The hotel is in desperate need of renovation. We felt like we paid more than what we should have. I guess you pay a premium because of the Olympics. But the room smelt of strong mould, the carpets stained, mould on the faucets of the shower, the bed and pillows had a stink to them. We felt dirty after staying there. The only saving grace was the air conditioning, parking, water pressure, and that the staff being nice. Wouldn’t stay here again.

Very large campanile yet we were put in a room round the back so couldn’t park outside. The restaurant wasn’t open for dinner which we wasn’t informed about until we arrived which is one of the reasons we booked the hotel. Breakfast was very good though

The best Campanile we have stayed in by far. Thoroughly recommended in all respects, the most excellent being the friendliness and helpfulness of all the staff we came in. They all smiled genuinely!!

It was in a pretty location on the edge of Bordeaux with lakes to walk round. It was also close to the tram to get into the centre of the city. We would definitely come back as a great city with lots of character and history.

Very bad hotel for the price of nights. I paid for two nights in advance. The hotel is dirty, stinking water spills over the parking lot in front of the hotel. Through the road of the hotel there is karting and bowling, it means a lot of noise during the night. Also, images shown on the Internet are false. All in all, never in the future in this hotel ...

Despite the high occupancy we were welcomed on arrival and the friendliness of the staff was evident throughout our stay. It is conveniently placed to visit the City centre by tram (but make sure you use the correct line to return). With excellent food offerings it provided us with an excellent 2 night stop-over

The hotel is ideal for a short stop over or a longer stay in Bordeaux. It is a two minute walk to the tram station that takes you into the centre of Bordeaux in 20 minutes. The staff are very friendly and the restaurant is good for evening meala.

Good Campanile Hotel, no complaints front desk was very helpful. BTW: we did arrive by car but followed the Hotels recomendation to take the tram to city center which worked great and is only €1.50 p.Person oneway

Our first stay in this hotel, we found to be a pleasant experience,after a long journey from southern Spain. The facilities were more than adequate. The room was clean and comfortable. The tea and coffeemaking facilities, were an unexpected bonus. We will certainly use this hotel again, and recommend it to our friends.
