Lovely clean hotel with room over the lake. Reception excellent and friendly with English speaking staff. Took a walk to the lake which had bathing available then went back to the bar in the evening for musical entertainment. Great hotel, excellent location for Le Mans and the lake.

It's been a while since we stayed in a Campanile so it was nice to see the rooms have been updated, the old bath has gone replaced with a walk in shower the bed was large and comfortable. ✓ Restaurant still poor, with a minimal menu and poor quality low choice buffet. Over priced. Customer Service is what we've come to expect in France. Parking was secure though ✓

A fabulous pet-friendly hotel, with amazingly friendly, helpful and accommodating staff! I stay there often and certainly will continue to do so.. A perfect stopping place on my regular journeys from Spain to the UK, and beside a beautiful little lake, it is also a perfect plave for a lovely dog-walk!

Excellent position for driving from Calais to Dordogne. Although a warm evening, we didn’t suffer from not having air conditioning. Enjoyed the restaurant for dinner, breakfast was ok. Our toilet kept running with water, but it was fixed immediately by the receptionist. Bathroom looked brand new, bedding spotless but could have used a second pillow. Lovely backing on to a lake, where we sat and had a coffee watching the sun go down. Would definitely stay again.

Ideally situated next to a beautiful lake . Dinner in the restaurant was tasty and good value for money. No air con in the rooms led to an uncomfortable night’s. Staff were not very welcoming or willing to help with issues .

The perfect stop off on our way back from the dordogne ,on our way to the Normandy beaches.Room was very clean ,big enough for three people,and good wi-fi. And like many campanile hotels ,had a restaurant on site..Quiet location.

The hotel looks like it has been recently renovated and the communist areas are very nice. Our room had lots of mosquitos and we were bitten in the night. I presume being next to a lake is the downside. Restaurant closed at 10pm with no other food except snacks in vending machine.

Perfect for a one night stop over, lovely location by lake. Helpful friendly staff who spoke superb English. Very quiet nights sleep compared to several other Campanile Hotels I have stayed in. Excellent food in restaurant.

Staff were very helpful when we had a problem with our booking - Expedia had accepted our booking for 2 adults & 2 children despite the fact that the hotel could not accommodate that (apparently it is not the first time this problem has occurred) In fairness, Expedia apologised for the problem & the hotel was able to offer us 2 connecting rooms. Hotel in pleasant location near a lake, 10-15mins outside old town. Clean comfortable rooms with good facilities (tea/coffee, bathroom etc). Perfect & good value for a stopover.

Everything was as expected, for just over £50 the room slept the whole family and was basic but clean and tidy. For a stop off on route it was perfect for us and a bargain. Staff were very helpful, English speaking and free wifi was helpful to. Didn't try any food there as I thought breakfast was a bit expensive so ate elsewhere.

Wouldnt call it a hotel but more of a dingy motel in the centre of a huge industrial area,although the restaurant/reception part was okay the food urself was not worth what we paid and we were mislead by the waitress who told us to help our selves to the salad Buffett,which we did not realising it would cost us another £15,overall our quick snack for lunch cost us £45! And the drinks prices were extortinate for france! There is a pizzeria round corner but this was not open til late evening,so there was no where else we could go at the time. Rooms were extremely small and dingy,we had a pull out bed for our son which we didn't have room to pull out more than half way,there was literally only room For the small double in there! As we had a travel cot too you can imagine how crammed in we were! Also the hotel was shown to have an indoor pool which was the only reason we did agree to book & stayed there once we arrived,there is no pool at this hotel! In 40degree heat and this being the reason for us delaying our journey home you can imagine how upset our kids were. However there is a lake we found down the road with beach which you can swim in,and also the lovely city of le mans jut down the road so we resorted to going there and glad we did as it was a beautiful place. On the plus side breakfast (9euros per person) was quite nice! However we couldn't wait to get out if there, without doubt the worst place we have ever stayed in and we have definitely learnt out lesson from it.
