Good cheap budget hotel
3.2
I know it was cheap as we needed a stopover before catching the ferry. The place looks like its about to fall down. Another guest was walking in as we arrived and said it was worse still on the inside. We walked into the reception and walked back out before even checking in. It looks like a hotel used by the govenment for the homeless.
3.2
Quick and easy check in. Friendly reception.
Very tired, old, and dirty room. Smelled of stale cigarette smoke. Too small for 3 adults. Cigarette burn on bed cover and curtains. Dirty stains on underside of the top bunk. Pillows were extremely poor quality, lumpy and hardly worth having.
Booked and paid for in advance on a non-refundable price. We only stayed because there were no crossings available to get back to UK that night otherwise I would have rather paid for another crossing (we were booked for the following morning) and forfeit the cost of the hotel room not to have stayed there!
Breakfast was very basic. Self service, which was fine, but poor selection of bread, mini croissants, pains au chocolate, yogurt and corn flakes, but no milk for them.
It was definitely cheap for a reason. Next time we'll pay a bit more and hopefully get something resembling a hotel room!
3.2
Paid for triple room and only got a double as I was with my 13 yr old boy he was not amused and slept on floor. The receptionist didn't seem to care just said you have enough beds for 2 people I did explain i paid for a triple, he didn't care. Shower was awfull just span on the wall as fitting loose shower curtain useless and flooded the room. Sheets had stains on them and what looked like cigarette burn on the duvet cover. Bins overflowing outside the front doors

The property was generally tired but ok for a stop over
3.2
We had book this as a stop over and as they say you get what you pay for but i have the feeling that i did not get that
on the photo's the beds were all on the floor ,
We book for 3 people, once in the room we had 2 single beds and on top a bunk bed ( of which the ladder was not that safe
the room smelled of smoke very badly.
when i asked if they had a new room i was told no they were full and they handed me a spray.
(this shows me they know about the smell in the room or rooms as that had this at hand.( did not have to look for it)
The shower work which was a good thing but if you had it on too long the floor in the bathroom started to also become wet.
The room was like an oven and we tried to open the window to try and sleep but the noise outside made it so you could not see and if you shut the window the temp just when up.
We had planned to have a early start to get to the ferrry, rond 5 am away but we packed up and hit the road at 3 am just because of the room.
I would give this hotel a miss.
3.2
One night stay as staging for trip to Amsterdam. Bed for the night.
3.2
I had been camping which was awful. Managed to get a room at the last minute which was a real relief. Staff were very kind to me ,and the room was comfortable with everything a motorcyclist could ask for. Will use Hotel Heco when I return đź‘Ť
3.2
There was a terrible, terrible smell of smoke everywhere. Very hard to breathe and sleep in the room.
3.2
It was a great place to stay. I chose it based on location and it was great. It was close to everything. Ot was oppose to the railway station which was important to me.
3.2
Such a terrible place to be in it’s not a hotel not even for animal very bad service very bad place.
We didn’t sleep in as it’s not a place can human being stay in.
Reception was very rude just something wrong
the photos displaying about the hotels are fake There is no beach or anything else such a terrible place. I don’t know where they get their photos.
3.2
I wish there had been a bike shed. Although fairly small there was room for them. I wish we had been on the ground floor. A great value for a great location - close to city gardens and the spectacular Hotel de Ville.
3.2
Would not recommend to anybody, holes in wall, damp walls, mould ,leaking shower ,we ended up having to book in another hotel
3.2
The receptionist was friendly upon arrival. Secure parking for only €2 per day. €0.70 per person city tax. The room was average. Ideally could do with abit of modernisation. The door handle in the bathroom was broken. The toilet seat was chipped all over the lid. The bathroom basin tap didn't get warm but the shower was okay. The window allowed alot of wind noise in through the night which made sleeping difficult. Only 1 pillow per person which wasn't ideal. Bedding had cigarette burns in several areas. Walls seemed to have some yellow staining. Signs of damp around the bathroom. Communal areas were very run down / in need of repair. To sum up , a cheap and cheerful stay. You get what you pay for. Would use again but don't expect 5* when paying 2* prices.
3.2
Worst hotel - used towels and old litter in the room. Heater not working. They seemed to make a real effort to make it awful.
Refund please
3.2
Friendly and helpful receptionist and staff.
3.2
There were cockroaches in our room, showed the man at reception a video of this and he just shrugged it off. Also the power plugs did not work in the room. This place was a joke
3.2
Close to the centre, car parking good. Quiet, small window, small room. Needing renovation.
3.2
Very bad hotel
3.2
staff were exceptionally unhelpful and rude.
3.2
Shabby, run down hotel that looked more like a secure psychiatric unit. Black mould in the shower, broken fittings, what looked like cigarette burns on the bed-spread.
3.2
Disappointing. Place needs a lot of attention and cleanliness is below standard. Terrible bed and I had no sleep at all. Parking and location was the only great thing about it. I had a nightmare checking out at 7am and emergency number on the door was very unhelpful. Luckily my stay was for only few hours at night!
3.2
It is not well maintained as most reviews indicate. Price is not bad if you can put up with the flaws
3.2
Hotel is unmanned after 9pm and the automatic check-in didnt recognise our booking. Had to seek an alternative at 1am!
Location is dodgy as well.
3.2
Check was at 5.00 not 3.00 as stated in our booking. Self-check-in didn't work. We had to pay the taxes but this was included in our payment with Expedia
3.2
Have been using this hotel for years but it really is well past its sell by date and needs pulling down. Our room had damp on the ceiling and the skirting was collapsing. Really strong smell of smoke / body odour throughout. We had pre booked and pre paid for breakfast but hotel refused to acknowledge that and insisted we pay again, which we refused and used the cafe at the station instead.
3.2
The staff were friendly and helpful.
The room I was given first had a broken window so I asked to change rooms which the receptionist kindly changed for me.
The walls are paper thin so if you have loud neighbors they will keep you up.
3.2
When we arrived the gate to the parking was locked, the buzzer seemed to go through to a different hotel because know one was at the desk. Wasn't a great start. First room our keys didn't work on the doors. Second room had a very bad smell of body odour but once I removed the top duvet it went therefore I can only assume they don't replace all the bedding? The hotel had a very strong smell of smokey bodly odour throughout which wasn't pleasent. Beds where hard and very uncomfortable, I don't think we'll be using this hotel again.
3.2
The service mindedness at Première was outstanding. I felt very welcome and taken care off. This was especially nice as I had to spend a few extra days after my motorcycle had broken down. In the end I managed to get it fixed and had the best stay in this nace place!
3.2
Please DO NOT BOOK THIS! I chose to sleep in my car with my two young children instead of staying in the hotel. I felt so unsafe, and felt we were safer in our car. The rooms did not appear to lock properly and reading other reviews it seems keys open more than one room. The stench of smoke was unbearable, the bedding had burns in it, there was a hole in the wall. The place felt seedy and dirty. Expedia - please take this off your platform - it does you no favours having a hotel like this booked through your site - I would think again about booking via Expedia because of this experience.
3.2
Reception closed as after 9pm, check-in not particularly easy, key card issued but no signs to say you can only gain access through a different door!
Room ok but in need of refurbishment.
3.2
A Sixtys Bunker partly refurbished. Still tiny rooms but remarkably good beds....a bit of a groomy smeel but all in all a fair Deal. You geht what u pay 4.

