Hotel Villa Paradiso provided us with the perfect place to stay and explore Taormina. The room was spotlessly clean and bright with incredible views of the Ancient Theater of Taormina, the coastline, Mt. Etna, and the Taormina Castle. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was fantastic. We loved the luxurious breakfast on the rooftop every morning with great city views and impeccable service. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Many of the staff members have been there for decades and it shows -- the entire operation ran smoothly and we received excellent service at every point. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Taormina!

The stay was very good. Breakfast was bountiful. The upstairs terrace is a terrific vantage point and drinks in the afternoon/evening are delightful. Oddly, the terrace was not staffed on one of our two days at the hotel which was disappointing.

My husband & I decided to stay at this hotel during our visit to Taormina, Sicily. This beautiful property sits right in the center of Taormina making it perfect to get around the town super easily. Downtown or City center is only a 3-5 minute walk from the hotel which makes dinning & shopping so convenient. One thing we loved about staying here was that the hospitality of the owners and staff is unmatchable. Our room was on the first floor facing the garden view that overlooks the Ionian & Mediterranean Sea. As you step out the property and look to your left, you also have the scenic view of Mount Etna. From sunrise, sunset, to the moon & stars, the location is perfect to get a glimpse of it all. We absolutely loved staying here and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for accommodation while in Taormina. This place is not just a hotel, it has become a place we can now call home. Thank you Raffaela, Andrea, and the entire staff at “Hotel Villa Paradiso” for the wonderful experience. Can’t wait back to return back to our home away from home.

Stay at Villa Paradiso was perfect. We had a beautiful room with two sets of doors. Great A/C. Hotel staff very helpful with tours and beach club. Breakfast great on the roof terrace. Great location a 4 min walk to Main Street. Perfect stay.

An excellent hotel, steeped in history. Staff were excellent and very accommodating. Our room (we had one of the rooms with a bathtub and a view) was beautiful, modern but still had plenty of character, and the view breathtaking. Our children shared a three person room and it too had beautiful views. Breakfast is served in a lovely roof top restaurant/bar. Everything was within walking distance and we have a very enjoyable stay. Highly recommend.

What a beautiful quaint property at the top of the mountain overlooking the gorgeous ocean and so close to all of the shopping and sites that you would love to see in Taormina . The staff here was absolutely incredible, especially when we first arrived, and we could not find our way up the Mountain with Google. I called the gentleman at the hotel reception and he walked us through the entire process and stayed on the phone with us in the middle of the night. The hotel was incredible and they take extra care in time to explain things to you. It was really nice that we could valet our car for such an affordable price overnight.

We absolutely loved our stay here. We stayed in 5 different hotels over our 3 weeks in Italy and this was by far our favorite. The location in Taormina is excellent- walkable to everything and right next to the beautiful park. The staff was so lovely and helpful. They gave us great dinner recs and were there to answer questions whenever needed and responded to any needs quickly. If you have a car, definitely take advantage of the valet parking. Our room had an incredible view! The bed was super comfy and our daughter had a little nook with a twin bed that was perfect for her. The room was extra clean, linens and pillows super comfy and the AC was very strong. Breakfast in the mornings was great but the real standout was the Appirtivo time in the evening. Delicious drinks and great small snacks, overlooking the gorgeous view.

Disappointing stay given I picked it based on all the rave reviews. The room I was in was dingy, dirty, and falling apart. Stains and jokes on linens and bed. Outlets falling off the wall. The room smelled of sewage when I returned on the second day of my stay. Maids barged into my room despite do not disturb on the door. I have stayed in motel 6 that are better quality.

We had an excellent time at this hotel. We loved the easy access to restaurants and shopping. Also, we very much appreciated the valet parking service. We also used the shuttle bus to the beach and that was very easy, flexible and reliable. The beach and lidos were very nice. Great service at the hotel! Great breakfasts! Highly recommend this hotel.

We loved our stay at Hotel Villa Paradiso. The room was really nice, and had a lovely view of Etna. The staff were all helpful and friendly. It was conveniently located near the centre of Taormina close to shops and restaurants. The hotel had its own beach club which was great too. Even the taxi drivers they used were all honest, reliable and helpful. We didn't want to leave, and if we return to Taormina, will look to stay here again.

Quite a few mixed feelings here - the building itself is beautiful, wonderfully positioned to have a stunning view of Taormina and Giardini Naxos, and close to the main street, the ancient theatre and the public park (worth checking out!). However, the hotel needs more investment to really take advantage of those strengths. Not all rooms are refurbished, so you may end up with one with malfunctioning aircon and noisy pipework; we asked to swap from one of these because it was just too noisy for us to sleep and the staff were helpful in making that happen. The new room was more modern with a lovely balcony, refurbished bathroom and digital aircon display (allowing you to set the temperature, unlike the old room) but you can see the speedy work they did. The shower was leaking, part of the door frame was held together with staples (yes!) and there was an overall need to love this hotel more. The rooftop breakfast was excellent and offered amazing views, but as a bar it felt lacking. It could be fabulous with just a bit more investment. The arrangement they have with Nuova Spiaggia Paradiso is nice and provides quite a peaceful environment, but you are made aware you’re not as valuable clients as others who pay at the venue - you don’t have access to the pool, and you receive the cheaper and smaller sunbeds. The food is outrageously priced even for Taormina though.

WONDERFUL! Villa Paradiso keeps getting better and better! Have stayed 6 times and love the Villa Paradiso! Great staff! Raffaella and her team make you feel very welcome. Rooftop breakfast is superb and the beach club is top notch. Villa Paradiso is THE BEST PLACE to stay in Taormina!

Stayed here for 5 nights in June and our stay was perfect. Room was ready early, the staff were very knowledgeable, polite and helped us book an unforgettable trip to Mt Etna. It was my husband’s birthday whilst we were there and they arranged an amazing cake with a candle and complimentary Prosecco. The location is perfect, close to the public gardens, restaurants, the Main Street and the open air theatre. Would definitely stay here again!

Nicely new renovated rooms- and great views if you get those rooms. Initially gave us a view of the trees vs the sea but rectified right away. An issue with the HVAC- kept buzzing on and off. For the price in Taormina quite good and the breakfast is spectacular- with views from the rooftop. A nice balance of traditional and modern design.

It was a good stay Though at the check in , I didn’t get the room I reserved and I was trapped in the ey. The elevator problem was quickly solved. And I was offered a good discount for the room issue.
