This is our first pick when we are staying in Muskegon. The hotel is beautiful and the view of the lake is top-notch. The service is always very friendly and the pool and hot tub are great as well. I love that there's an on-site bar and restaurant.

Beautiful room on the 7th floor overlooking the lake! Very romantic hotel. Had drinks and food at the bar one night and ate at the restaurant the next night. Best pool and hot tub experience ever! A hidden gem at this time of year because it was not crowded and it was quiet. I look forward to staying here again!!

Shoreline Inn and Conference Center definitely did not disappoint! The lobby is open and inviting, the front desk staff were all friendly and accommodating each time I passed by. The entire hotel was spotless! Our room was spacious and had a balcony with a beautiful view of the water. Highly recommend to anyone!

Absolute amazing stay. Can't wait to stay there again. Loved the Lake House waterfront grille on the property as well. Rooms were clean and roomy. Water view room highly recommended.

I had a room next to the elevator and it was particularly loud. The shower had multiple hairs in it. Overall the staff was friendly. For the cost I would have rather stayed somewhere less expensive.

This is an excellent hotel. Facilities were overall in good shape, but there were a few condition issues… An old crack in the sink, a loose tile and a need to replace caulk in a couple areas where someone overcaulked and made it a bit messy. The bed was fantastic. the employees were all welcoming and VERY helpful. Would definitely come back!

I came to Muskegon for my 35th class reunion and decided to stay at the Shoreline Inn. The hotel has an older charm to it - cozy and comfortable. The staff I encountered were friendly and accomodating.

Lovely view of the water - nice & relaxing. Room was a little dated but very clean and comfortable. Loved having a little wine & munchies sitting outside at the Lake House restaurant on the grounds overlooking the boats and water.

The hotel was very dark! It is decorated with very dark colors. Needs a redo! Think next time have to stay at the Marriott. Staff was nice . Desk chair in very bad shape! Dark wallpaper! Dark curtains! With that beautiful view the hotel needs to look bright and airy!

Room was extremely dated and nothing like the pictures or reviews. The tub and bathroom was filled with mold and mildew. The whole hotel was dirty and dusty. The only positive was the front desk staff and the beautiful view. Definitely will not be staying here again for the price

The dj for the wedding played till until midnight you could hear every single and even what the dj was playing. Soap scum or like mold in the corners of bathroom walls, and uncomfortable hard beds. Other than that place was nice

The decor in the lobby was beautiful and elegant. The rooms were very outdated. Furnishings and fixtures were broken and in poor condition. The mattresses were stained and old. The rooms smelled of old cigarettes and the carpet stained your socks. The staff was very friendly and the food tasted amazing although one waitress for both the bar, restaurant and room service left it feeling like they were understaffed and caused delayed waits.

The service and amenities were excellent. We tried to check in early, but room with a lake view was not available. We went into town to have lunch, and when returned, we were offered a beautiful lake view room for our honeymoon vacation. All staff members were friendly. We enjoyed the view of the marina and appreciated the cleanliness and timing of our room housekeeping services.

It has been several years since our last stay at the Shoreline. We were excited to return after a wonderful visit in the past, but the expectation fell far short of the actual stay. The customer experience has declined since the last stay. The prior available included breakfast has vanished, replaced by overpriced and very limited breakfast sandwich options. The hotel guests could greatly benefit from a more reasonable lunch option as well. The room rate was appropriate but the additional facility few were not and greatly inflated the nightly cost. Dinner at the Lake House was very good and the highlight of our stay. The available pools were also well maintained and pleasant. Furnishings need updating. The bed was very comfortable. Service was generally prompt and courteous. With its location and history, this could again be a great hotel for visitors to the Muskegon area but at present, it is essentially an overpriced nice but barely above average stay.

Our stay... the Shoreline is old and it shows. Nothing amazing to speak of and priced too high. No breakfast and really just outdated. Staff was very friendly! We will look elsewhere next time.
