Great location - all processes was Italian clown School - from check-in to check out.
4.0
We stayed in residence part of the complex. Apartment nicely remodelled in an otherwise outdated context. Position is ideal for skiers as it is just across the street from pistes and from the gondola taking you up. Some minor complains about some personnel at the desk not really prodigal in information (we had to ask someone else).
One disappointong fact.
From the description on the Hotels website it seems that pool, gym,.. are included, but it is not so. While it is coorectly reported that parking must be payed extra, I invite the web manager to clearly state that these services are to be payed and must be reserved in one hour slots for 12 euros/hour (not quite a cheap price).

We had a great time. However we opted to pay in full on arrival yet half the payment was taken out of my account without permission 1 month before hand. After constant communication between Hotels.com and myself this was not refunded and I incurred international banking fees.

Great location and has direct access to slopes (10 meters away) and gondola (30meters away). Town restaurants 10 mins walk away and a couple of restaurants and takeaway on site.
Two ski hire companies 2 mins away. Although rooms are dated, small, they met our needs except you cannot regulate the temperature in the rooms and need a local adaptor for kettle. If you are looking for just room and a bed, these are perfect, dont expect luxury.
Underground car parking 10 euro a day and local free bus to Couymayeur to add in another resort to ski in, that your ski pass will cover.
Great resort for families learning to ski, friendly staff and locals. Local ski school was great for the kids and we booked a few private lessons. Good selection of easy blues and reds to learn on and a few black runs are tough and steep, if you want to test your ability. Slopes not busy and well looked after. Would recommend La Thuile for long weekend

Last spent time here 20 years ago. It hasn't been refurbished in that time and things are looking really quite tired. Great access to the lifts though
4.0
We came here for the second time, mainly because of the good skiing conditions and the perfectly located apartment hotel, just next to the telecabin. The apartments are old but clean and serves the purpose of a ski week well. An extra plus for two bathroom in each apartment.
2.0
Location is good, but it has been many years since this was a four star hotel. We stayed in an apartment and it was worn, moldy and slightly smelly. First they tried to give us a smaller apartment than what we had booked, so we had to insist on our reservation. Will not go there again even if La Thuile is pretty nice.

Cheap and cheerful
Adequate for our needs
Great location
6.0
Property have unique location for skiing, but rooms are VERY OLD FASHION, 50 years old furniture, terrible bathroom, NO WIFI.
4.0
The apartments are superbly positioned for ski in ski out. The hotel is very dated but functional. The only thing that I would see as unacceptable is there is no cleaning or change of towels throughout the week. When I contacted reception they informed me that if I wanted the room cleaned and a change of towels it would cost €20 each time. This is the first hotel that I have stayed at that it is not part of the price.
5.0
Conveniently located close to the Ski lift. Supermarket on site and various bars and other stores. Apartment was fine and clean. Would have like a few more utensils in the kitchen.
4.0
The location was great. But it took a long time to do the check in, we had a tall 9 people minivan that did not fit in the garage, so we had to park in a public parking lot down the street,
4.0
We (family of 4) spent 5 nights in the Cervino building.
Pros: the location was perfect, the apartment convenient to spend time before and after skiing, have simple meals, spacious enough for a family with 2 kids. And clean.
Cons: the whole place would need some refresh, the absence of any internet service is unacceptable per modern standards, information from staff was poor (we had to figure out where to put the trash or the skis), most amenities are for a charge (pool, parking), noise isolation typical for buildings of that period.
But overall our stay went very well. And La Thuile is a top notch place!
8.0
Nothing great but certainly nothing bad except for internet connection. Overall it was very good value for money, staff very helpful, everything worked in the room and plenty of hot water.
8.0
Close to the Gondolier Station, supermarket, take away, butchers, pub, restaurant and ski rental outlet all on site. Rooms was clean, warm and comfortable, with plenty of hot water.
10.0
Fantastic location for the ski hire shop, gondola and slopes. Literally a 1 minute walk (if that).
4.0
the location of hotel fantastic! Huge apartment, bigger than the one we actually reserved. The furniture and equipment can use a little renewal.
Wifi didnt work at all...

My 6th visit to this property - very convenient for ski lift access - walk-to-lift - 2-3 minutes. Can ski down, too. Shops and restaurants on the property including a small supermarket. Beware that the floors are tile, so acoustics may be loud. Otherwise all is working, clean and safe. Beds are comfortable, showers and bath tubs are convenient and the hot water is plentiful. Ski run choices are great for all abilities.
6.0
The apartment was very clean.
The apartment was very warm but when it got too hot the radiator valves would not turn the heat down so had to waste heating by opening all windows.
No instructions in apartment about how anything worked., eg complicated microwave.
One small plastic bag supplied for rubbish and no explanation where to empty it. We asked at reception where to put the rubbish and they said we were too far away from the hotel bins so just put it out anywhere!
No mention of recycling waste and that is ridiculous in a high altitude resort that is gathering plastics etc daily.
Asked reception to change towels and was told that we weren't due any extra ones for the 5 days we were there. They said we could pay for more so we opted for that. We did not receive any and although asked for them again ... they never materialised.
It became evident that the reception was only interested in people who stayed in their hotel rooms and NOT in their apartments.
Although we were given directions where to park our car we were not given the pass key so help up quite a few other arrivals while it was sorted out.
We would not go back to any of their apartments or recommend them.