hotel has declined
3.2
Very grubby, smelt of smoke and didn't feel very safe. Bed framed was filled with cigarette butts. Communal area was okay, although they kept the bar closed. Breakfast was basic and okay. There was certainly a reason it was cheap, but this place hasn't seen an update, repair or a lick of paint for years. Place was surprisingly quiet.

Hotels.com, you do yourselves no favours in supporting this dreadful hotel (if that's what you could call it). If this had been our first experience of a Premiere Classe it certainly would have been the last!
Our room was a small dump. Nowhere to hang clothes other than a hook in the bathroom. The stench of smoke everwhere was overwhelming.
We were not given towels and when I asked for them I was met with an incredulous look and the response of "You want towels???"
Hotels.com l, read this and take this disgusting excuse gor accommodation off your books. I will be writing to the CEO of the company who owns the chain to advise him the same.

My first foray to Calais after Covid lockdown was most successful. iI was made most welcome at Premiere Classe and they went to great trouble to give me a cool ground floor room. It was small but comfortable and had constant hot water. I am a little disabled, so the hotel was close to the centre and a short walk from good restaurants. There were many activities, and the surrounding area is full of towns with an interesting history. No time to be bored and of course miles of sandy beaches. Altogether Premiere Classe made my stay very pleasant. The breakfasts provided were quite good. I was able to supplement them with my dietary requirements as I'm allergic to gluten and sugars. Special thanks Nadira who stored my fromage blanc in their fridge. This was most welcome

We fell through unsafe the whole stay in Calais.
3.2
This is a dorm room for one person! No towels no toilet paper! The only thing it had going is the location. Bring your own everything from A to Z ! And the keys work in other doors?
3.2
To be honest, i was late in due to ferries, i was very tired, Little help from night man, press the code he kept saying, what code???, it was the 20 digit ref no. (Well not far off) after that got in. Bit grubby could do with lick of paint to freshen up. just falling into bed was alll i did,
It was in the morning noticed duvet sheet could be better as well as decor. But white bed sheets were whiter than snow white SURPRISED
