Stopped in late night 1am on way back to NJ. Bright parking lot and near a Burger King & chick-fil-a. Not a hotel type as doors are exterior entry. I would enjoy not all the same type of pillows, bigger towels and heat/air you can control better. I was not able to turn it off as there was no off button. Room is set up well, has a tv guide and sink outside the bathroom, which I really prefer. Didn’t have breakfast as I got up too late. Decent stay.

Coming off I-95 the property is on the left with a narrow entrance sandwiched between a Hampton Inn and a Wendy’s exit. I missed it the first time. I’m not sure whether this is a new property or an old motel that was renovated and rebranded as a Best Western hotel. In any case it is well maintained and attractive. It’s a couple of miles from downtown Manning so eating options are basically fast food. Breakfast buffet was OK. Good value.

Very clean, safe for a last minute check in. Spotless floors, bathroom & shower area. Very pleasant late night staff, excellent quick breakfast for the road. Only spent a few hours but would stay again!

Property was clean, but the smell of air fresheners or cleaners was so heavy it burned my eyes and throat. The bed and pillows were very hard, almost like sleeping on granite slabs. The bed sheet was on inside-out, and the bed had no comforter to keep warm. USB charging plugs were all broken at the bed. The door was sagging on the hinges, and it took almost all I had to lift up on the door so it I could lock and unlock it. The 110V outlets at the bed were so worn, a USB charger just falls out of the plug, and wouldn't stay plugged in.

Stopped on our way home to FL from VA. We arrived really early and the young lady at the reception desk was very nice, friendly and welcoming. We arrived really early and she had to call another co-worker for assistance since she was new but she was very sweet about it. However, we did not appreciate that her boss was reprimanding her in front of guests for allowing early check in even though they have the option to pay for early check in. The room was dated but nice except for the door not latching properly since it looked like a reused door from somewhere else and not properly aligned. It was clean except for the shower. Overall, we would stay here again if we are in the area.

The hotel is being renovated. That fact was not on the website or I would not have made the reservation. The shower door needs to be adjusted to stay closed. The desk clerk needs more training. She would not speak up or make eye contact. Breakfast was disappointing. The new parts of the hotel are mostly nice.

I want to say this stay was GREAT! Very friendly, accommodating & most of all CLEAN. The staff was very polite & helpful, one staff member ( front desk) Talasia, is a very nice young lady and went above to make sure my stay went well and to help me out with a double booking. Thank you such GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE, a d a pleasant smile esch time i walked through.

Room was very clean. Hotel is being renovated and we were the first to stay in the room after renovations. Definitely recommend. The staff is great and there is a “Cook Out” Restaurant extremely close. Easy on/off Rte 95 too.

Great safe, convenient, clean and updated stop with a dog. Plenty of places to walk the dog and a good breakfast too. Quiet, ample parking including for larger vehicles, well lit, and cameras everywhere. Highly recommend.

The room itself was fine. The service from the people running however are not on top of their service. They did not tell us what reservation that we booked was confused and we were not told which room we were supposed stay in. Then proceeded to try and charge us a another night for one of the rooms because they did not tell us which reservation was which so that we could go to the right room.

Construction debris and dust everywhere. Lenins on one of the beds were not changed. Room was so infested with fruit flies/gnats, that i couldn’t stay and left during the night.

They are updating this property. And the renovations are nice. But they had carpet in the room. With all of the issues since covid, we prefer hard surfaces which can be cleaned after each use. The entrance is difficult to find. There is a fence between the long driveway and the next property. Better signing would help that a lot.

If I had known how poorly this place was I never would have made a reservation. Metal bed frame up 8-12" with a topper and every time you got in or out it made noise. 2.5 x 2.5' vanity. no place even for your tooth brushes. ugly shower and for some reason they put us in a handicapped room with walk-in shower---shower curtain was approx. 4" from base. When you first walked in the room you will notice on the bath wall was an Iron board and iron.,,, ugly. when walking through the exterior hallway between the building ....that is where they had the washer/ dryer. Best Western should be ASHAMED to put their name/ on this place.The girl at the front was nice and the tangerine was good. Run. I would not even give it a 2....

Pro Breakfast was fine. Thx for yogurt, eggs, sausage, a bit of fruit, two juices. The waffle maker was an experience to watch. A bit of oatmeal, water, juice glass would have been an improvement. Free wifi was great. Not even a password was required. thx. There is an ice machine even if no ice bucket. Con The advert mentioned "frig" but when we arrived the signs out front said "micro frig". The frig was indeed a bit smaller than we expected and definitely smaller than we wanted. something was odd with the HVAC. It was instantly frigid+windy on the bed when on and instantly hot when it shut off. The walls were a bit thin. I could hear nearby snoring, a nearby woman being pleased by the attention of a man, a TV that remained on until 7am. I see this is listed as a hotel, but it's really a motel. The room had no bottled water and local water seems pretty heavily chlorinated. the gloss surface of the bathtub/shower button had rubbed away. it was due to be replaced. I discovered all this only after arriving. It was not apparent from the hotels.com listing. But at that point I already had a non-refundable reservation. If I had known all this I would have selected some of the more familiar-named nearby hotels that were listed for a lower price.

Hard to believe this was a Best Western. We walked into an argument between management and another party. They were so loud I could not hear the person checking us in. Once the other party left, management kept loudly arguing amongest themselves. The bed smelled like old gym socks, towels were thread bare, and the breakfast had watery powdered eggs. I canceled the reservation I had made for my return trip. Buyer beware.
