future visits to Munich. I just wish parking wasn't so expensive, but I guess that's what parking is like throughout Munich.

Our experience of this place is wonderful. People at the desk were highly professional and cordial. However we did not stay at Hotel President but were transferred to Hotel Wallis due to low number of occupancy. So my reviews are of Hotel Wallis and not of Hotel President.

El hotel tiene una gran localización cerca del la estación central de tren. Es un poco antiguo, pero en perfectas condiciones. Habitación cómoda y lo que más disfruto de este hotel es el desayuno. Es la Segunda vez que fui. Estuve un par de días enfermo y me ayudaron mucho trayéndome lo necesario a la habitación. Volvería sin pensarlo.

Very small and compact hotel- not very modern, but well kept. There is one small lift, more for lugage than anything, which i did not mind since i do like to take the stairs. Very courteous and professional staff. Room was very clean and bigger than I expected. There's a full buffet breakfast every morning with anything you can think of. As far for location, its one block away from the central station and there's several places to eat in the same street.