It was nicely located near the slopes with easy access to everything and a short walk from the village. The apartments were very dated and there was a lot of noise from other residents.
4.0
Friendly and attentive staff. Room was dated and very poorly equipped. Good location.
2.0
Great location for the slopes in reasonably priced accommodation. Shame they charge you to use the facilities within the hotel.
5.0
Excellent accommodation. Right next to slopes. A little dated but very clean.
4.0
Some of the blocks are more than ready for a refurb. and some of the rooms can be a bit noisy if they are near the Bars etc but this is more than compensated by the convenience of being so close to the lift system
2.0
The location is the best but the apartments are in need of serious TLC. The plus point is the beds are really comfy which is great when you are skiing all day.
2.0
The hotel is in need of a re furb as the interior of the apartments is very dated.
Best things about the apartments are they are very spacious and the one bedroom has 2 bathrooms which is great for a group. The close proximity to the slopes is also a great advantage.
Top tip if staying. The sound proofing is not very good in the rooms. Lift noise, corridor noise. If you are a light sleeper, take earplugs. But overall the rooms represented good value for money compared to other offerings in the village. Manage your expectations. This is not 4 star quality more like 2 star in a great location to the slopes.
4.0
Reasoanable standard of accomodation in a perfect position next to lifts. Was noisy on one particular night with excited italians! Kitchen equipment look poor but thats not something that worried us as we like to go out in the evenings. For what we paid would go back
1.5
Great location for skiing, functional hotel all be it very dated
3.0
Close to slopes / ski hire / lift passes etc
Few bars in the complex
Quite a few school parties - no problem with them
Pizza etc readily available
Need to explore rest of village for some good places to eat - and then make reservations
Not much apres ski when we were there
Rooms ok - nothing to write home about - they are warm
Showers are small and not powerful
Beds are nearing end of life
Kitchen very basic
Wifi not available in either of our rooms
Only 1 uk tv channel - bbc news

Booked a 2 bed 'residence', or s/c apartment, here for it's proximity to the ski slopes and lifts, and we weren't disappointed.
The 2 bed apartment was spacious, if a little dated, with an en-suite and a separate bathroom with shower, a lounge/diner and kitchen area plus a good selection of provided pots, pans, plates, cutlery etc. We also had a balcony that looked out to the slopes and lifts, with just enough room to get a couple of chairs on to. The TV was almost a museum piece, and was even screwed on to its mounting! Quite who they think is going to try and nick something as out of date as this, is beyond us.
As we dined out at the local restaurants every night, we can't comment on the hotel restaurant or bar, but did use the 'leisure club' and it was fine, although 9 Euros per 'day' when it's only open from 3pm until 7pm is a bit cheeky.
There is a supermarket and ski rental shop in the hotel courtyard, and the ski pass office is right next to the hotel too, so nearly everything you might need is handy.
Overall? Recommended, and will stay there again when we go to La Thuile next time.
2.0
Efficient check in. Underground car park rather confusing layout. Room clean but dated.noisy till midnight due bars and cafes outside. Very close to ski lifts and ski and board rental shop. Supermarket in complex.

Clean hotel excellent staff. Reception staff very helpfull
4.0
Nice stay overall.
Very convenient for skier ( 50 meters from the cableway ).
2.0
We had a 2 bed apartment for 6. Decent size and 25M to the slopes and ski rental shops. Great bar - Le Cage on site with very good pizza and pub grub. This hotel is a little dated but it is clean & warm. La Thuile village is small but only a 5 min walk.
2.0
Main advantage being right next to ski slopes. Main disadvantage being somewhat dated room in need of refurbishment.
3.0
Olds furnitures , kitchen not well cleaned and not good room isulation (both noise and weather)
Gym with many rusty and broken equipments , swim pool with no much for kids
surrounding fast food and take away of poor quality to be avoided on evening, restaurant and Pizzerie are Ok
Hotel very near to the sky plants .
4.0
Tha appartment in the Monte Rosa building was very spacious and comfortable. Unlike in most French appartments we have stayed in, bedding and towels are included in the price and beds are made up for arrival.
The one disappointment was the kitchen facilities. There was only a two ring hob and the kitchen in general was poorly equipped- lack of cups, bowls and no dishwasher!
There was no inventory charge or final cleaning charge (despite the information saying there was) - so a bonus there.
The hotel pool was also a bonus, particularly with colder evenings and children to entertain.
Overall we enjoyed the appartment and the resort.
