The hotel is very comfortable and cute. Excellent location. Amazing tiki bar and environment. Even though they are still struggling with effects of the last hurricane. It was comfortable and you wouldn’t notice. The rooms after spacious with a small kitchenette. Overall enjoyed our stay.

Our suite was spotless when we entered. We were so happy. We actually met the person who cleaned it. Her name was Karen and she was wonderful. She did a great job and she was so friendly.

The hotel is ok but the loud music and noise from the bar kept our family up until past midnight. Not what we expected.

Needs better water pressure for showers….Tiki bar was so much fun….overall we had a good time….would stay there again

We enjoyed our stay at the Light House. It is a bit run down but with what that area has been through recently theyve done an excellent job of getting reopened and things up and running. I would not reccommend this hotel to families as it has the only bar that stays open until 2 AM so is very busy and loud. The staff is excellent and so nice. We didnt spend time at the pool but it looked very nice and clean. It was in a great location to walk to the beach and the Times Square area. We would stay there again.

We had a separate cottage that was wonderful.

Had a fun time at this resort. Over half the resort was wiped out by Ian in 2022, so there is a lot of rebuilding going on, adjacent to where you stay. The elevators don't work, but its only got 4 floors, so no big deal. The pool and fabulous Tiki Bar was open, and its convenient to the beach, shops and restaurants.

We traveled with an infant and were given a room next to the bar. The mattresses are impossible to sleep in and the front desk lady was anything but courteous and helpful.

Enjoyed our stay!

It was a good stay. A lot of construction noise during the day which was necessary because of the hurricane damage. No working elevators but we knew that in advance. A fan rattled in the bedroom causing some annoyance. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location of the Lighthouse is ideal for access to the island and the beach.

Location was great. However, the sink was clogged, music playing late into the evening, shower was lukewarm, one of the bartenders was very unfriendly, the from desk person greeting did not make us feel very welcome and need better signage to the office,

When we booked we thought we were booking a hotel room. What a pleasant surprise to get our own little cottage with a huge deck, right on a canal. FMB never disappoints! Thanks Lighthouse! Can’t wait to come back.

Our room seemed to be updated However day one we found a roach in our kitchen sink. Quiet unsettling. Our room/balcony faced the construction zone on property so we heard hammering for 10 straight hours daily. My biggest concern was the elevators that were under construction. How can this property allow this elevator company Clark Elevators to leave the elevators that are under construction and UNATTENDED, doors wide open, on the ground floor AS WELL AS the 2nd Floor doors wide open on 2nd fl, and the car was not stopped at the 2nd floor. Any young curious kid wouldnt be stopped by construction tape/gates or cones, NOTHING was protecting the patrons/guests from danger...any yound child would have the ability to run right into that UNATTENDED elevator and fall to the ground!!! Lighthouse should be fined or this company should be fined $$$$$ to leave such a dangerous job site that is under construction UNSECURED! We witnessed this multiple times during the day and throughout the week! VERY DISTURBING..

Amazing start to finish

Excellent area to stay, very close to beach and many dining options. Room was dated and definitely needs an update. I do understand that they are still in the process of rebuilding after the hurricane. I do not recommend this hotel for someone with young kids or people who go to sleep early. The restaurant/bar in the middle of the property was extremely loud and had music playing until 10pm/11pm. This did not bother my wife and I, however if you have younger kids that go to bed early it could be problematic. We did not have any issues parking our car at the resort but I could see it being an issue during peak season getting a parking spot while you are staying there.

The location is perfect!

I have never been to a worse place. The rooms smelt musty the moment we walked in. I was aware there had been a hurricane in 2021 but this place should not be allowed to rent rooms out until some serious issues are dealt with. We rented a two-bed suite, one of the beds when folded down had hair strewn throughout it. There were blood spots on the walls, floor, and ceiling. There was black mold on door frames, in the closet, and on the kitchen counter walls. The shower handle was broken, water barely trickled out of the bathroom sink, the microwave was filthy. After arriving we found out that the elevators were not working and we were booked on the 3rd floor, not very comfy walking up and down the stairs with a bad knee. Because they have no one at the front desk after 8pm we had to stay the first night of the 4 nights we pre booked and paid for. First thing in the morning when someone was in the office, we went down to cancel our remaining nights and see about a refund. The lady was not very helpful, and denied most of our claims even after we showed her the pictures we had taken. She said we would have to contact Expedia to see about canceling our stay. I can say that Expedia was VERY understanding and helpful. Not only did they refund our next 3 nights, they refunded the 1 night we had to stay there and also gave me a $100 voucher for future use. My only advice for anyone thinking of staying at this place is RUN, RUN, RUN far far away from here!! I

Extremely poor condition. Needs renovation. Very loud, tiki bar was loud till 2. Floors were broken, shower barely worked. Probably the worst conditions we have ever stayed in. Pictures online are very deceiving! We could see daylight out if both of the rusty doors to our room. Would not recommend or stay here again!

The property was very easy to walk to beach and the bar and pool were great assets also the food was great The gentlemen who checked us in could use some friendliness

Overall decent experience. Tiki bar and staff at the bar were great. One employee that works the office and parking lot must believe he works for the secret service with his bad attitude towards guests that need ask a question. Be prepared to hear the tiki bar band/music very late and dumpsters to be emptied around 5:30 am if you’re looking for a quiet stay.

The character of the property, location, good entertainment/music.

The room was nicely decorated overlooking the pool. It is across the street from new Margaritaville Hotel and unfortunately we heard valet too often. Also beer keg deliveries early in the morning. The Tiki hut (bar/restaurant) had music most of the day into the night around 11PM so if you are looking for quiet-not going to happen. Fort Myers Beach is still rebuilding so not much around. The beach is lovely but you need to bring your own beach chairs.

We only stayed for two nights, very lucky to get the booking. We love the vibe of staying in this lively and cannot praise the bar staff enough. Food was delish and entertainment ... Entertaining. Rooms pleasant enough, basic but clean and cute. Would definitely stay again.

Can be noisy in the evenings if you are located near the bar, but location is great, as is service.
