First time at this hotel. Very good value Free parking under the hotel. The staff were excellent.its location is perfect for access and walking. Mercadoma very close.The pool excellent towels v good and the breakfast extremely good. Will stay again

A very disappointing stay. People in the room next to us were extremely noisy. They woke us at 4 am with shouting and thrashing around the room. When I contacted reception, they said they’d call them to quieten down but the neighbours remained noisy until approx 5:30 am. Then, at 7:30 am an alarm started to go off in the opposite room beside us. The walls are very thin so it was very irritating and disrupted any possibility of getting back to sleep. Again, we called reception and they called to the room but no one answered. We then went for breakfast, which was also really disappointing. The eggs and bacon were completely cold and again, we had to ask staff to rectify the issue. On check-out we were charged full price for both the room and the breakfast. The receptionist said we should have requested a new room at the time (not that it was offered to us) which was less than helpful as it was now the next day and we weren’t the issue and it was 4/5 am! Overall, perhaps just an unlucky situation that we were put between two noisy rooms but one made much worse by the hotel staff not offering anything in response to make our stay comfortable.

Bien en general. Solo que la señorita de recepción del hotel podía haber sido más amable. Por lo demás bien. Muy bien situado, cerca del centro. El día que llegamos había un fuerte olor a tabaco en la habitación. Nos ofrecieron otra y ésta fue magnífica, muy bien insonorizada. La cama muy cómoda. El aparcamiento no muy bien señalizado para encontrar la salida. Recomendaría este hotel.

Nuestra llegada fue muy cómoda. Entramos directamente al parking, lo cual es muy cómodo. Cuando llegamos, sobre las 23h, el parking estaba bastante concurrido ya pero había huecos suficientes.Subimos a la recepción y en unos minutos habíamos hecho el check-in y estábamos en la habitación.La habitación era muy cómoda, el colchón confortable y el baño espacioso y agradable. Quizá lo único un poco mejorable es la almohada, pero al ser tan subjetivo no tiene sentido contarlo como punto negativo. Sí que se aprecia que es un hotel muy bien cuidado y conservado, pero aspectos como los ascensores un poco oscuros denotan que no es moderno. Pese a ello, es muy recomendable y tiene una relación calidad precio muy buena.

straight into underground car park - bit tight so be careful! into the bar -shuts at 4.40pm re-opens at 8. good bar meal. breakfast could do with a bit more organisation but apart from that a great hotel.

What a fantastic find! We loved this art deco hotel which is very sympathetically decorated and furnished with spacious rooms. The breakfast buffet is very good value with a great variety of choice and to cap it all, underground secure parking was free!! We would definitely return to this hotel as we had a great overnight stay.

We were travelling to Madrid to catch a flight. The hotel was opulent,bed comfortable and facilities very good with a small pool and gym. The breakfast had lots of choice but no ‘wow’ factor. Why can’t the Spanish make decent bread? Also the sweet pastries always taste stale. The town was a ghost town, all the infractstrure without people.

Great place for a stay over on your way to costa del sol. Good price. Friendly staff. Cafeteria staff took care of us when we rolled in at midnight. This is the middle of Spain, though, and not a tourist destination so don’t expect everyone to speak perfect English. We had a great stay here. Parking was easy. Room was nice and bathroom remodeled. Even had heated mirror so it wouldn’t steam up.

This large hotel in Cuidad Real had much to recommend it. However, in reality it missed the mark on a number of points. The first room we were assigned reeked of smoke (despite this being a non smoking hotel) and the second was only maringally better. Both rooms were an even number on the first floor which meant each room had a small empty terrace, which was covered in cigarette butts, and had a stark cream 8 ft wall giving it the air of a prison exercise yard. The room was very dated and shabby with poorly functioning air conditioning and very few facilities.

The staff was very nice (except the woman running the breakfast!). The hotel was easy to find and was centrally located for a quick, overnight stay. The rooms were bland, with uncomfortable beds (although it was nice to have a king sized bed for a change in Spain!). It was a mediocre hotel that served its purpose for our family for a 1 night stay.

Room was clean, beds were comfy. Breakfast was plentiful although the wifi signal that was freely available in the bedroom didn't seem to extend to the breakfast room (which was a bit dark given lack of windows). We used the pool both mornings we were there and were the only people so very relaxing for an early swim (not very warm) - you need to leave the shower beside the pool running for a long time for it to warm up. Lifts were a bit slow & small but otherwise no problems.

If I knew it would be so good I would have arranged my stay for longer. Loved the town, the people, the hotel, the bar, the pool and fountains......... And especially the friendly and helpful reception ladies and lovely Pedrina in the bar. My wife and I have travelled round Spain from Barcelona to Gibraltar and up to Ciudad Real and Madrid and stayed in many hotels and yours is the best by far. Cheers Pete and Kathy

Have stayed in this hotel before, and would certainly recommend it. Easy access to the town center on foot. Great pool and reasonable price. My only compliant was that in June with 35 degree heat the air con didn't work and the beds were not too comfortable.
