Great hotel! Friendly staff. Nice food and drinks.
4.2
Very good general service from the staff, clean and good amenities. Be aware that if you book via Hotels.com (or other portals I guess) you will most likely get the worst location rooms - which I did..
4.2
Caught food poisoning campylobacter at this hotel, never felt so ill in my life. Never ever will i step foot in this hotel again. Now on antibiotics back home.
4.2
The lift situation can be a bit tricky. However, it is across all of big hotels
4.2
Professional and polite staff with good collection of facilities for all ages.
4.2
Nice hotel in the middle of a refurbishment. Rooms and bar areas were very nice, but corridors felt dated and carpet didnt seem like the best choice.
Food was ok, a bit tasteless at times and sometimes lacking variety.
Drinks good, but the bar could have long queues at peak times.
Mainly catering for Dutch / German guests
4.2
We stayed as 2 families of four, managed to get rooms next to each other and the check-in was pretty straight forward.
The rooms were tidy and a good size with seperate sleeping areas (2 singles by the door and a double sofa bed by the balcony)
The cleaning of the room tbrough the week was very basic, the beds would be made and the bin emptied but that was it, the sides and floor didnt seem to be touched. The towels were supppsed to be changed every 2 days but this only happened once in the week. The maids were friendly but paid no attention to 'do not disturb' signs.
The pool area had a huge team going around in the morning to clean up the mess from the night before, in general it was a good job but some of the tables had obviously just been given a quick wipe and were still dirty.
The pool itself was ok, not ideal for young kids as it gets deep really quickly but they had a small shallow pool and a very small splash park for the younger kids.
The kids club was good, the outside has a large climbing frame with slides and indoors had a soft play area and plenty of activities, the animation team were very good and would put on a little dance before the announcements of the daily activities, which there were many.
The food was hit and miss, breakfast was good. Lunch not so bad if you went to the pool bar or a la cart restaurant but dinner was not good, the majority of the same things and very limited options for children as even items that said plain were not.
4.2
I liked the location, very close to Yumbo and quite, Loved the swimming pool and the Spa. Loved my room with balcony. I did not like the animation (for old people) I did not like the food: terrible, salmon is terrible, ham is terrible.Coffe is disgusting , undrinkable, better buy nescafe from supermarket. I am lactose intolerant and they don't have milk without lactose like soya or anything else. But the worst is that you cannot have guest, not even for a second, not even downstairs to pick you up, like a prison, only wristband. I will never book again just for this.
4.2
The staff are excellent and there are good services for children. The food was also very good and the prices for extra services were reasonable.
4.2
Amazing hotel with comfortable beds. Very clean. Relaxing spa facilities and refreshing drinks.
Service was amazing.

4.2
Fabulous hotel, so many facilities with lots to do- they’ve made the most out of the space. Great atmosphere, the staff are fantastic - particularly reception staff, the entertainment team and the pool bar staff (to name a few!)
Very family friendly, catering for all ages

Last minute trip.

I’ve been in this hotel 15 times in the last 10 years but It will be the last. Looks like under a new management who is destroying this place. We feel like we are in a prison. All they see it’s wrist band. Old male receptionist stopped me brutally when entering the hotel even though I had my wrist band. Very aggressively approached me even though my wrist band was clear written Bull Hotels which made me so uncomfortable. This same man walks around the whole hotel checking if no residents are in the premises. Restaurant is really bad. Now during breakfast, dinner there are several staff in the restaurant checking wristbands all the time. In the morning normally there are 3 “bulldogs” walking around lunatics checking your wristbands and also masks. A blond woman grabbed my arm during breakfast when she saw I had a wristband she walked away, no apologies. Orange juice is no longer squeezed. They added so much water which is horrible. Now they put bars outside the restaurant. Definitely like a prison. Tables are on the top of each other. Horrible. Gym is now in another area which is 1/3 of previous one. There is no point to go. Very bad decision to change it. Plus it is now open 2 hours less than before. Palmera bar food is not great. Had a ceaser salad that I had to vomit after all. Bars have opening hours dramatically reduced. Hotel is under staffed which make them work like crazy. Please avoid this “prison” as you’ll feel in a jail.
4.2
Generally a solid and positive experience at this hotel. We stayed half board and were impressed by the value for money. Free spa, gym and pool facilities were excellent. Food was average but the range of desserts could be better. Staff wonderful and couldn't do enough for you. The rooms were functional and a little tired but given the price I thought acceptable.
4.2
The food, bars, pool, spa everything was excellent. If I was to be picky I'd say the service at the abr could take some time and perhaps an extra body or two wouod help but that's being picky.
4.2
Good room, good food especially at the Palmeras bar & pool bar great staff big thanks to Linda, Mila, Noelia, Nuria, Toni, Zaida & the cocktail Queen of the Drago bar Valentina thankyou very much !!
4.2
Excellent hotel and staff, only one problem no sleep at night as hotel room was like an oven due to no air-con we spent most of the night on our balcony to get some air.
4.2
I’ve no Idea why this hotel is a 3 star... this should be a 5 star hotel, it was absolutely amazing, my first time going for Gay Pride with a group of friends & when I go again I wouldn’t stay anywhere else, it’s stunning & the staff are so lovely and helpful.
Rooms are beautiful too, we got to stay on the 8th floor which was even better.
Can’t wait to go back.

