We stayed here for 5 nights in July for our birthdays. It was a beautiful resort newly refurbished and great restaurant, conveniently located for shops , bars and old town. The sixth and seventh star goes to Enrice the customer engagement manager . He was the most lovely , kind and professional person . He made sure our stay was perfect , nothing was too much trouble and he always had the biggest smile 😀 thank you enrique we will be back . Farzana and Caroline

Our stay at Don Marcos was great, lovely hotel and location with lots of pool areas to chose from. Room was a good size and very comfortable and generally very quiet. We did come back one day to find our hotel room door had been left wide open by the cleaners, which was a bit alarming! Room does not have any tea/coffee making facilities so take your own if you want this! I was surprised the hotel did not offer any beach facilities, would be great to extend their service at the beach which is directly opposite. I did contact the hotel before to advise them it was our anniversary but maybe they didn’t receive my message as nothing special organised. 🙁

Very nice modern room. Breakfast has great options and staff are lovely. The pools are in great locations around the hotel. Hotel is perfectly situated on the strip. Couldn’t fault it!

The location is brilliant if you are looking for a beach hotel. However, our check-in with parking took 1 hour since there was only one reception area for at least two hotels (the Sol hotels belong together) and the staff was completeley overwhelmed. The reception area was renovated but the rooms need work. When we entered the room, the AC smelled like a wet dog and there was hair all over the floor. Breakfast was fine and the hotel takes a lot of care in complying with safety regulations. For us, this was not a 4 star - experience and we won’t come back.

Huge resort - great for families. We were in what the front desk referred to as the “quiet” part of the resort - which we preferred, but it wasn’t advertised that way. The front desk said we had free minibar items with our room and gave us directions to our room. We got all the way up to the top floor and there was no 3705. Went back downstairs and she apologized but said you can only get there from the other set of elevators. This after a very long flight from the US. The free minibar items were two beers in the fridge. No other items even for purchase. When we asked for ice and coffee to go with the water kettle they said that’s only for tea and you have to ask for ice from the bar. And he looked at us like we were crazy. Not helpful to say the least. Bathrooms and bedroom was was mediocre and bed small but comfortable.

Location is right in front of the beach. The rooms are not to the 4 star level. Rooms are very basic and mattress are quite run down.

The hotel was amazing, so clean, all staff friendly, rooms cleaned to a hight standard, we really would not hesitate to come back to this hotel, in fact we are already looking to book to come back again in September, This is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in.

Loved the renovations to the hotel, this was our third year staying at Marco, and we love it. Loved the changes made to one of the pools too. Only thing I can fault is the WiFi, can never seem to connect to it properly. But otherwise, superb hotel. We will be back again next year!

The Don Marco has been refurbished many on the outside with the restaurant moved to the Don Pedro,I have to admit I liked the old postion but the new restaurant is very good. The avairy has been removed much the my partner Marias dismay. Some of the refurbishment is still on going.

We were very happy with this hotel and all the staff were friendly and helpful. Only negatives were mattress was very hard on the bed,we should have appreciated a kettle in the room,and found the breakfast coffee tasteless. That said everything else about our stay was wonderful and we should definitely recommend this hotel ,and would hope to return for future holidays.

First time at the sol don marco was not disappointed enjoyable stay. Staff helpful and friendly our room was cleaned daily and fresh towels replaced everyday. We liked the idea of enjoying using the facilitilies at the two sister hotels pedro and Pleblo. Would return as had an enjoyable stay.

The hotel is well placed near the front, and has excellent pools and plungers. Could have done with more information in the room about the hotel facilities and the surrounding area. It was o my on the last day that we found out about the lift to get up to the main town.

The hotel was OK, no 'wow' factor for a 4 star hotel, more of a 3 star. We went half board but only ate in the restaurant on 2 occasions as it was just not an enjoyable dining experience. The food was the same every single day. It is worth going for the room only option and eating out at the many varied and superb restaurants out and about. The reception bar at the hotel was open once in 5 days, finding staff was difficult, the hotel appeared to run on a very low number of staff. Many pools, 1 pool bar, no staff / waiters. Clean room and great area, probably much better hotels around for a similar price.

Location and ambiance are fantastic to set most anyone in a relaxed mood. Staff works extremely hard to satisfy all needs from check-in to dining to tours and room needs. We were there in Late April 2015 no crowds at either hotel or beach area. Buffet breakfast and dinner were great with amazing staff there. Will return again

We visited Torremolinos during the last week of November 2012. The hotel is centrally located across from the beach. It is part of three hotels that are together. The hotel was very clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. Although it did not matter to us as we were using the hotel as a base to tour Southern Spain, at this time of the year the beachfront in Torremolinos is very quiet and a number of restaurants do not open.

We have visited the hotels Marco and Pablo 3 times and enjoyed each holiday. Our group has age range from 7 to 80. Accommodation, pools, bars (have happy hours 5 to 6:30 then 7:30 to 8:30) and restaurants etc are vg. Food is lovely, it is all self service and choice is plenty. Lots of sun loungers and parasols to be had so no early breakfasts needed. Activities Team who run the kids' club and adults' activities are so friendly and care about you all having fun. Club times are 10:30 to 1pm and 3pm to 4:30 so parents get some time to relax knowing the kids are happy and safe either doing arts and crafts in the air conditioned space, in the pools playing games or on the beautiful grass areas in the shade of the palm trees. Enjoy, it is impossible not to.

hotel has a great beachfront location but a little steep uphill walk to town. in november be advised that all services are shut down and everything goes on at don pedro. we felt a little isolated from everything but the upside was that everything was very quiet all the time, so if you want to be in the middle of it stay at don pedro.