Very nice and friendly hotel with great facilities.

Great hotel... amazing choice of food at both buffet breakfast and dinner... good value bar too.
Rooms are quite 'dated' in style but are clean, large, comfortable and great to stay in, light and everything you need, lots of sockets too and good free wifi

This hotel has a great pool and free wellness centre, the gym is clean and well equipped, staff is very friendly and helpful. Rooms are spacious and beds comfortable. Drinks at the bar very reasonably priced. Food reasonably good for an all-inclusive hotel. Distance from the beach 10min walk. Very good value for money.
4.2
Nice hotel, although showing its age. Staff were great. Only minor niggle was the evening and morning food service in the big, buffet style dining room. It sometimes seems that there are just too many people who want to eat at the same time. Keeping food re-supplied is difficult, and the cook to order location sometimes puts too much out for guests, so food loses its eat and freshness (especially at breakfast). But great facilities, pool, gym, rooftop solarium, large balconies. My only real grievance is having to listen to the same country and western songs, night after night after night...
4.2
Good Hotel for a poolside holiday - Shuttle Bus to Beach, I risked all inclusive for the first time. proved to be a good choice - Excellent variety of food (Mainly European) - Staff very friendly and helpful - My ground floor bungalow was well fitted out.Staff all dressed up for the carnival
4.2
Overall a pleasant experience. I was disappointed to find out the price almost halved after the 31st of March. Being retired a £600 saving going 5 weeks later would have made it much more enjoyable.
4.2
Hotel with its glory days long gone, also very large portion of elderly living at the hotel... nothing bad with that, just worth noticing. maybe they should market themselves as a +50y alternative...
drinks not great, with all inclusive you get one option for beer, one for red wine, one for white wine (all the cheapest alternatives you can buy..) but with a larger selection of cocktails like gin and tonic. The tree stars the hotel holds is definitely not for its good food. I would say food was the weakest point. Breakfast was good, however. With a better concept for lunch and dinner, and some more/other (still cheap) alternatives for wine and beer, the score would be 4/5 for the price paid. With current lunch and dinner options it’s more like 2/5. I would recommend a different selection and having different concepts/stations available for lunch and dinner, like Asian, classic Spanish, African, Italian, meal of the day etc. now it’s just a mess, and nothing is really deliciuos.

Stayed in many hotels in Canary Islands generally. This is the worst. Everything is just average. Food is school dinners. Staff are unengaging. Hotel cold. Decor 1990s. Entertainment is Boney M (etc) EVERY night. Entertainment is Butlins 1970. Rooms are large tho. Some facilities bolted on are newish. Couldn’t recommend. Won’t ever go again.

Superb staff

Very nice hotel with very good facilities. Should be really 4 star and not only 3 star hotel. Delicious food, friendly staff and a lots of activities during the day. We had fantastic holidays and we will come back. It was very relaxing stay.Thank you
4.2
Fantastic room. Clean well located. Decor in corridors a bit dated but this will be sorted in time I imagine. Staff friendly. Would return.
4.2
Clean hotel , friendly staff. Food was ok a lot of options
4.2
Hotel clean, discreet globally and friendliness of all the staff of service bars and tables.
Scanty food with sweets at breakfast and discreet dinner, all including opening hours and services is too much and only turned to a North European audience ... you can't dine so soon and the kitchen should be more international if he wants to call it that!
Great and convenient location and pool and common areas.
Bad the massage in the SPA, without desire, nor attention to suggestions that I gave, because li han wondered.
Bad discharge, a moment of chaos probably due to new arrivals to check in, but with three people at the front desk, no one addicted to checking out, and after waiting, a cursory greeting.
Overall a good hotel 3 stars, although the cost too high for what it is!

This is a good-value hotel with friendly staff in Playa del Ingles
4.2
Fantastic Hotel within a 20 walk to the beach but is also serviced by a free shuttle bus, the food is outstanding and always something different every night. The restaurant can sometimes feel quite busy but there is always somewhere to sit or just avoid the busy times like we do. Also at the end of the day a nice session down the spa is always great. The hotel is mainly occupied with Scandinavians and Germans of an older age so do bear this in mind if looking for a mental mental young groups holiday!! That said you will have a great time!
4.2
Nice hotel with nice food. We were half board which worked very well for us. Good pool and no problem finding a lounger despite the usual towels being placed early on
4.2
In a nutshell, hotel was nice, spa facilities was the best part of the hotel! Food was nice but got abit samey, ended up eating dinner else where for 3 out of 5 nights. Hotel booking said free toiletries. This is a lie. They supply no shampoo or conditioner or body wash. Only hand soap. Bedroom is very clean and spacious. However the bed was too soft and very uncomfortable for my back. Hotel was full of 60+ adults. Very calm and relaxing. I am in my twenties and I didn't mind this atmosphere but don't expect a party vibe at this hotel!
